My name is Mojdeh Shayestehfar, but my patients know me as Dr. Shay. With more than twenty years of experience practicing dentistry, I still look forward to going to work every single day! I am grateful for the patients who have trusted me as their clinician and shared their lives with me. I feel extremely fortunate to have a career as a cosmetic dentist in Beverly Hillswhere I am able to connect in such meaningful ways with such a diverse group of people. Visiting the dentist should be a pleasant experience. It is my goal to make it so! In addition to helping you achieve optimum oral health, my goal is to make you feel happy and at ease whenever you visit my prosthodontics practice in Los Angeles. When you enter my office, I want you to feel as comfortable and welcome as a guest in my home. While many doctors view their patients as simply clients, I view each of my patients as a member of my Linden Dental family. Dr. Mojdeh Shayestehfar is a UCLA-trained prosthodontist, who specializes in advanced cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, crowns and bridges, removable partial dentures, complete dentures, and implant-supported removable partials and dentures, as well as full mouth reconstruction. After graduating from the UCLA School of Dentistry with several major honors, including the Robert Wolcott Operative Dentistry Award, Senior Select Award, and Removable Prosthetic Award, Dr. Shayestehfar continued her education by attending one year of Hospital Dentistry Residency at West Los Angeles Veteran Hospital and then returned to UCLA to complete a three-year post-doctoral fellowship in Prosthodontics.
As an Assistant Clinical Attending at UCLA, Dr. Shayestehfar was actively involved in teaching numerous aspects of dentistry for six years. Her teaching included Advanced General Dentistry Residency, Operative Dentistry, Removable Dentistry, Fixed Restorative Dentistry, Dental Board Preparation courses, Extended Function Registered Dental Assistant courses, and Bench Preparation courses for foreign dentists.
Dr. Shayestehfar is a member of the Spear Study Club and AAFE (American Academy of Facial Esthetics). She has devoted part of her business to anti-aging and rejuvenation. At the present, Dr. Shayestehfar is committed to her private practice and her family.

Most incredible, warm and thorough dentist! I am so blessed to be a patient of Dr Shay. She did an implant over 15 years ago and it still looks amazing. I fly across the country to see her for my cleanings, Botox and filler. I had no idea what a good cleaning was until I sat in her chair. The best!!!!

Dr. Shay and her team are the best! Everyone is so friendly, the office is always clean, and Dr. Shay is a true expert. I came to her with a botched crown and old fillings that were failing. When I started seeing Dr. Shay I had constant pain from a crown that wasn't set correctly, and she fixed it and made it look great too. I was living with spots on one of my teeth, and when the filling my last dentist did failed, Dr. Shay replaced it, completely cleaned it out, found an area of concern, and fixed it. That tooth has never looked or felt better. She's amazing.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Shayestehfar. I hadn't been to the dentist in many years and neglected my oral health. Dr. Shay is truly a gem. She completely revamped my smile. She completed a Deep Cleaning for me as well as Teeth Whitening and Bonding to even out my teeth. Just the smallest improvement made a huge difference in my smile. She is meticulous and really takes her time to make sure the job is complete. I am now taking more care of my smile and coming in regularly for cleanings to make sure upkeep the wonderful smile she crafted for me. She is definitely number one in the Oral Aesthetics category and I will definitely be returning to see her.

Dr. Shayestefar is amazing, not only she has the best bedside manner, her work couldn't be more perfect!! She has a wonderful and caring staff around her, along with her dogs that makes every visit a pleasure!! I wish I've known her sooner!!

Dr Shay is simply the best. She's good at what she does, she has the best bedside manner I've ever had with a doctor. And she cares about her patients, and rarity in Beverly Hills. She has transformed my dental hygiene and dental health to a level I never knew possible. I went from having cavities every visit at previous dentist to going on 3 years with no problems. I listen to her advice to come in more often for cleanings and it's paid off. She isn't there to make more money she is there to help her patients achieve dental success. I've now been a patient for 4 years and I'll never leave. Plus side is there are two therapy dogs there to calm the nerves if you are getting any stressful procedures done.

