When you meet Dr. Azi Ardakani, you will immediately realize her love for children and her love for her work. She is full of energy and sparkles and her presence brightens up the room. Dr. Azi noticed this feeling early on in her life and has committed to that dream ever since she was a little girl playing with her UNICEF puzzles. Growing up in Orange County California, she developed a passion for healthcare and continued making this dream come true as she attended University of California Irvine receiving her Bachelor in Biological Science. She graduated top of her class and continued her education at UCLA School of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After becoming a proud DDS, she moved across country to continue her education in the field of Pediatric Dentistry and Child behavior. Dr. Azi received her Pediatric Dental residency certification as the Chief of her class from NYU college of Dental Medicine in New York. She stayed in touch with the academia and has been active as Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Health Promotions at NYU.
Dr. Azi loves promoting oral health to the children of the world and for that she participates in yearly volunteer missions, providing dental care to third world countries and children in need all over the world.
Dr. Azi is also present in the community of Southern California by conducting dental education and oral health workshops for children and their parents in schools individually and through UCLA outreaches. Dr. Azi is an active member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and California Dental Association.
She has been voted one of the most caring pediatric dentists by her peers in Orange County. She strives to create a modern, pain-free, Eco-friendly and comfortable environment at Little Heroes so that every child feels special and receives the out most amount of care in her/his visit to the dentist. After all, she truly believes Children are our Heroes, and shes committed to take good care of her Heroes.
Dr. Erica Wu was born in Orange County and grew up in both Taiwan and California. After completing high school in Northern California, she attended college in St. Louis before returning to California for dental school at The University of Southern California (Go Trojans!). At USC, she developed her love for pediatric dentistry through community outreach programs. Throughout dental school, she volunteered and operated several free clinics for the underserved children and adults in the Southern California area. She has also volunteered on several mission trips abroad in South America. After dental school, Dr. Erica went on to complete her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). While in Michigan, she also completed an additional year of training in treating adults with special needs.
After many years in the Midwest, Dr. Erica is happy to be back home in the Orange County area. When she is not busy serving our little heroes, she enjoys trying new recipes in the kitchen, playing games with family and friends, and traveling to new places. Dr. Erica is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is excited to help your little ones achieve and maintain happy healthy smiles.
Kimberly started with Dr. Azi at little Heroes in 2016 before the doors were opened. She grew up in the Pacific Northwest before moving to sunny Southern California 27 years ago where she now resides with her beautiful family.
Kimberly will greet you with a big smile and a warm welcome when you walk through the front door. She will go above and beyond to make every parent and patient have the best experience possible, every visit. Her ability to make parents feel like they are family and not just a patient comes naturally because she truly loves her role at Little Heroes.

This is definitely a 'try to make as much money as we can' operation. The cleaning was rushed and probably did little or nothing. The main purpose of the exam was to scare us into doing unnecessary work. The work that was done, i.e. sealing, was bad and did not last. The unnecessary and bad work was verified by another dentist. It won't be hard to find better care for your kids elsewhere.

If l could give 0 and l will!!! They did my child every 6 months cleaning only for 5 minutes!!! She only cleaned her front a few teeth cleaning!!! Even l requested for putting Fluoride on her new teeth, but she refused to do without any reason! And my insurance only covers once every 6 months cleaning and Fluoride. Plus they had canceled my 2 appointments in JUAN which next month from now, they just told me that they had never made those appointments with me. l had my Calendar in my bag and l carry it everywhere l go, just for write down the appointment time right away! l stay with them because they are Pediatric Dentistry, BUT LOOK What THEY HAD DONE!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Pediatric Dentist establishment. We have been coming for 3-4 yrs i believe and i cannot say enough great things about this team. From Dr Azi and her team to Kimberly up front. They are all so warm and professional. The environment is very clean and fun and inviting for kids. They are incredibly patient with both kids and parents. Grateful they are here.

Love this place! Down to earth pediatric dentists and very friendly staff. I initially found this group through a mom's club I belonged to. I was searching for a dentist to put an appliance in my son's mouth to help him stop sucking his thumb. I was surprised at how many pediatric dentists I called wouldn't do this for one reason or another but this office worked with me and my son completely got over his thumb sucking habit within a few weeks. I come from a family of dentists (dad, 2 brothers, brother in law, and a sister who is a dental hygienist) so quality dentistry is a big deal to me. Highly recommend this place!

This office is for the whole family! They offer flexible scheduling and are always accommodating. Their office manager/administrator Kimberly has superb customer service. Even when I sit and wait in the waiting room, I can hear her dialogue with other clients, and she's always attentive trying to meet their needs with respect and concern. Going to the dentist for kids isn't always fun, but my kids love going here since they have built a rapport with the staff here & feel safe & comfortable. In addition, Dr. Azzi has been nominated top dentist several years in a row by Orange Coast magazine, and was part of NYU's Global Student Outreach Program. This speaks volumes of her character and care for the community. Thank you Little Heroes!

I have had such a hard time finding a pediatric dentist for both my kids and I got to say when I was recommended over to little heroes, I was not disappointed! I do have to drive from Lake Elsinore to Aliso Viejo, but I do not mind the drive. Staff is amazing! From the very first visit to now, I have been greeted with a friendly smile from the front office. Kim is amazing and goes above and beyond to help with scheduling and Ashley in the back office always takes amazing care of my kids. They both live her..Dr. Azi was the only one willing to see my kids during Covid and that alone goes to show how much she cares for her patients! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND little heroes!

Dr. Erica Wu is the best!! We have been bringing both of our children here for years and are very happy with how wonderful everyone at this office is. It is very telling that both of our kids actually look forward to going to the dentist for their checkups :)

I have no idea how people have given this place more than one star? Receptionist was very rude, Doctor was not even present and her assistant injured our 8 years old on the side of her mouth from rushing everything to such careless levels. I would never again take my daughter there and you shouldn't. I can't imagine any dentist office be worst than this!

Took my 5 and 7 yr old children to see Dr. Azi and never thought they'd ask, "When can we go back to the dentist?" Mind you, this was after filling cavities, not just a check up! Dr. Azi was extremely kind, gentle and very respectful toward my children in that she prepared them and walked them through exactly what she was going to do. She asked if anything was uncomfortable and graciously adjusted things for them. Dr. Azi and her staff were very welcoming and professionals at creating a calm and child friendly environment. There was no wait, there was no fear, there was only kind faces making everyone feel at ease. The kids left with prizes as well as a magnetic butterfly gift - a wonderful touch and great way to leave a nice memory for them. I'm very grateful for the experience which could have easily been completely traumatic like we've had at other offices. Thank you, Dr. Azi and team!!!!

We have been going to Little Heroes of Orange County Pediatric Dentistry since my son was 2 and we absolutely love Dr. Azi and her staff. Dr. Azi is amazing with kids and makes the entire experience very pleasant. I highly recommend this office!
