The orthodontic profession is one of the most rewarding careers a person could have. The act of creating a beautiful, functional smile, and seeing how that affects a persons well-being, is deeply satisfying.

As an orthodontist, I enjoy the process of evaluating, planning, and seeing a patients smile develop as treatment progresses. Each person changes and grows throughout the process, as they gain confidence in and comfort with their appearance. From visit-to-visit, whether a child, teen, or adult, my team and I see people acting and looking happier. When they begin to smile and laugh without hiding their teeth, were all grinning with them!

I feel very fortunate to live and work in the West Georgia area, where I interact with the people I treat both in the office and in the community. As I have practiced in Carrollton since 1986, I have watched many former patients thrive as they begin their careers and start their families. Now, I am privileged to treat the sons and daughters of some of my first patients and reconnect with their parents!

I chose healthcare because I wanted to do something that directly improved peoples lives, and I wanted the opportunity to get to know my patients, too. Orthodontics has certainly fulfilled those desires and made my career better than I could have ever imagined.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Auburn University in 1981 and obtained my Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 1984 at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. Next came my orthodontic residency at the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry, which I completed in 1986.

Following my residency, Dr. Bruner invited me to join him in his practice this practice and I have been here ever since. His guidance and friendship were instrumental in my development as an orthodontist. When he retired, in 1997, it was bittersweet for both of us!

I strive to stay current with all the exciting new technology that makes patients treatment more comfortable and convenient. I am constantly attending seminars and webinars to keep up with the ever-changing world of orthodontics, and then incorporate the best advancements into patient care.

Settling in Carrollton, in 1986, and making it my home, has been the most wonderful experience. My wife Lori and I have been married for almost 40 years. We raised our two sons here: our eldest, Daniel, still resides in Carrollton and our younger lives in Birmingham. Both boys are now engaged and we are excited to see our family expand! Lori and I also have three dogs Max, whos a rescue,Cooper, whos a Pomeranian and Dash, an Icelandic Sheepdog - who bring us joy every day.

My favorite pastime, outside of being with family and friends, is working on my farm and driving the tractor. I also dabble in beekeeping and enjoy working in my garden where Im creating a natural environment for the deer, turkey, and other wildlife.

Each team member is highly-skilled, talented, and a consummate professional. Collectively, they have over 160 years of experience! They are equally friendly, warm, and compassionate, always putting patient wellbeing at the forefront of all we do.

I started in the field in 2019, am a certified dental assistant with Radiology and Ortho Certification, and joined the practice in 2020. I assist Dr. Lindsey during procedures, bond braces, perform scans and take X-rays, sterilize tools and equipment, manage all retainers and aligners for our office and, most importantly make patients feel welcome and comfortable. This is a friendly office and we really care for our patients like family!

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, and photography. I also like painting, playing cards, going to the beach.

Family is important to me. Ive been happily married for almost 40 years and we have one son, Tyler. He is married and has two sons; I love spending time with my grandsons and traveling with family and friends. I also love flowers and gardening. My parents were florists and I spent a lot of time helping them in their shop when I was growing up.

My career started in 1996, in general dentistry, and I joined Dr. Lindseys practice and team in 2013. In addition to assisting Dr. Lindsey with various procedures I provide patient care, education, and encouragement. This is a professional and caring team, with all of us working as one to keep our patients comfortable and happy while changing their smiles!

I started in the dental field in 1979 and hold dental and orthodontic auxiliary certifications. My time with this practice began in August 1984, with Dr. Bruner, and now I have the pleasure of working for Dr. Lindsey. As the office manager I answer calls, coordinate patient treatment, and handle billing and insurance filing. Everything I do is focused on keeping us organized and running smoothly, so we can provide our patient family with a great orthodontic experience!

Church, family, my animals, shopping, cooking, sewing, and antiquing are some of the things I love. I have been married to a great guy for almost 40 years and we are blessed with a beautiful daughter.

I came this practice in July 1980 with Dr. Bruner, who taught me all the skills for ortho. Then Dr. Lindsey joined our office in 1986. Needless to say, I have been very blessed to have had two awesome bosses for all these years. I assist Dr. Lindsey with patient care, take X-rays, photos, scans, and records, and change archwires. I also provide brushing and oral hygiene instructions and make sure our patients are comfortable. Were all friends at our office and we all help one other so we can provide each patient with a great treatment experience and incredible results!

Much of my free time is spent with family and friends. My high school sweetheart, Craig, and I have been married for over 40 years. Our daughter, Olivia, is married and has three children. I enjoy time with my three grandkids, love traveling (mostly to the beach), hanging out with my life group at Midway Baptist Church, and working out at the gym.

Dr. David Bruner established our Carrollton orthodontic office in 1972, building a stellar reputation for providing quality, individual care. He was joined in practice by Dr. Lindsey in 1986 and the two doctors practiced collaboratively until Dr. Bruners retirement in 1997.

Dr. Lindsey has practiced orthodontics since 1986, when he completed his residency at the University of Kentucky and came to work with Dr. Bruner. He stays current on the latest orthodontic developments through active continuing education and incorporates the best into the practice and each patients treatment.

In addition to his clinical excellence, Dr. Lindsey is friendly and approachable. He enjoys getting to know his patients, personally, and looks forward to being part of your journey to a functional, healthy, and beautifully confident smile!

Metal braces are a popular choice over clear aligners (clear braces) since parents don't have to remind their child to wear them. Metal braces require good hygiene and care throughout the whole treatment.

Clear Aligners are a great option for patients who have already had braces and are looking for 'touch ups' and their teeth have shifted a little over time. For more complex problems, a comprehensive treatment plan would require the use ofTraditional Metal Braces.
