Dr. Shiva Amanat was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Chapman University and continued on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences.
She discovered her passion for treating children while volunteering her time at CHOC Childrens Hospital of Orange County and for the nonprofit dental organization in Orange County. Her passion in general dentistry for children grew during her time in dental school, and she went on to complete an externship at South Bay Childrens Health Center Dental Clinic.
Dr. Amanat strives to create a dental environment that is both fun and nurturing for her patients and their families. One of her biggest priorities as your childs dentist is not only treating cavities, but also preventing them. During each dental visit she focuses on both patient and parent education as key components in preventing cavities, and is dedicated to helping fulfill your little ones healthy smile.
Dr. Andrew Elmasri was born and raised in Orange County, CA. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. His love for the health profession attracted him to dentistry where he attended and graduated from Loma Linda University with honors in Implantology and Anesthesia. It was during dental school that he realized his passion for anesthesia, and so he continued training at Loma Linda to completed a post-doctorate residency in Dental Anesthesia.
During his residency, he received extensive training in cardiology, internal medicine, medical anesthesia, and dental anesthesia. His valuable training at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda University Childrens Hospital, Riverside County Regional Medical Center, and Loma Linda Veteran Affairs Hospital provided him with experience and proficiency in treating a wide range of patients with various medical backgrounds. In addition, he trained at Loma Linda Universitys Special Care Dentistry Center, which provided him with the valuable experience of dental anesthesia through treating patients as young as 12 months old and patients with a variety of special needs, including ADHD, Autism, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Developmental Delay, and more.
Dr. Elmasri is a member of the American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, International Anesthesia Research Society, American Dental Association, and California Dental Association. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Klaudine is from Long Beach. She graduated from Concorde Career College Dental Assisting program in 2012 and then obtained her RDA License in 2015. She chose to pursue a career in the dental field because of her passion for people and enjoys educating them on the importance of oral health.

I take my toddler girls here and cannot recommend Little Healthy Smiles enough. My girls ask to go back to the dentist!!

The dentist and everyone in the clinic had been so hospitable, patient, kind, fun and interactive with my 3 year old that he forgot he was in a dentist's office. It was when he was lying down and is doing his cleaning when their professionalism shone as they were so calm in handling his discomfort and did an excellent job in calming him down-enough to get the cleaning, flossing and fluoride application done. So to all of you, thank you so much for today.

Great office staff. Super clean and best part of all.... They got all the cool games, kids shoes, and toys that my kids love. Our first visit to the dentist went wayyyy better than we anticipated.

I'm so happy I found this office for my grandson. Dr A and Blanca were so kind and understanding with him as he was nervous. We don't have dental insurance, so I was happy that they offer specials and a discount plan. The office is clean, decorated so cute and they offer evening hours!! I definitely be referring more patients to the office.

Dr. Amanat is magical. I brought my 10 year old and it was wonderful. The doctor made my son feel confident and communicated clearly what our next steps should be. We left feeling good about our visit. Thank you , Dr. A and staff for being super friendly and kind.

It was our son's second visit and he didn't just walk in, he dashed right in to greet Dr. A with a huge hug and was so excited to see the office manager Ahileen and dental assistant Blanca! We cannot thank this dental dream team enough for making his experiences so fun and memorable! I cannot recommend Little Healthy Smiles enough. My girls are wild and I would just assume a trip to the dentist would be horrible and exhausting. Not the case. They love this place. They actually open wide and let the dentist do everything she needs to do. I would love to bring this kind of energy home when its time to brush teeth..

Had a great experience with my 18 month old's first appointment! He's very shy and just kept shaking his head but the doctor helped him relax and eventually was able to do a full exam and cleaning! He left happy and waving his balloon very proud!

Dr. Amanat is very knowledgeable and knows how to work with my 5 year old son who gets scared of seeing a dentist. She kindly shared with him what she was doing and even listened to and answered his goofy questions. :)

Frankly, I did a lot of research and ended up taking my 5 and 4 year old kids here for their first dental appointment ever! I have to say, both my wife and I...and kids absolutely loved the entire experience. Doctor Nicole was so sweet and nice and educational and so was the team. Our kids were obviously nervous to go, but were sad to leave and are already asking to go back. We highly recommend

Update: still the best pediatric dentist we've ever seen. My children are now over 3 and 1 years old. Still love going to see everyone at the office and the staff is amazing and patient with them! They always know us even tho we come months apart for cleaning! Great communication when confirming appts, i seriously cannot say enough!! Hands down best pediatric dentist. My 2.5 year old is terrified of doctors and settings with strangers. Dr Nicole and her staff made us all feel so welcome, the exam was fun and entertaining for her and made the experience 100% less scary. She even got my son who's 7mo to sit still for a little exam and cleaning. I 100% recommend dr Nicole and her staff. My daughter already said she can't wait to go back to the dentist and that's a win for us!!
