A picture explains what words never can, especially when it comes to your teeth. An intraoral camera can take pictures with such detail, it can show cracks and stress marks in a tooth that cant be seen with the naked eye.
Known as CBCT, this advanced imaging technique uses a cone-shaped X-ray beam. The cone beam rotates around your head to create a highly detailed 3D image of your mouth to help us accurately design your treatment plan.
Dr. Little grew up in the Philippines. Her family moved to the U.S. when she was 18, and she proceeded to study electrical engineering at Virginia Tech. She then spent six years working as a design engineer. She loved everything from the creative process of building a 200-foot automated robot to the tedious minutiae of soldering a circuit board; however, the time spent in front of a computer screen or designing electronics quickly revealed a missing piece to her experience: the human element.
She entered graduate school to seek other fields to which her technical skills could apply. An introduction to biomaterials the ingredients for tissue and organ replacement, drug delivery, adhesives and dental implants immediately piqued her interest. It was a natural realization that dentistry was a career path where a finely-honed engineering skill, like prototyping small circuit boards, would complement her abilities to understand and interact with people.
Dr. Little received a graduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and her dental degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. She completed a General Practice Residency program at Jersey City Medical Center upon completion of her dental education.

We accept most insurance providers and third-party payment alternatives for those without insurance.

I went in for some minimal dental work on 4/28/2022. After I was done I was told that my insurance wouldn't cover the majority (they were in network) and that I had to pay $823.00. I paid and left. I then received the explanation of benefits from my insurance informing me that I only owed $102.00 given that they are an in network provider. I proceeded to call Little Family Dentistry to explain and provided them with a copy of my receipt and the explanation of benefits. I have called 50 times from 5/2/2022 to today and have been avoided and thrown around to different departments. I was told that I must call billing to resolve the issue and now the billing department has forwarded my calls to voicemail. This is the most unprofessional behavior and worse customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I have yet to receive my refund or a response from the billing department. Needless to say I will not be returning to this dentist and will be seeking a refund through legal means. As stated in other reviews, Mariette at the front desk is indeed awesome, but unfortunately there's nothing she can do.

Great service, very friendly and attentive staff, the receptionist welcomes you with a smile, the assistants are very careful and make sure you are well and Dr. Hanna cares a lot about her patients and treats them with great dedication and care. Personally, I don't like going to the dentist, but here they have treated me and my family like never before and they make me feel at home. 100% recommendable.

My experience at Little Smiles has been amazing. I have had my fair share of dental work, and Dr. Hanna and her assistants have always put me at ease. She makes sure I am comfortable throughout the whole process. What I love most about Dr. Hanna is that she explains the process to me and makes sure that I understand. Forever patient here. I had a great first visit at Little Family Dentistry. I was welcomed by Mariette at the front desk. She was very warm professional. She answered all my questions. Evelyn the hygienist was gentle and motivated me to take better care of my teeth from now on. I look forward to getting my treatment done with the doctor.

Dr. Hanna has been excellent in diagnosing my problem and suggesting a course of action. Once I decided to follow her advice, the work was done with compassion and understanding. Her staff members--Kika and Noel--are understanding and efficient.

Dr. Kaldas is wonderful. She was extremely thorough, patient, and caring. The staff is also welcoming and the office feels cozy. I loved my experience with today's visit. Thank you Little Family Team. 5's all the way! **Update 1 yr later** wow I'm so happy I found an office like the Little Family, Dr. Hanna, her assistant Noel, and the hygienist Evelyn were all amazing. The lovely front desk receptionist was also amazing and helpful. I totally love it here they're patient, thorough, understanding, and do their best to be as helpful as possible. They NEVER answer the phones. I scheduled an appointment and they canceled it for some reason. I've tried calling them at least 10 times to try and reschedule and not a single time have they answered or returned my calls. I'm having a lot of tooth issues and I'm a returning patient... To have no one ever personally get in contact with me is really frustrating.

Iam stuck with them because they have no specialist to put my implant it's about to be1 year in now... Update I have my dental implant impression and works since 2020 and now it's about to be 2022. They have made 4 appointments with me and they have missed it, Due to not having proper doctors to put in my implant because the Dr. Left or fired. Needless to say I have moved during those time and live 2 hours from bayonne, my implant was already order 8 months ago. The doctor who left them was DR. Park who's gave me my total price quote and now they say here is your final price that is 2,000. Dollars extra. Also my appoint was for Saturday they call me two day ago and say the owner is here and you need to come in on Friday because the dr. Is only in the office once a month. I have 3 children with me with out a babysitters under short notice. " it's call little family dentistry and they only have 3 chairs at their waiting room". Those folks have been waiting for 2 hours plus with me..

I've been going to the little family dentistry since early spring 2021 for Invisaligns. My treatment started with Dr. Park and was told I'd be done by August 2021. My treatment was going super well in the beginning. However, it appears Dr. Park is no longer part of this office, so Dr. Little has taken over my treatment. Since then I've only seen her once since my appointments have been cancelled multiple times due to her not being in the office. I've been told I would receive a call back multiple times from the receptionist Evelyn to reschedule my cancelled appointment, but she never calls me back unless I follow up with her. Then my appointment gets pushed back another few weeks. This has happened several times already and it's super frustrating as it's already December 2021. This office needs to get it together.
