Dr. Lindsay received her dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, where she graduated first in her dental school class. She was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. She went on to complete a two-year residency and obtain a masters degree in orthodontics.
Dr. Lindsay is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Lindsay and her husband have deep roots in Clear Lake, since they both grew up in the area and graduated from Clear Lake High School. They are proud to make their home here, where they can raise their two daughters, Kate and Emily. Dr. Lindsay enjoys exercising, reading, and anything involving her children and family. She supports many local events and school programs, because she believes its important to give back to the community.
Dr. Magruder spent two summers working at Brigham and Womens Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston,where she conducted research in the field of molecular and cell biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, where she was awarded the prestigious William S. Kramer Award of Excellence. She completed an additional two years of training and obtained her certificate and masters degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the UT School of Dentistry.
Dr. Magruder is boardcertified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and she is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Ninth District Dental Society.

Alexis has been in the dental and orthodontic field for more than 20 years. She was a dental hygienist in the Army. She loves changing one smile at a time. Everyone she meets is family to her and she has never met a stranger. She is very passionate about every patient she meets. Dont tell Dr. Lindsay, but Alexis says, It just doesnt seem like work!
Roxanne loves spending time with family and friends. Roxanne is married to Edward and has two children and one beautiful grandson. Yes, I know, she doesnt look like a grandmother! She likes volunteering at the Houston Rodeo, quilting, and is even in a Jeep club! Who says getting older isnt fun!
Vanessa has been in the dental/orthodontic field for more than 20 years. She has one amazing son, Christian, who enjoys playing sports. They love going to concerts, camping, fishing, playing drums. and spending time with family. Vanessa finds joy in seeing our patientssmiles transform through their orthodontic journey.
I am a registered orthodontic assistant with 20 years of experience and I am happy to join Lindsay and Magruder Orthodontics. I have 4 kids whom I love dearly. Some of my hobbies are baking and watching movies with my family. With my experience and the love I have for what I do, I wish to bring you an excellent treatment.
