My name is Dr. Jagannathan Ramakrishnan. I prefer to be called Dr. J. I am an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences at the University of Minnesota. I graduated from the University of Madras and completed my Masters in Operative Dentistry in 1989. After having practiced dentistry for almost thirty years, I thought the best way to give back is to share my knowledge with dental students. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and skills to the younger generation.
I have practiced dentistry in the northern suburbs of Minnesota for more than twelve years. I feel blessed to have the skills and knowledge to be a dentist, and enjoy helping my patients improve their smiles and overall function.
I am blessed to have my lovely wife, Anitha. She is a dental hygienist and works in Osseo, Minnesota. I am the proud father of two beautiful and intelligent girls. Shruti, my oldest daughter, is in her second year of dental school at the University of Minnesota. Dhriti, my youngest daughter, is a graduate of UC, Davis. She eventually wants to be a genetic counselor.
In my spare time, I am an avid ping pong player, enjoy water sports, traveling, and giving back through dental mission trips. I am grateful for all of the current technology in our office that I can use to help improve your overall dental experience.

I had an appointment for an annual cleaning. They started on time, were professional, efficient, and quick. I appreciated that I didn't have to wait around or spend several hours to just get an annual cleaning.

I went in for just a cleaning but still needed some other work done and was putting it off . They asked if I wanted to do it now it would take about hour and a half so I well iam here let's do it . I am happy didn't have to go another time . Thanks

Update: I can't believe that I am saying this, but I am actually really excited to go back to the dentist. I had so much fun talking to Sierra that I can't wait to hear more of her stories. She did an excellent job cleaning my teeth while making the time pass so quickly through her great conversation. I can't wait to go back! Previous Review: I had an excellent experience getting cavitites filled by Dr. J. He used a laser which meant that I didn't even have to have my mouth numbed! Technology is so great!

I had a good experience with Sierra my hygienist. She was very careful and thorough cleaning my teeth. . It is hard for me to grasp that Dr. Johnson could charge $62 and look in my mouth for three seconds. Your clinic is the classiest I have ever seen in my long life and I have been to many.

We just moved to the area and so it was my first time going to Lindgren Dental Care. I was VERY impressed by all the staff from the time I entered until the time I left. It's great to have such professional care so close to home! Highly recommend!

I was experiencing a mild toothache and Lindgren Dental was able to get me in the next day for an evaluation. I couldn't believe it! The exam and treatment were fast; I was in and out in less than an hour. I was even able to get scheduled for a cleaning the next week. This is how dental should be done!

Just had my first appointment at Lindgren Dental Care and it was awesome! Everyone was so nice and friendly and the office itself is beautiful. Felt very comfortable throughout my cleaning. Super helpful staff. And I got a warm chocolate chip cookie at the end of my appointment!

I've had a lot of bad experiences with dentists previously. Thankfully I moved to the area and found Lindgren where they are finally doing it right. What a relief. The staff are genuinely engaging, the quality of care is fantastic, and they seem to use the latest and greatest technology.

My crown popped off on Saturday morning and Dr. Lindgren came in on a Saturday morning to put it back on for me so I could go enjoy all the MN state fair foods :) I cannot express enough how great this office is, I will recommend this dental office to anyone who asks. Thank you so much for coming in a day off to take great care of me.
