Dr. Jennifer Lo, or Dr. Jen, completed her pre-doctoral education with a Bachelors of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She then earned her Masters in Public Health from the University of Southern California to supplement her west coast schooling. After that, she added six more years training on the east coast, attending New York University, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery directly followed by her specialty training in pediatric dentistry. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Monterey Bay Dental Society, and American Academic of Pediatric Dentistry.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Jen spends her time teaching pediatric dentistry to dental students at the University of Southern California. As part of the division of Dental Public Health and Pediatric Dentistry, she supervises comprehensive dental care to underserved areas all over Southern California.
Dr. Jacqueline Nguyen, or Dr. Jackie, completed her undergraduate and dental graduate studies at the University of the Pacific. She went on to complete a year of advanced dental training in Fresno, CA serving both Community Regional Medical Center and VA Central California hospitals. Realizing her love for working with children, she completed pediatric residency at NYU Lutheran in Hawaii. Board-certified and on a mission to fight sugar bugs, Dr. Jackie is thrilled to be back in California at Little Bristles.
Dr. Jackie is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Monterey Bay Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. In her free time, you can catch Dr. Jackie exploring the outdoors of the Monterey Peninsula, whipping up some baked goods to share, or foraging for mushrooms and errant golf balls with her husband Noah.

We've been going to Little Bristles for 4+ years, we are never disappointed in the care that is provided to our children. We personally love to see Dr. Jacqueline she is always so sweet and explains whatever is happening inside our little ones mouth. We also love seeing our favorite RDA Gricelanda, always makes the kids feel comfortable while doing cleanings.

When we walked in we were greeted by the friendly ladies at the front desk. We waited in the cute and clean waiting room then headed to the back where they put a movie of his choice on. The entire environment is set up kid welcoming instead of an intimidating dental office. The Dr came in and evaluated him then went over our options. Everything was smooth sail and meant to fit our needs +wants as parents. Our son was relaxed the entire time and appreciated the toy reward and balloon in the end. A really pleasant experience for us all. This is definitely our treating office moving forward. Take your littles ones if you want quality care, you'll be glad you did.

It was my son's first time at the dentist and Little Bristles was so welcoming. Staff made the process so easy and pain free. I love that the facility is so modern and my son enjoyed watching his favorite show while being in the hot seat. Overall a great experience. Can't wait for the next visit.

While Little Bristles did a great job with our 2yr old. They have been OBNOXIOUSLY pestering us DAILY since the appointment to leave them a review. Once is ok, a reminder a few days later maybe.. But this has been truly excessive

My 6 yr old, ASD, daughter was a hot mess when we got there. She was nervous about the "spicy" toothpaste. When we got back to our room, Jazz made her feel comfortable. Explaining and allowing her to touch the suction tip with her finger. She let her chose her "toothpaste" flavor and also let her taste it first. She even got a pano done! Huge success. Next stop....sealants!

I took my son here for a check up and X-rays after having a little hard time at the other dentist I took him too, and I'm so glad I did! Amazing place with amazing people! I recommend this place hands down! I won't be going anywhere else. The atmosphere is catered to children as well which I believe truly helped my son feel at ease. All the staff were great and friendly and the doctor was beyond fantastic!
