Dr. Kiser graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Medical Biology. He obtained his dental training from Case Western Reserve and his pediatric dental residency was completed at the Eastman Institute of Oral Health in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Kiser served as a General Dentist in the US Navy for 5 years and deployed three times with the US Marines in support of our troops and people around the world. Dr. Kisers passion is working with children, especially children with special needs and medically compromised care. Dr. Kiser has extensive training in operating room techniques and sedation dentistry and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Dr. Kisers Vision for Little Chompers is simple. Our greatest desire is to BLESS CHILDREN! Dr. Kiser and his wife Melissa have 6 children of their own, and he treats each child as his own. EDUCATION is extremely important to Dr. Kiser. With 12 years of higher education, Dr. Kiser realizes it takes a village to raise our children. Little Chompers is committed to educating parents and communities, so dont be surprised to see him at a local school or public library. Dr Kiser would also like to see the elimination of dental caries and the improvement of all his little chompers oral hygiene.
Originally from the Philippines, I received my dental degree in 1986 from the University of the East College of Dentistry, obtained my first dental license from the state of California in 1991. In 1996, I decided to go back to school to receive my certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. I practiced pediatric dentistry in Irvine, CA until our relocation to Kansas in 2001. In 2002, I started teaching at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry in the Pediatric Dentistry Department where I am currently a full time Clinical Associate Professor. While working as a full-time faculty at the dental school, I completed their International DDS Program and received my dental degree from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2005.
I hold dental licenses and specialty licenses for Pediatric Dentistry in Missouri and Kansas, have been a board-certified pediatric dentist since 2006 and have active memberships with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry College of Diplomates, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Missouri Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Kansas City Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Rho Chapter.
I love participating in dental related community service projects including Give Kids A Smile, Team Smiles, MoMOM, and the JayDoc Free Clinic in KCK where I was awarded the 2019 Volunteer Dentist of the Year.
Her favorite part of working here is the kids. She loves how they are so pure and the fact that the world hasnt tainted them yet. This reminds her daily that the world is still good! Her favorite way to spend her Saturday is on her motorcycle or spending time with her 3 dogs, Paxton, Paisley and Gracie. Her favorite part of working here is the before and after when the teeth are brushed. The patient is always so surprised to see their new smile and thats just the best feeling seeing their face light up! Brianna has a daughter and when she laughs, it melts Briannas heart. Briannas favorite part of the day is when she comes home from work, her daughter always runs to the door and yells, mom!. Three random facts about Brianna is that shes left handed, she hates scary movies, and her favorite color is burgundy.
Her favorite part about her job is caring for the little ones. She said It is very rewarding to know youve turn the life in a positive way by educating kids about dental care and caring for their needs. Helping kids overcome fears of dental work is by far the best part of working with the kids. Bri and her husband have 2 huskies, Bailey and Jax. She loves when she comes home from work and those two are wagging their tails ready to see her! On the weekends she loves doing anything outside like going to wineries, going to the lake, floating, bonfires, or making memories with friends and family.
Her favorite part of working here is the people she works with. She describes the office as always so fun and everyone gets along so well! Favorite decade is the 80s because she loves the music. Most of her favorite songs are from the 80s and it was a big portion of her growing up years.! Her favorite way to spend a Saturday is just being outside with her husband. Her and her husband have three children, two boys and one girl. They also have two dogs!
Her favorite part about working here is the rewarding factor when she is able to gain the trust of a patient, especially the younger ones. Trust is huge in a dental office! Lauren is a boy mom with two boys, ages six and one. They also have a 12 year old black lab named Milo who completes the family. Three things you may not know about Lauren is, she plays the violin, she has jumped out of an airplane, and she was once life flighted to KU Medical Center.
Her favorite part about working here is the interactions between the patients and parents. Being able to bless children in need and get to know them makes her heart very happy! Rhiannon has 3 of her own children and they are her world. Everything they do makes her smile. You can find Rhiannon playing board games with her family or just spending time with them without electronics on the weekends. It is so nice to unplug with family over the weekend!
Her favorite part about her job is getting to meet different people and hear their stories. She loves how funny and brutally honest kids can be. On Saturdays youll find her doing anything outside, especially going for walks and playing frisbee. She also enjoys going to antique stores in making quilts on the weekend. Three things you might not know about Sadie is that she took 12 years of piano lessons, shes been making quilts and she was eight and she has at least 40 of them, and she brushes her dogs teeth every day because 80% of dogs have gingivitis or gum disease by the age of three.
Her favorite part of the job is providing a dental environment that kids are excited to return to, molding their experiences from a young age to help them achieve lifelong oral health. Tanna and her husband Matt have two beautiful babies, one daughter and one son. They are the joys of her life! On the weekend you can find her family going out to breakfast and spending time at the lake. Things you might not know about Tanna is her favorite color is black, she loves thrift shopping, and she has an obsession with buying shoes for her family.
Courtneys favorite part of her job here is working with the kids every day! She said that earning their trust and educating them on dental health is so rewarding. Its so fun to see the patients get excited about their oral health! Courtney has 2 boys named Conway & Cruz. 3 things you may not know about Courtney is that she married her high school sweetheart, she was born and raised in Leavenworth, and everyones name (including pets) in her family starts with a C (which goes back to her great Grandpa. How cool!
Jordans favorite part of her job is being goofy and telling jokes to her little patients! She said that making them laugh and smile makes my job worthwhile. Who wouldnt want a job where you get to hang out with the coolest kids all day?! Her favorite decade must be the 2000s. She loves everything about those years between the music, fashion, and movies. When shes at home, you can find her cuddling with her 4 cats! They even tell her when its time to cuddle.
Kaylies favorite part of her job is interacting with everyone and seeing the kids smile on their face! She loves when they get to use their token and getting their prize. Kaylie and her two pups love to go on trial and go swimming. They also give the best snuggles! Her dream Saturday would be doing anything outside. Kaylie loves hikes, kayaking, dog parks and swimming. Three things you may not know about her is that she was a nanny for 3 years, she has lived in Leavenworth her entire life and she has never had a cavity!
Her favorite part of the job is working alongside the best coworkers. Susan loves the work environment here at Little Chompers. They all enjoy serving their patients the best they can day in and day out! She has 2 children, 4 grandkids, and another one due in January. Susan and her husband have been married for 31 years! Her favorite way to spend a Saturday is doing a DYI project with her husband and spending time with the grandkids.
Taygans favorite part about her job here is interacting with the kiddos and making them laugh and smile! Her ideal Saturday would be at the race track or hanging out with her family at the lake.
