I am passionate about children and I believe strongly that establishing a positive relationship with a pediatric dentist can set up a child for a lifetime of healthy smiles. As a pediatric dentist, I have worked hard to create an environment that is welcoming. Along with my amazing team, I want to ensure that we are building friendships and trust with children and their parents.

I grew up in Bird City, a small town in the Northwest corner of Kansas. After graduating with high honors at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where I achieved my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

As specialists, Pediatric Dentists have additional education specific to the needs of children. I received substantial training in behavior management, hospital dentistry under general anesthesia, and caring for children with special healthcare needs while completing my pediatric dental residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Childrens Mercy Hospital & Medical Center.

I am a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I am also an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Kansas Dental Association. I have owned Little Apple Pediatric Dentistry since 2016.

In my personal life, I am married to my husband Kevin. We love to travel, go on hikes, and be in the company of family and friends, especially when we get a chance to go to the lake. In the summertime, Kevin and I love taking Jeep rides with the top down.

I am also a member at St. Isidores Catholic Church and am on the Friends of the Sunset Zoo Board. My desire is to support the wonderful community of Manhattan. Even though I will always be a Husker fan at heart, I am sure you will occasionally see me wearing purple and cheering for the Wildcats!

Carol, her husband, their two kids, and Bailey (their Golden Retriever) enjoy playing tennis, disk golf, and pickleball. The family enjoys attending sporting events or concerts, but they also find time to fit in a family film like The Fox and the Hound, Carols favorite childrens movie. When asked what she loves most about her job, she says she likes hearing the staff interact with the kids and the many lifelong friendships she has made with co-workers throughout the years.

Macey and her husband spend a lot of time watching their three kids sporting events. If they are not at a game, you might find them hunting, fishing, boating, or traveling. The family has two dogs, Trigger and Tess, that love going on walks on the trails around town. Macey says her favorite part of her job is having great conversations with all the awesome kids! She says in no other field can you talk about video games, cartoons, shoes/clothes, superheroes, and princesses all in one sentence!

Tristen grew up about 45 minutes away in Clay Center. Outside of the office she is very active and plays softball and volleyball on local rec teams. During the summer you can find her out on the lake boating and wakeboarding or walking her dog Sasha around town. Tristen is a big Wildcats fan and tries to attend as many K-State games as possible with friends and family. She and her husband, Logan, are expecting their first child in June of 2021! She says the part of her job she loves the most is getting to see all of the kiddos and their smiling faces.

Jessica comes to us from Southeast Kansas. She and her husband lead a busy life watching their three kids play sports. When shes not in the stands at one of her kids games, you might find her at Bill Snyder Family Stadium cheering on the Wildcats. Outside of sporting events, Jessica enjoys bowling, playing card games, or eating and shopping around town. The thing she loves most about her job is that everyday she has the opportunity to create a great dental experience for kids and help establish lifelong habits. She says that kids are so impressionable and trusting, and she loves that she gets to be a part of their dental visits.

Miranda grew up in the Southwestern Kansas town of Garden City. For now, she and her husband take care of their two dogs, Tink and Koda, but she can see a few kids in their future. When shes not in the office Miranda likes to spend her free time painting, hanging out with her family, camping at Tuttle Creek, or riding side by sides at Randolph. The thing she loves most about work is the environment and her amazing co-workers. She also appreciates the imaginations of all the young souls.

Ariel found her way to Manhattan all the way from the Big Easy, New Orleans. She, her husband, and their son pay homage to her hometown in their love for the Disney movie, The Princess and the Frog. The family has two pets, a cat named Oliver and a dog named Robber. In her free time, Ariel enjoys reading, cooking, camping, and playing at Cico Park with her son. When asked what she loves about her job, she said its the ability to help kiddos have a happy and healthy relationship with dentistry.

Lauren grew up in Lebo, KS, about 10 miles east of Emporia. When Lauren is not at Little Apple Pediatric Dentistry, you might find her shopping at the town center, riding scooters with her friends, or curled up on the couch watching her favorite movie, the live-action Beauty & the Beast. Her dog, Tippie, cat, Willis, and even Bert, the fish, are her movie-watching buddies! Lauren loves the fun atmosphere of Little Apple, along with her caring co-workers. But even more, she enjoys spending her day with kids, helping them have a positive experience at the dentist.
