Dr. Grossmans passion is outstanding dentistry. A native of the Philadelphia area, Dr. Grossman graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1991. He then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. In 1996, he established Lionville Family Dentistry, and has provided quality dental care to residents of Exton, Pennsylvania, and surrounding areas ever since. He is a Fellow in theAcademy of General Dentistry, a designation conferred upon dentists who have completed continuing education courses well beyond what is required to maintain dental practice privileges in Pennsylvania.
Additionally, Dr. Grossman volunteers regularly in our own backyard. For 17 years he has provided dental care to an underserved population of patients through Community Volunteers in Medicine(CVIM) in West Chester and Avon Grove, Pennsylvania. These clinics serve Chester County residents who would otherwise have no access to dental care.
Dr. Grossman has received a number of awards, including a nomination in the Consumers Research Councils Guide to Americas Top Dentists, which is a non-profit agency that accepts no sponsorships or contributions in order to ensure unbiased selections. Jessica has been with our team for seven years. She is diligent in making sur our patients feel comfortable with their dental procedures and that they have the knowledge and information they need to understand their oral health and make decisions regarding their treatments. Her loves the relationships she has developed with our patients and their families over the years.
Jessica attended the University of Pittsburgh for her education. She has three daughters and a yellow lab. Outside the office, she loves to travel whenever possible and enjoys spending time with her family.
Laura joined our team in 2017. She enjoys engaging her patients by educating them on the latest findings in dentistry and home care, and by explaining procedures further to clarify their questions and address any concerns they may have. Laura enjoys the positive atmosphere of our office, and appreciates that Dr. Grossman takes the time to explain procedures to patients so that they leave feeling respected and happy.
Laura graduated magna cum laude from the Montgomery Colorado Community College Dental Hygiene Program with an Associate in Science degree. She served as class president and was a member of the honor society. Laura is a classically trained flutist, and taught the flute while in school. She currently sings and play guitar in a rock band.
Sara has been with our team for three years. She works hard to make sure that our patients feel that they can trust us, and that we will do the best we can for them. Sara loves seeing out patients smile, and misses seeing them in between visits. One of the reasons Sara enjoys working at Lionville Family Dentistry is our amazing team. Dr. Grossman is a great person to work with, and genuinely cares for his patients and his staff, and her co-workers are like her sisters. Sara states that They care for each person that comes to the door and are very personal with all our patients.
Dr. Grossman volunteers regularly in our own backyard. For 10 consecutive years each November, we pack and ship our own supplies and equipment, and close our practice in order that ALL in our office can travel to rural areas of Jamaica for 1 weeks to serve people who, in many cases have, never seen a dentist before. We team up with both American and international dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff members to set up clinics in remote locations throughout Jamaica in order to recreate smiles, alleviate pain and prevent/eliminate dental disease. We contribute all proceeds from our tooth whitening services to supplement our travel costs. First visit to this practice for consult on implants and bridge. Everyone at the practice was very accommodating. They even scheduled me for a same day appointment. Dr. Grossman performed an initial exam and will be coordinating with my periodontist on next steps. My wife has been a patient for 30 years so I have every confidence in Dr. Grossman to take excellent care of me.

I felt so safe and comfortable today. The hygienist explained all the safety protocol in place including hands free check in, UV air cleaners, air purifiers everywhere, a vacuum to pull droplets out of the air and more. The experience had me bragging to my family how they exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Lionville Family Dentistry!

Just had my first teeth cleaning since COVID 19. I was amazed at the care and precautions that Dr. Grossman has done to assure his staff and his patients the absolute best environment. This actually comes as no surprise as Dr. Grossman has always operated at the highest level of professionalism. He is the most caring and kind dentist I have ever experienced. Before I moved to Chester County I had an amazing dentist. When I moved out here I had a very hard time finding a dentist I liked. Then I discovered this practice because the hygienist from the dental practice I went to for years in Bryn Mawr lives in Chester County and works for Lionville Family Dentistry. Dr Grossmsn is amazing and I think this is the best run practice I have ever been a patient of. The office is also super clean and they have excellent COVID19 best practices.
