Although our location has changed through the years, Dr. Westercamps philosophy has not. Lindale Dental Care is and always has been all about family dentistry. Patients are treated as if they are friends or members of our family. Dr. Westercamp retired from practicing dentistry in 2011, but he and his wife Sherry and son Ross still own and manage the practice. Dr. Westercamp works at the office most days, helping in the dental lab and around the office while finding more free time in his retirement to do the things he enjoys, including spending time with his family, walking , biking, doing scrimshaw, and intricate puzzles.

Lindale Dental Care currently has three dentists, six dental hygienists, three dental assistants and a core group of office professionals that make up your dental care team. We provide a comprehensive offering of dental care services to families in Cedar Rapids.

The entire staff was very welcoming and professional. Major kudos to my hygienist Malea who was absolutely amazing! She explained everything before she was going to do any part of the cleaning. And was so very sweet and welcoming.

Hygienist and Dr. Bello are fantastic! The office staff. Horrible!! Office manager does not know the difference between an invoice and a statement. They sent me a complete messed up statement that I spent three hours trying to match up to Explanation of Benefits after I was off work one night. Sent them a text message stating that nothing made sense and asked to meet with them to explain. I did miss the date that I was supposed to go in as I got swamped at my job and had to work late that evening. I received a text back that my bill was no longer 255.00 and was now 199.00. Great!! Tell me the dates of service so I could match up to Explanation of Benefits! They ended up calling and the only real amount I owed that I agreed with them was 136.00. 38.00 was for my daughters bill which I agreed to pay so she wouldn't have to deal with them and 25.00 for a no show appointment. I paid the 174.00 and told them good luck getting the 25.00. We can call it even for me having to figure out their billing. I still have no idea what the difference of 255 and the 199 was?? Asked if there were any more appointments for my family scheduled and there were none. Told them good because I would rather loose my teeth then set foot back into that office. A few days later I received a nasty letter from the office manager stating that we were basically kicked out of the practice. Ha! I have already found another office and have appointments made. Best part is! I found out my favorite hygienist from there now works for my new dentist. It was meant to be! Steer clear of this office!

Absolutely horrible experience. Worst dentist I have ever been to. Very unprofessional and rude staff in the front office.

I would strongly suggest going to a different dentist than this one, maybe someone with a little more experience. Update: The dentist i had when i visited is no longer practicing. Lesley is great.

Specifically writing this good review because Linda the hygienist is super nice and good at her job. She deserves 5 stars. I only caught her name cuz the dentist said it. But she was so personable and caring and tried to make me more comfortable with my TMJ problems. Wonderful hygienist and hopefully you can keep her and hire more like her!

I've been going to this dentist for years but up until I had a mishap with a filling I felt the need to find a new dentist. I've had a cavity "filled" but ended up almost touching the nerve as I was told from another dentistry to get a second opinion. I've had pain since getting that cavity filled in June and they thought they needed to fill it again for the pain when I chew to still be there. I have lost my trust in this dentist and would not recommend. Research into who your dentist is !!!

I remember the times before I went to Lindale Dental for my dentistry work. I used to be able to eat food without any pain, I used to be 1500 dollars richer, and all of the teeth in my mouth used to be real! I went in shortly after I got dental insurance and was told I needed 4 cavities filled. A month later I have a root canal and a thousand dollar crown. I need another root canal on my back molar but I can't afford it. This place changed my quality of life for the worst

I never "liked" going to the dentist, you know how it is, but when I found Lindale dental, I don't feel that way anymore. I don't dread the dentist. They've been so helpful and kind!

Lindale Dental was recommended to me from a work buddy and I am very glad I listened! I had previously had a pretty traumatic experience at a dentist when I was a kid so I was hesitant to go to any dentist. I will say my anxiety was through the roof during my first visit but it faded quickly. It is nice having them explain each step along the way. And honestly Dr. Pries is super fast and efficient at what she does. I couldn't believe how fast she did 2 fillings. I feel bad that I do not know all of the assistants that have helped during my procedures but they are all absolutely wonderful! Very friendly and gentle. Dr. Pries is especially great! When I had my 3rd filling about a week later I was surprised that I wasn't nervous or anxious at all. I can't wait to get my HSA saved up and all other dental procedures done. Once again I cannot recommend Lindale Dental enough!

Dr. Pries was very patient with me when I needed a cracked tooth taken care of! As I've gotten older I have gotten more anxious with dental appointments and she was really wonderful and patient with me.

My wife and I have been going to Lindale Dental since 1985. I have needed multiple fillings, crowns, and root canals. I have never had a problem with any of them no matter what dentist was doing the work. Ditto for my spouse. These folks are the best.
