Just as your Little Hero combats the Sugarbugs, we combat negative reinforcement. Our sidekicks keep your childs spirits high and vibrant for a spike in self-esteem and creativity levels. We encourage a flow of energy and imagination for full participation during treatment and educational sessions. We provide Little Heroes with the information they need during their early years so their smiles shine all the way into adulthood.

To keep the smiles of every little South Texas hero bright and beautiful, Board Certified Pediatric Dentist Sergio Guzman established three locations within a span of five years. He kicked off his crusade in Mission in 2008, followed by San Juan in 2012, and Laredo in 2013. Every grand opening has been successful in helping us cultivate strong community bonds with parents and their children. Our practice is committed to high-quality dental care for every patient, helping him or her fight the evil forces of tooth decay and earn the cape of a hero.

Dr. Sergio Guzman is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who specializes in working with patients from infancy through early adulthood. Dr. Guzman is fluent in both English and Spanish. He defends healthy smiles at all three of his dental practices in the South Texas region.
The Little Heroes Pediatric Dentistry team is specially trained to provide exceptional care to pediatric patients. Dr. Guzman takes the time to get to know all their patients and make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

Very sad on my experience got a procedure done for my daughter at Lmc sedation came back to my daughter after surgery/procedure had a big bruise on her forehead up to this day no explanation to what happened to her.Never again to leave her alone with careless people feeling some type of way for leaving her on hands of people that only see her as$ not as a human being!!

We have been taking our son to to Little Hero's since day one...it's been a great experience. Dr. Virella always takes the time to explain procedera and clear any questions. Dr. Virella and the staff have always delivered a pleasant experience for our son as the years have gone by. Never an issue in 9 years. Highly recommend.

My kids love Dr. Alegra! The amazing attention and patience they have for each of their patients is so comforting. They explained to my 8yr old which tools were going to be used and reassured him he was doing great throughout the whole process. I can't thank them enough for making my children feel comfortable going to the dentist! If you are considering taking your children with a dentist who truly cares for your child's dental health, is patient and friendly, you definitely want to consider Little Heroes with Dr. Alegra :)

My child loves visiting with Dr. Alegra and her staff at Little Heroes! We have been a patient for more than four years. Dr. Alegra and her staff are very patient and attentive. Dr. Alegra makes each appointment comfortable and relaxing by explaining to my child the treatment, and watching out for any signs of discomfort. The set-up of the office is also very child friendly and not intimidating! At the end of your appointment, your child will receive a reward for his/her good behavior. Lastly, it bears mentioning that the office is well run so you will be seen at your appointed time, rather than being kept waiting for a while as in other places.

Bad service from Dr. Alegra Virella, pinching kids and being condescending to parents is her specialty. We talked to the staff and they all say the same thing. That's how she is most of the time. Don't exposed your child to this traumatic experience, go somewhere else

What can I say about Little Heroes? So much! Dr. Allegra is awesome. My kids love her, trust her, and enjoy her. She makes going to the dentist for kids such a positive experience. The staff at LH is also tremendous. From the girls at the front desk to the assistants in the rooms, everyone is upbeat, encouraging, and helpful. I could not recommend Little Hereos enough!

Definitely the best in Laredo for kids dentistry. Dr. Alegra is always so calm and so understanding. She tries her hardest to make her patients get to know her so they feel comfortable in her presence. My one year old was waving to her nonstop before it was her turn after her 5 yr old brother. That's when the screaming started. I apologized and she told me not to, that it's up to the doctor to get the baby to trust them. And she did. By the end she was smiling. Their theme is superheroes and my kids always walk out feeling SUPER. We love Little Heroes. We will continue going to them for all our teeth/mouth issues for as long as we can.
