We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, major credit cards, and Care Credit.
Dr. Kenneth Ness graduated from Dassel-Cokato High School and completed his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Physiology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Ness completed his graduate degree in dentistry from the University of MN in 1984 and has also completed additional training in laser applications for dentistry. Upon completion of dental school, he had the opportunity to purchase the dental practice that he was a patient of while growing up in the Dassel-Cokato area. Dr. Ness commitment is to bring the best that dentistry has through technology, for the well being of the smiles of the community and surrounding areas he serves.

I was really impressed with the knowledge and skill of dental hygenist, Sue, efficiency of Dr. Ness and the friendliness of the staff. Haven't received a bill yet so we will see after that, but until then, my teeth have never felt cleaner after a cleaning! Thank you Litchfield Dental.

When I say I'm impressed and appreciative with Litchfield Dental, that's an understatement for what I experienced today. A few months ago, I visited a different dental business and needed a filling replaced. They replaced it, but unfortunately the bite was off and I was in pretty severe pain even 2 weeks after. They then replaced the filling but still, the pain persisted. They did a few corrections on the bite, it was good for about 2 days but again, the pain persisted. Worse than before I had the filling replaced. Now I couldn't even chew anything on that side of my mouth. I had a cleaning in a few months so I decided to just forget going back for another correction, mostly out of fear because they mentioned if this last correction didn't help that I would likely need a crown. At my cleaning appt about 6 months later, they examined the tooth with a few tests and concluded that a root may be cracked and I'd need a root canal and a crown. This is roughly around 2k without insurance so I was pretty devastated after spending a couple hundred on the initial fillings. With determination that perhaps they could be wrong, I decided to reach out to Litchfield Dental for a second opinion and another quote. Dr Ness saw me today, and did similar tests to examine my tooth. While he wasn't absolute that I didn't need this work previously mentioned, he had a few other suggestions to try first. He took a bit more off the tooth and when I bit down, I instantly knew I made the right choice by going there. The bite didn't hurt near as bad anymore and I was able chew (soft) food on this side again. We still have to determine if this will be the solution, and if not, a slightly different route will be taken. But all in all, I truly appreciate what happened today and look forward to every appointment thereafter. Thank you, Dr. Ness and Litchfield Dental.

The dentist was honest, as far as what was wrong with my teeth. I liked that. He explained to me what had to be done, to stop the pain. Very socialable, and seemed to be honest.
