Dr. Afshar graduated from University of Illinois College of Dentistry. She has been in the dental field since 1992 which has provided her with vast experience in managing complicated dental cases and medically compromised patients.
Dr. Afshar is a licensed general dentist with focus on cosmetics, providing complete smile makeover, full mouth reconstruction, Lumineers (thin veneers), conventional veneers, porcelain crowns, implants, and a Preferred Provider for Invisalign. As a cosmetic conscientious dentist, she has the unique ability to combine comfort and minimal postoperative complications.
Dr. Afshar is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and is a Preferred Provider of Invisalign.
Dr. Afshar lives in Lincolnshire with her husband and two children. She devotedly attends and participates in community activities and charity organizations. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, swimming and reading.
Dr. Abdullah is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics in Post Graduate level at University of Illinois College of Dentistry, and has been teaching for the last 16 years. He performs and teaches the latest techniques in implant and periodontal surgery, bone regeneration, periodontal tissue and soft tissue grafting, crown lengthening, Gingivectomy, Frenectomy and sinus augmentation. Dr. Abdullah is responsible for instructing the residents on the placement of implants and advancements in the field of implant surgery. He lectures both nationally and internationally on broad range of topics including periodontal plastic surgery and how to enhance aesthetic outcomes in cosmetic restorative dentistry.
The Consumers Research Council of America (www.consumersresearchcncl.org) announced the inclusion of Dr. Abdullah to the publication Guide to Americas Top Dentists. He has also been included in Strathmores who is who (www.strathmore-ltd.com). Strathmore honors men and women in all academic area and professions based on ones position, merits and lifetime accomplishments. Dr. Abdullah has published numerous articles on Periodontics & Implantology topics.
Dr. Sabek received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh, and obtained his endodontist specialty from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2004. He also went on to earn his Master of Science degree in endodontics at the same university.
Since then, Dr. Sabek has focused on developing painless root canal and endodontic treatments that only require a single visit using the very latest equipment and technology, which resulted in setting a standard of excellence. Dr. Sabek ensures every patient has the best experience possible. He is committed to delivering high quality care with a dedication to patient comfort and satisfaction.

Other than the initial numbing, it was a very quick and painless root canal. Wish I could have gotten the crown there as well.

I've never had a more painful experience than under the hands of this dentist. I would never go back and would actively advise against visiting this practice. They don't care about you, regularly try to bill more than owed, and in my opinion, pushed procedures on me that weren't needed to increased profits.

Wow! Is all I can say. Called the office and they got me that day for a cleaning and the staff from the front desk to the dentist, Dr. Afshar were so nice and explained all treatment to me. Definitely have found my forever dentist.

The best dental office! Everyone is always so kind and welcoming and also so wonderful and patient with my kids! My toddler now says she loves going to the dentist! Definitely recommend!!!

I went here for a cleaning after becoming a new patient when my crown fell off and they repaired it for me the day of. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel welcome. My hygienist made my teeth feel great!

This is the worst experience with dentist ever.I made an appointment with them and told them I only want to pull out one loose tooth, but Dr. Afshar pulled out the wrong tooth without my permission.She only suggested the deep clean package at the consultation and examination.But at the middle of the surgery, she pulled out the wrong tooth without my permission!I'm here to sharing the horrible experience I've suffered. Please go ahead and read all the bad reviews they have gotten before you make your decision.This is why Google has the comment section, to help you to figure out what is good and what is bad, and you never would want to suffer like this. Reply the review from Dr.Afshar---- When we made an appointment with you, from beginning to end we told your front desk lady, your assistant, and you many times that today we came to your office to pull out one loose tooth. At the consultation and examination, you never ever asked or even mentioned that you may need to pull out three teeth instead of one to me. But the horrible thing is that in the middle of the surgery, you pulled out the wrong tooth without my permission!All the excuses that you explained were after you already pulled out the wrong tooth without any permission. About the bills, you actually wanted to charge the amount of money for two teeth at the beginning(that's why you made it happened), which shows in the picture, it was $1003, but we stood there and argued with you about why you pulled out the wrong tooth and almost wanted to call the 911 to report what you did, then you had no choice but to take the extra tooth fee off. Our family just relocated here from Orlando, I had three dentists over 33 years without any problem.But this time,to me the whole process and treatment was absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude.

Dr Ashar, is rude and has not been able to perform proper dental care for me for the past two years. I have given her a great deal of time to do the work but she has failed every time. The good dental hygienist has not come back from a covid leave and the new one does rather poor work. Example, such as after a cleaning when still in the chair you find food particles in your teeth. I cannot recommend them.