I am extremely thankful for Dr. Mojdeh Shayestehfar's great care. She is a wonderful person and amazing doctor. She is very gentle and precise with her care. Dr. Shayestefar is amazing! She is an incredibly caring doctor, and she is so passionate and professional about her work. She is technically gifted. Her exam room feels more like a cozy home than an office. Before, I was ashamed to smile for photos; now I proudly display Dr. Shay's artistic masterpiece. My whole family see her now. Can't recommend her enough!

Dr Shay's inviting office welcomed me in an emergent tooth situation a few years ago which she took care of quickly and economically. Since then, I have benefited from her meticulous work and eagle-eye attention to aesthetic detail. She even has therapy dogs to ease the dental work experience. Definitely recommend!

I had a severe accident in Australia at the end of last year whereby I smashed two of my perfect front teeth. Since then I have obviously moved country and I couldn't be happier with Dr Shay. I have had nerves die, emergency root canals, temp fillings, permanent fillings, I've also had to wait for my bone to heal since the implant in Australia. I consulted many 'experts' in Beverly Hills and I can only describe them as sharks and charlatans. One group of cosmetic dentists wanted to veneer a perfectly good tooth because they were concerned it would be too hard to match the broken front tooth next to it after a crowning. So 3 teeth instead of 2, oh and let's not forget all the appointments to discuss teeth and payment plans with them, then the hassling phone calls thereafter. Dr Shay has not only matched all of my teeth with perfect translucency, texture, color etc. She has addressed my implant, abutment, and crown. She has incredible attention to detail and is obviously highly experienced. Her practice is small and boutique and let's not forget Parker and Softie the dogs. My experience with her has simply been amazing. Thank God I found her.

Just saw Dr. Shay for my FIRST teeth-whitening appointment and left SO happy with the results! My teeth are sparkling, and I'm blown away by the outcome. My experience was impeccable, with the each of the staff members as lovely as the last. The entire process was seamless (I literally watched a movie while she did her magic), Dr. Shay is the sweetest, and I absolutely LOVED having her sweet pups cuddle me during the treatment. So happy I got to see her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dentist and/or cosmetic treatment!

Dr Shay is a dream! She made me feel at ease during the whole appt and she's so knowledgable and professional. She also has 2 therapy dogs in the office that greet you when you walk in and one (Softie) of them jumps up on your lap and lays on you/cuddles you during your whole procedure. Its soo cute and if you get nervous or hate the dentist it's so helpful!

I was in very bad condition from all the pain in my jaw due to clenching/ grinding/ Tmj. Dr shay is a miracle worker. She was able to pinpoint exactly where my pain was, treated with Botox so that my muscle is relaxed and I clench less. We did a follow up in a week and she recommended I get just a little bit more Botox in my jaw which really made a difference. Dr. Shay is an expert and takes very calculated measures to make your smile better :) Oh and she has the BEST therapy dogs that cuddle with you while being treated!! Check her out I highly recommend it!

This was the most pleasant dentist visit I've ever had in my life! When I first arrived, I was greeted with two of the cutest dogs, softie & parker. I usually have some anxiety going to the dentist but being able to play with the dogs before and during my treatment really calmed me down. I got my teeth whitened by Dr. Shay who also specializes in facial aesthetics such as veneers, mouth reconstruction, smile correction and even botox/fillers! Overall, it was a painless and quick procedure. I usually dread going to the dentist but I'd be looking forward to my next visit at Linden Dental Care!

Best experience! Dr. Shay was so nice and has 2 of the sweetest therapy dogs. She does cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. I was really impressed with how adamant she was to make sure my lips look natural. I got 1/2 a syringe on my top lip only - it makes such a difference but no one would ever know I even had it done. I loved her so much, I am going back in a couple weeks for a teeth cleaning. I definitely recommend her!

What can I say-there are therapy dogs! I always get nervous going to the dentist but knowing softie is there to calm me down makes all the difference. In addition to the dogs, Dr Shay is so knowledgeable and an outlier in her field. I am always amazed at how great I feel and look after visiting her office.
