From the moment you walk through the front door at Little Grins Dental, it is evident that we are focused on pediatric dental care. From our indoor playground to the colorful murals, through the child-sized doorway, into our exam rooms outfitted with pediatric sized equipment and 3D televisions, and from within the kind, gentle manner and professional expertise of our staff, you can see that we are clearly kid-friendly.

What is not so evident, but equally important to us, is that the families of our Little Grinners feel comfortable and happy in our office as well. As parents we know that we often transfer our feelings about something onto our children whether we want to or not. In the case of visiting a pediatric dentist, a nervous or apprehensive parent can often lead to a nervous or apprehensive child. Our goal is to make your child feel happy and at ease, but also to take away any concerns you may have.

The first thing youll notice about Little Grins Dental when you come to visit us is that our practice doesnt look like a typical dental office. When you come in, youve entered our back yard, complete with a big play gym, and brightly colored deck furniture. We also have a train table and two Nabi2 tablets a little something for everyone! Youll also see the Little Grins team members hanging out in the clubhouse under the big trees.

Did an appointment request and heard nothing and then when I called to see about setting up my twins the lady gave me the number for a different dentist. She asked if I had concerns for their teeth, well who wouldn't be at age 3 with no cleaning before. I wanted a check up and cleaning not a referral. Sad.. I don't care how great your dentist is if this is how you treat people. FYI we are self pay, no private insurance, the insurance question that was asked before her referring us somewhere else.

All of the staff is very helpful and friendly. All costs out of pocket are given up front. Dr. Rechkemmer is great with my children especially my one that gets anxious about dental work. The hygienists are all great too!

I've been bringing 2 children here for the last 2 years. I love that my children WANT to go to the dentist because it's completely kid themed and comfortable for them. While waiting they can play on the indoor play set, tablets, or train set. It's so nice seeing kids play rather than sitting still trying to be quiet. The exam rooms are themed in addition to small equipment for little people. It's precious! The assistants and dentist make the experience great by being playful and engaging. Before starting any thing they talk to the kids and tell them what they are about to do. They say a lot of encouraging things to children regarding their brushing skills. I love that because my children don't believe me when I tell them so it helps coming from someone who doesn't think they are perfect already. Haha. The ladies at the front are pretty great too. Another thing I really like about this office is that they aren't exposing us to strong candles or other heavily scented sources. It really makes the place more enjoyable for parents. The only thing I dislike but isn't a deal breaker for now is that they are not contracted with my insurance. That means that I have to pay every bill up front. Which can sting a little. The ladies up front did tell me about this when my insurance changed so I wasn't shocked the day of the appointment.

These folks are great! We have three kids (7,4,2) and they are always kind and gentle and really know how to work with little ones. My kids LOVE the dentist day! Play place, movies and treasure box are always a hit! Highly recommend!!!

We absolutely love Little Grins Dental. It's a pediatric dentist. There is a play place in the waiting room, as well as tablets for older kids. The entire waiting room is painted like the outdoors. The door to go into the dental office looks like a big tree, and there is a small door for the children to go through when they go back into the exam rooms. Every exam room is painted a different theme, like ocean, or space, etc. They have a 3-D TV above the exam chairs, and the kids can put on headphones and 3-D glasses. The dentist is awesome with the kids. He is super friendly and talks directly to them. All four of my kids absolutely love it! I have actually used the threat, "if you don't stop that right now, you don't get to go to the dentist!" And it worked! Ha ha! Every person there, from the receptionist, to the hygienist, to the dentist is very friendly and excellent with kids. When my son had an accident on the playground and knocked a tooth out, they got me in right away to check on his mouth and make sure everything was OK.

My kids love Little Grins and cheer when they hear they have a denstis appointment. The playground in the lobby doesn't hurt, but all the staff are very kid-friendly and welcoming and provide excellent care

Was great the last few years until until today when they demanded payment up front instead of filing with our insurance first which is illegal

The only thing that was nice about this place was the play area in the waiting room. My daughter who brushes her teeth all the time...because I do it, had several cavities (without a single X-ray mind you). Dr. Craig didn't even have the time to sit & answer my questions as to how this happened because I was SHOCKED my 3 year old would have 7 caps that needed to be done. He then explained he didn't have any time to do them & we would be referred elsewhere for treatment. Ok so now you are loosing a long time customer with this being her first visit & you are referring us to someone else to care for her until she is 18. Made absolutely no since to me! Now we are going somewhere else not recommended by Little Grins & it has been excellent service! That doctor actually took X-rays & informed me that since I was very sick when pregnant that most of her problems are not related to bad brushing just a result that happened inutero & nothing we could have done differently. Please beware if you child does not have perfect teeth they will probably do the same to you. Wouldn't it be nice to be a dentist & work on people with perfect teeth all day.

Hands down- the BEST children's dentist office. They have a full blown play place in the waiting room!

I've noticed reviews on here that have given Little Grins a lower rating and they all seem to have something to do with the customer's inability to pay for the services being provided. After a bit of research, I found that Dr. Craig has spent many years doing charity work and has helped fix teeth for those that couldn't afford to pay for the high quality work he is providing. I found the prices at his office to be very reasonable and even less expensive than the dentist where we lived before. I just left with both my children and they did not want to leave the dentist's office! The staff provided the best care I could imagine from a dentist's office and they spoke to the kids in ways that got them both to cooperate without any trouble at all (I wish I could do that at home). When I had questions about the treatment plan for my child, Dr. Craig was able to put me at ease very quickly. I truly appreciate the kind, attentive staff and great experience. Thank you.

First time visit for my child who really enjoyed his time after a little persuasion of ice cream afterwards. Going to the dentisr completely different from when I was a kid 30 years ago. At this place there are NO scary drills sounds, boring yellowish ceiling tiles, or music from an elevator. This place was amazing and if the dentist chairs could fit my body I would lie that my age is under 18. Seriously they have tvs on ceiling where you watch a 3D movie. Kids have it so much nicer.
