Our office, located at650 International Blvd., Suite A in Oakland, CA 94606, is in the heart of Oakland Downtown and is close to Lake Merritt. We are very pedestrian-friendly and have plenty of parking in the back of the building.
Dr. Phu Le is a general, family and cosmetic dentist. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCSF School of Dentistry and completed an additional year of residency at UCSF in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Since graduating from UCSF, he has been practicing and serving communities in East Bay.
Also, Dr. Phu Le involves in teaching dental residents at AEGD Program at UCSF School of Dentistry as clinical professor. That privilege has given Dr. Phu Le further advancement in his clinical treatment skills and up-to-date technologies. Having 2 little kids, Dr. Phu Le discovered that he really enjoyed working with children, and his enthusiasm and passion comes along from children around.
Dr. Phu Le is board certified by the Dental Board of California and an active member of the California Dental Association and American Dental Association. In his free time, Dr. Phu Le loves being outdoor, going hiking and traveling.

My 1 yr old granddaughter had a fall at the park and her tooth was chipped. The dentist staff fit her in on emergency and when we arrived they knew my daughter and granddaughter like family. They are very compassionate, explained everything in detail. This office staff are very personal, doctor very good at explaining . End up pulling out tooth but with at team like that made it easy for us. Thank you all !!!

My son and I came in 10 minutes early and ended up waiting 30 minutes more than our scheduled appointment. Two clients who came after me had already been accommodated and if I didn't ask how long we needed to wait, the front desk would have not put us in the queue. By the look on her face, she herself was surprised that they forgot us. If it was just me waiting I probably would let it slide, but when you have a toddler who is active, gets bored, and is cranky then being qserved at your appointment time is important. They are strict about punctuality and have fees when the client is late. You ask your patients to be punctual, then please be professional enough to accommodate people on their scheduled time. I was so upset but the manager was very apologetic and nice, and so is the dentist. Had it not been for them this clinic has a 1 star rating for me.

My daughter had 7 cavities. After they removed the 1st two, they refused to continue on the next visit insisting on sedation which had to be referred out. Eventually we were able to return to my daughters previous dental office "Pow Dental" in Albany where they performed all remaining cavity removals in two visits without the use of any sedation or laughing gas. It was a smooth visit no crying or fear of the injections. Always go with your instinct and not assume your child being put to sleep is your only choice. Ps they wanted to put those big metal colored caps on. That wasn't neccessary either. Not the 1st place I'd recommend for your child's dental needs.

Every trip to the dentist is fantastic! Everyone is always warm and welcoming! Dr. Le keeps us on our toes with proper cleaning techniques and is office is ever changing to accommodate the needs of his clients! We love Dr. Le and his staff!!!

Dr. Phu and his staff are so wonderful with my boys. It is our best experience so far with pediatric dentist. Frontdesk is always friendly and professionally. We are impressed with their animal balloon making skills and my kids always look forward to having beautiful balloons at the end of their visits. They also offer free Disney character toothbrush kit and the kids are super excited about it. Dr. Phu is so thorough and explains everything in details. We love his honesty and patience with kids. We found very lucky to find Little Gold Fish. I have referred friends and family members and all are happy with them. Exceptional dental service!

Today I brought my daughter in because she was in pain. I have taken her to multiple dental offices where she has been turned down treatment because they thought "she wouldn't do well" after all the frustration, I made an appointment with this dental office where I was greeted with intelligent front desk receptionist that knew what they were doing. I explained to the dentist what was going on and let him know my daughter was in pain. When he reviewed the X-rays he seen all the concerns I had. His first priority was getting my daughter out of pain and he made sure he walked her through every step and made her as comfortable as she could get. I was allowed to sit in the room with my daughter and see how passionate he is about his career choice. Definitely 10/10 recommended pediatric dental office. Thank you to all the staff in this office that really care about their patients well being and the excellent service you all provide. It is much appreciated and very hard to find a dental office like this

I'm so glad to have found this gem. They treat you like family and from the doctor to the assistants to the front desk all treat you good and welcoming. It's always a good experience when I go for both my kids. My son enjoys and looks forward to going to the dentist. I recommend this place to everyone.

Little Gold Fish Front desk staff Ladies and PHU LE,DDS Go above and beyond for their clients .Very friendly and professional the dentist came out and introduced himself to my son who was beyond frightened and very anxious .the dentist spoke to him and calmed him down they even made a doggie ballon for him .I came all the way from Richmond and it was well worth the drive if you want a dentist and staff who care about your child and make it such a pleasant experience that my son who was crying and did not want to go in but the dentist came in and won him over with his gentle and kind way my son trusted him and when we were leaving that once frightened child was smiling happy and wanted to go back inside to see the dentist and staff .I am beyond happy and have the upmost respect and confidence in Little Golden Fish if you want the Best pediatric dentist and staff please patronize this business it's worth the drive to have a pediatric dentist and staff who make the children and partners feel so happy and satisfied with their services

I absolutely LOVE Little Goldfish Dentistry! The dental assistants and the dentist are amazing. My daughter has been coming here since she was about 10 months. I love how they make the office very kid friendly. My favorite is the balloons and certificate at the end. They are very good at following up with you after the appointment and doing appointment reminder calls.

I love this place... Dr. Ruben was so gentle with my 2 year old. He is very difficult to deal with but sat very nice for him. Definitely felt comfortable with him. The staff is amazing and super friendly. I loved the Dr.'s Honesty and different options he gave us.
