Dr. Lindsay Freed has dentistry in her blood! She is thrilled to own and operate an independent dental practice in the Cedar Mill neighborhood which she grew up in, attending school at Oak Hills Grade School, Meadow Park Intermediate, and Jesuit High, and where she continues to reside with her family.

After graduating from the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts, Dr. Lindsay spent a year volunteering as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Following her year of service and before attending dental school, Dr. Lindsay worked in the high tech industry, the dental field and lived overseas in Alexandria, Egypt.

Dr. Lindsay attended the Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry, and earned the Student Leadership Award in her graduating class. Dr. Lindsay is a member of the Oregon Dental Association, Washington County Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry. She greatly values continuing education and is also a member of the Sunset Study Club. Dr. Lindsay has volunteered with the Oregon Dental Foundations Tooth Taxi, Give Kids a Smile Day, and the Mission of Mercy, among others.

In her limited free time, Dr. Lindsay is an avid reader and has been a member of the same book club for over 10 years. She also enjoys exercising, exploring the Portland outdoors with her family and visiting the Oregon Coast.

Over 40 years ago, Dr. Randall Freed established Cornell Family Dental in Cedar Mill where he also resides. He chose private practice after completing his general practice residency with the U.S. Public Health Service in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from Oregon State University, Dr. Freed earned his DMD degree with high honors from the University of Oregon Dental School (now OHSU).

Dr. Freed has served as Washington County Dental Society president and as an Oregon Dental Association trustee. He has also been a volunteer for many other industry wide organizations and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry with Fellowship status. To earn Fellowship status, Dr. Freed completed over 500 hours of continuing education, passed a rigorous exam, and he continues to prioritize the use of the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. He has participated in the Donated Dental Services Program providing dental care for patients with disabilities, elderly and mentally compromised patients. Dr. Freed has always placed a high priority on continuing education, regularly attending a wide variety of study clubs and courses.

As a longtime resident of the Cedar Mill area, Dr. Freed married his high school sweetheart, Marsha, and has three daughters who all live in Portland with their families. He thoroughly enjoys the time he spends with his six grandchildren!

Amy has worked for us as a hygienist for twenty years. The thing she really loves about the job is the personal approach we take in our office. Amy is amazing at not only chatting with patients and helping them feel comfortable but also at remembering them and developing long-term relationships.

Some other lives shes changed are those of her family. She is married to her husband, Joe, and together they are raising their son, Noah, who is twelve. They also have two grown kids: Karah, who is eighteen, and Kaelynn, who is twenty. Whenever Amy doesnt have her hands full with those four, she enjoys cooking, gardening, shopping, and reading.

Dani is one of our registered dental hygienists. She has been with our practice since September 2021, and she worked hard to get here! Dani has a bachelors of science in public health with a minor in health & wellness coaching in addition to her hygiene degree.

Dani is committed to treating her patients based on their own individual needs, supporting her co-workers, and, of course, giving excellent patient care. Dani likes being a part of our practice because of the confidence she has that our team is providing the best overall care for patientsfrom practical and technical skills to ensuring patient comfort.

Outside of her time in our office, Dani enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs. The more time she spends with family the bettereven going all the way to England to visit her husbands family as often as they can! Dani is a passionate reader, with an interest in a wide variety of genres from health and wellness to a good fiction series.

Val is an experienced registered dental hygienist that joined our practice in July of 2021. Shes new to us, but not new to dental hygieneshe has been in the industry for thirty-seven years, so you know you are in good hands with Val!

In addition to her dental hygiene expertise, Val is also a massage therapist with a specialty in headaches, TMJ-D, and repetitive use injuries of the upper body. She loves getting to know her patients and making sure they feel comfortable and well-informed.

Vals goal in joining our team is to become a familiar and welcoming face to the rest of our team and our patients. Val feels lucky to work with such nice co-workers, and we feel lucky to have Val and her many years of knowledge on our team!

When Val is not supporting our patients, she can be found riding her bicycle, doing yoga, or going camping. When the weather is nice, catch her out on the lake with her stand up paddleboard! Val is the mother of four and grandmother of six.

When Lisa isnt in the office, helping patients and other members of the team, she loves the outdoors. Lisa is an avid outdoorsman. She enjoys getting outside to go hunting and fishing. Lisa is happily married, and is the mother of two and grandmother of three!

When Katie isnt at work, shes probably in the kitchen trying out new recipes, or tending to her plants. She also enjoys any time spent camping in the great outdoors or travelling to new places. Katie loves spending time with her partner, Jacob, as well as their three cats and two turtles!

Kaleelah has been our hygiene coordinator / dental assistant since September 2021. Kaleelah has an impressive resume. She has a bachelors degree in biohealth science with a pre-dental option, as well as two minorsin chemistry and business management! Kaleelah definitely knows what she is doing.

Kaleelahs goal for the practice is to be of assistance to the rest of the team in order to support each patients needs. She is planning on attending dental school herself, and starting her own practice just like Dr. Brown and Dr. Freed! After dental school she is interested in pursuing further advanced dental education in general dentistry or an oral surgery program.

If Kaleelah isnt on duty here, she is probably spending time with her family! Her mom, dad, and older brother are her best friends and favorite travel buddies. Kaleelah loves sports and anything that keeps her active, as well as cooking and trying new recipes.

Victoria has a gift for comfortable conversation, making her invaluable at our front desk. She has been a front office assistant since July 2020. You can rest assured that shell treat you just like family from the moment you set foot through our door.

Victorias work experience comes from a little bit of everywhere. She was born and raised in the United Kingdom, and since starting her family has lived in both Oregon and the Netherlands. She and her husband Dave have two kidsLuca and Rubyas well as a labrador named Harvey.

If she sounds like a real go-getter already, you havent seen anything yet! Her whole family is athletic and active. They enjoy exploring new places together, and they absolutely love going to the beach, whether it be at a lake, a river, or an ocean. Luca is a competitive swimmer, and Ruby tries just about every sport available.

Amanda started with us as a Patient Care Coordinator in October 2020. We love how willing she is to help wherever shes needed, and to learn anything the job requires. Her friendly face makes the front office feel more like home than a waiting room.

As a native from The Pacific Northwest, Amanda loves Oregonespecially during the fall! In 2016, she graduated from Portland State University where she earned a BS in Community Health, with a minor in Aging Services. Were excited to see her experience make our dental office a better place.

When shes not welcoming people at our front desk, Amanda loves to bake, hike, work on DIY projects, and drink all the coffee she can get her hands on. Shes also a huge Disney fan. Much like the stories she enjoys on the silver screen, Amanda had her own fairy tale romance. She married her high school sweetheart, and together with their cat, Princess, theyre working on happily ever after.
