Dr. Lisa Parker is from Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She graduated with honors from Southeast Missouri State University in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Parker obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1983. After one year of general practice in St. Louis, Missouri, she then completed a two-year residency in orthodontics at St. Louis University.
In 1986, Dr. Parker joined the practice of Robert Day, D.D.S. to be the first female orthodontist in St. Joseph, Missouri. After more than 10 years of practice in St. Joseph, Dr. Parker continues to be a leader in progressive orthodontic care. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and the Missouri Dental Association. She gives back to the community by helping all the local high schools with fundraisers, donating to school auctions and sponsoring several ball teams.
Dr. Parker's mission is to provide Patient-Centered Orthodontic Care. She has dedicated herself to the highest quality care and services. Dr. Parker and her team undertake this effort while being an ethical and honest practice with the highest integrity in dealing with patients, the community, suppliers, and most of all, with her employees.

I would leave a 0 if I could. I just called the office to set up a consultation. The lady was rude from the get-go The call started with I would like to set up a consultation. Her immediate response was well we are booked as far as I can see you'll have to give me a minute. As she gave me a day at the end of April at 9:30 in the morning I explained that I have in high schooler that cannot miss school. She's so rudely stated that they don't do consultations late as I explained to her I can't justify pulling my son out of school for cosmetic reasons. Obviously not a very kid-friendly place. Nor a very understanding place I was shut down before I could even explain anything with the rudeness! I really hope this lady was just having a bad day because I have never been treated like that when asking for a consultation for my business.

Dr. Parker is the best! She has an excellent chairside manner and knows how to put her patients at ease. She is also meticulous about how the quality of care that she provides. I highly recommend her. She did my braces and now she is doing my daughter's. Love her!
