I do whatever it takes to provide the best quality care and service to our patients and their families. With more than 24 years of experience in the dental field, I am able to address many of the questions and concerns our patients have regarding their treatment. I enjoy building relationships with our patients and seeing them become part of our orthodontic family. Its very rewarding to watch them leave with wonderful smiles.
The greatest part of my job is getting to meet new people and seeing our patients happy, beautiful smiles the day their braces come off. Not only do I love our patients, but my coworkers are amazing, too. Dr. Stefen truly cares about every patient and is an incredible orthodontist who makes positive changes in lives.
I have been give a great opportunity to work side by side with one of the finest professionals in the area: Dr. Lippitz! I always wanted to work with children and what better place? Its been over 25 years so far, and not a day goes by that Im not thankful for the privilege to make my patients smile.
I am the consummate student: I take every opportunity, not only to expand my knowledge, but participate in advancements in orthodontics. As the president of the PRIMUS Study Group, I am able to interact with and learn from premier orthodontists from around the country. I am also a frequent guest lecturer at my alma mater, the University of Iowa, which is regarded as having the number-one orthodontic program in the country. My dedication and commitment to providing my patients with the most current knowledge about their treatments is what inspires me to be an eternal student.
A native of Glencoe, IL, I have lived in Wrigleyville for the past 26 years and love it! I have an incredibly supportive wife named Kristi and we have four beautiful children: Belle, Emmet, Lev, and Aviva. I love any activity that I can share with my wife and kids. As a family, we enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, sledding, snowball fights, and making snowmen. If it involves fresh air and my family, I am all the way in! I also have a deep love of music from all genres, so I feel fortunate to live in a place with such rich and abundant live music.
Dr. Lippitz is a member of theAmerican Association ofOrthodontists,Midwestern Society of Orthodontists,Illinois Society of Orthodontists, and the PRIMUS Study Group. He serves as the current vice president of the PRIMUS Study Group where he lectures regularly, and has served as president of the Illinois Society of Orthodontists. He has also served as an assistant professor at the Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine at the University of Illinois, a former chairman of the Orthodontic Section of the Illinois Board of Examiners, past president of the Illinois Society of Orthodontics, and the past president of Northwestern University faculty advisory board.
Dr. Lippitz is an Invisalign Certified Provider, specializes in TMJ treatments, and works with both children and adults. He has been practicing in the greater Chicago area since 1956. His work has been published inNorthwestern University Research Review. Dr. Lippitzs philosophy is to create anatomic, physiological, and psychological improvements for patients in need. He enjoys the happiness expressed by patients and the joy of spending time with them.
Dr. Lippitz is a native of Chicago, and has lived in Glencoe since 1970. He has one daughter and three sons: Deena, Brad, Jonathan, and Stefen. Between these four, Dr. Lippitz has nine grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Lippitz enjoys running, fishing, and studying a wide range of topics such as Biblical studies, advanced physics, philosophy, world languages, music, theater, and numismatics. He is currently involved in the Northwestern University Dental Alumni Association.

Dr. Lippitz and his practice were recommended to us by our dentist, and we couldn't be happier with the experience thus far. My daughter was very nervous going in to her eval, not knowing what to expect, but everyone was gentle and welcoming from the moment we stepped in the door. Dr. Lippitz could not have been more friendly, and put my daughter at ease right away. Their office is up to date and clean, and made all of the measuring for the appliance suggested very easy. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone.

I highly recommend Dr. Lippitz! This man saved my smile. I had a terrible experience with a previous ortho who just couldn't figure it out and after 2 years left my bite even worse than when I started. Dr. Lippitz was completely honest and upfront with his capabilities and what I could expect from treatment. I was not disappointed. My teeth look amazing and now I actually have a functional bite. If you're looking for a highly competent and honest ortho, look no further.

Our sons LOVE Lippitz Orthodontics! Mom and Dad love this place. Here's a little bit of the why: ;) - The office staff is AMAZING. Very fun, kind and knowledgeable. - Dr. Lippitz is SO good at what he does in many respects. He is not only a phenomenal doctor but he is also a bit of a life coach. Our younger son is very anxious. After only a consultation, he came back home consistently taking care of his teeth hygiene. Our older son is very diligent with his braces, both miracles and reflections of Dr. Lippitz (and his fantastic assistants). They are the A Team at Lippitz.

I love Dr. Lippitz! I went to him many years ago for braces. I have a permanent retainer that recently broke(been in for 20 yrs). He got me in the same day! Fixed within 10 minutes! Fast, quality service! I highly recommend Dr. Lippitz and their team!

I was skeptical about treatment as an adult but I'm so happy I followed through. Dr.Lippitz was very thorough and great at explaining the importance of treatment. The office was very friendly and accommodating to my work schedule.
