Dr. Sims discovered he wanted to be a dentist when he himself went through many years of orthodontics and maxiofacial surgery during his teen years. Because of his experience, he was determined to become the most empathetic and caring dentist possible.
Dr. Sims received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University in New Orleans and is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. Dr. Sims enjoys all facets of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He continues to stay on the cutting edge of the latest advances with post-graduate studies and active participation in local and national dental organizations that include the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Its increasingly rare in our fast-paced society to find a doctor who takes the time to build personal relationships. Dr. D. Hamilton Sims makes it a priority to know each of his patients and provides a lifetime of dental care by first learning whats important to you.
Dr. Sims is also committed to having a well-rounded life. He and his wife, Francesca, are raising their daughter, Georgia, and son, Walker. They enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. In addition, Dr. Sims is an accomplished musician who sings and plays guitar forPacific Mean Time. Be sure to ask Dr. Sims for the latest recording!

I had a replacement crown fall out on a Saturday, they were able to squeeze me in for an emergency appt. on Monday and I was in and out in less than a half hour. Very pleased

My whole family goes to Lincoln Dental and it's a great place. Friendly staff, great dental hygienists and Dr. Sims is the best. We've been patients for over 10 years and have always been happy with our care.

I recommend Lincoln Dental to anyone in the neighborhood! They do a great job, the staff is lovely, and they treat you like a real person - unlike some of those big corporate places.

I have been a patient at Lincoln for 20+ years and appreciate their wonderful service. The hygienists are patient, kind, and thorough. Dr. Sims and Dr. Kapor have done wonderful work my teeth and have been very clear about the options, the costs, and pros/cons of the possible procedures. I highly recommend them.

I always feel listened to and taken care of here! They are always willing to talk through any small or large concern or question that I have. Everyone is very knowledgeable and gives important context for any decisions I have to make. I've had 5 different health insurances over the last 3 years and they've always been able to help me. My cleanings are always pleasant and informative.

Everyone is so kind, I was in and out with X-rays in an hour or less and they did a great job. I actually left feeling better than when I came in, which says a lot for the dentist I think!

Professional, clean, and great dental team and dentist. I appreciate the good cleanings and dental work we've had. Dr. Sims has corrected some poor dental work my husband and I both suffered from. Grateful to him and his team. They are also very good at communicating.
