Dr. Lindsay received her dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, where she graduated first in her dental school class. She was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. She went on to complete a two-year residency and obtain a masters degree in orthodontics.
Dr. Lindsay is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Lindsay and her husband have deep roots in Clear Lake, since they both grew up in the area and graduated from Clear Lake High School. They are proud to make their home here, where they can raise their two daughters, Kate and Emily. Dr. Lindsay enjoys exercising, reading, and anything involving her children and family. She supports many local events and school programs, because she believes its important to give back to the community.
Dr. Magruder spent two summers working at Brigham and Womens Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston,where she conducted research in the field of molecular and cell biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, where she was awarded the prestigious William S. Kramer Award of Excellence. She completed an additional two years of training and obtained her certificate and masters degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the UT School of Dentistry.
Dr. Magruder is boardcertified by the American Board of Orthodontics, and she is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Ninth District Dental Society.

Alexis has been in the dental and orthodontic field for more than 20 years. She was a dental hygienist in the Army. She loves changing one smile at a time. Everyone she meets is family to her and she has never met a stranger. She is very passionate about every patient she meets. Dont tell Dr. Lindsay, but Alexis says, It just doesnt seem like work!
Roxanne loves spending time with family and friends. Roxanne is married to Edward and has two children and one beautiful grandson. Yes, I know, she doesnt look like a grandmother! She likes volunteering at the Houston Rodeo, quilting, and is even in a Jeep club! Who says getting older isnt fun!
Vanessa has been in the dental/orthodontic field for more than 20 years. She has one amazing son, Christian, who enjoys playing sports. They love going to concerts, camping, fishing, playing drums. and spending time with family. Vanessa finds joy in seeing our patientssmiles transform through their orthodontic journey.
I am a registered orthodontic assistant with 20 years of experience and I am happy to join Lindsay and Magruder Orthodontics. I have 4 kids whom I love dearly. Some of my hobbies are baking and watching movies with my family. With my experience and the love I have for what I do, I wish to bring you an excellent treatment. Kim has been in the orthodontic field for more than 20 years. She has a passion for interaction with patients and parents. She loves to see people coming in as shy caterpillars and transforming into blossoming butterflies. As she always says, a smile says a thousand words.
Lowanda is a registered and certified dental assistant with 30 years of experience. She has spent 20+ years in the orthodontic field, where she loves being involved in creating beautiful smiles. Lowanda joined our team in the summer of 2015.

I am not even a patient yet I am trying to transfer from another Ortho clinic and Roxanne is just a dream to work with. She went the extra mile to walk my old DDS office throught the reansfer process.<3

Dr. Lindsay and Dr. Magruder are the best doctor's I have ever seen! They are knowledgeable and take the time to listen to your questions and concerns. They thoroughly go through all the steps of your treatment in detail ensuring you feel comfortable. I am so happy with my smile. It is better than I could have ever imagined! I would recommend this office to anybody seeking orthodontic work. Their staff is amazing and super friendly as well!

This is the best orthodontists in the Houston area I've been going to them since I was 12 and have loved the service and the service people and did an amazing job putting on my braces and can't wait to go back in there and get my bottom braces.

Amazing treatment, doctors, staff, well just an awesome place overall. They tell you what's going on with your teeth and what they're going to do. Don't be scared to ask questions, they're more than happy to answer anything from you. They offer treatments I didn't see at other places, which I really liked. I recommend it to everyone 100/10.

I wish I could give eleven stars! My daughter has been to many doctors in six years and this is the only practice that she truly loves. The staff is extraordinary, caring and professional. My daughter's case is complex yet the staff is clearly prepared and experienced in the best plan of action. My daughter came home leaping with joy because they had made her feel so proud of her bravery. She made her brother so jealous that he promptly asked to start seeing the orthodontist. The office is extraordinary not just as a Doctor's office but an exemplary example of customer service.

I had a little bit of a hiccup after scheduling, when I tried to move my appointment to a slightly earlier time. I found Lindsay and Magruder to be incredibly responsive to patient concerns, and that is even before I've walked through the door and met the doctor. I can see why Lindsay and Magruder has 5 stars. They appear to be very deserving of such high ratings, and I'm looking forward to moving forward with services from this office. Based on what they've shown me so far, I believe the quality of services will be top notch.

I worked alongside with Dr. Magruder for several years. Not only is she a great person but also a great orthodontist. Drs Lindsay and Magruder are the best! They are very detail-oriented, and treated me with the ultimate professionalism and care. Their staff is second to none - from the front desk to the assistants. I have had two girls go through braces at Lindsay & Magruder and could not be happier with their results! They have beautiful smiles. The office staff is very friendly and helpful. Both Dr. Lindsay and Dr. Magruder are pros, they thoroughly explain treatment plans and keep to the schedule. Appointments are always on time! I love this practice and highly recommend it.

We are so happy with the service given at Lindsay and Magruder. We were not satisfied with where my daughter got braces and how the orthodontist ran things, so we searched for a new orthodontist for my son. Lindsay and Magruder was HIGHLY recommended, so we gave them a try. We have been so pleased. They are so friendly and I LOVE the environment there. They make you feel comfortable as a person and not just a number in the chair, like my daughters orthodontist did. They were always clear with what was next. My son just got his braces off last week and his teeth look great. We will for sure be using them for the rest of our kids. Thank you so much!

Drs. Lindsay and Magruder are both outstanding. I had visited a couple of orthodontists for consultations. By far this office was the most genuine and kind. The treatment plan was a collaboration and my daughter and I were treated with respect when we asked questions. Everyone in the office is professional, yet warm . The doctors and assistants are great at what they do and thoroughly explain things to my daughter before they proceed with care. It is a great team and the results speak for themselves. My daughter's smile is gorgeous!
