Dr. Christopher Phen received his training and residency in General and Hospital Dentistry at the University of Minnesota. He has been practicing dentistry in the Sacramento region since 1995. His mission is to provide the highest quality care to meet the needs of each patient. Dr. Phen strives to provide comprehensive solutions utilizing the latest technologies, and in a manner affordable for each patient. His motto is to treat his patients the same way he would prefer to be treated if he were the patient himself, providing compassionate care as if each patient was a member of his own family.
Dr. Phen and his wife, Jennifer, have four handsome sons. His interest in dentistry developed at an early age. He had the good fortune to work in his familys dental lab, developing experience in fabricating dentures. This has given him a unique understanding of dentistry from both a technicians point of view, as well as from the perspective of a highly-experienced doctor of dentistry.
Constantly advancing his knowledge of dentistry, Dr. Phen continues to participate in a wide variety of educational seminars. Other members of his staff also stay fully trained in developments in the profession. In addition, Dr. Phen makes sure his patients benefit from the latest changes in dentistry by incorporating state-of-the-art equipment such as Cone Beam, 3-D Imaging, Cerec CAD/CAM, Soft-Tissue Laser, Piezo Surgical Units, and Digital Radiography and Intra-Oral cameras.

I am a native of the Sacramento area. After graduating high school in 2002, I immediately enrolled in a dental assistance program. Later, I had the wonderful opportunity to serve in an externship with Dr. Phen at Elkhorn Family Dental.
I have been trained for oral and I.V. sedation. I have also been trained to understand the behavior of children, and how to make their experience in the dental setting more comfortable. I am constantly learning new procedures in Dr. Phens office, especially as it relates to dental implants.

It was a very pleasant visit today. All the staff was very friendly and answered all the questions. The doctor was great and explained each and everything in detailed. I had to travel a little bit since I live in another town but I don't mind traveling again and again because the Docotr and staff are so good to you and will answer your questions as many times as you ask them. All the treatment done there was done very carefully. Thank you for helping. I would recommend to go to Lincoln Crossing Dental instead of going to any other dental clinic where staff is rude to you and not responding.

Dr. Phen was pretty straightforward with my first visit and had also referred to an Orthodontist for my underbite and possibly jaw surgery and teeth extraction.

Great experience at Lincoln Crossing Dental. It's been awhile since I've had a dentist appointment and to be honest I was a little embarrassed about it But they were all so great and friendly made me feel welcomed and very comfortable.

After having a bad experience at another local dentist I was apprehensive to go to another and considered driving hours to my old dentist. My husband was a new client here and highly recommended this dental office. Been here twice and couldn't be happier. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. No BS'ing here. I enjoy walking through the doors here. Looking for a new dental office, give this place a call. They're good!

ZERO STAR- Bad experience overall as a new patient. Had to switch dentistry because I moved. Loved my previous dentist because they were honest. I came in for x-rays and an exam, which I was charged for and paid right after the visit. They gave me a statement breakdown and part of the payment was for x-rays plus the exam. I asked for the x-rays only because I didn't feel comfortable moving forward with their service but they wouldn't give me the x-rays unless I paid an extra $100. I mentioned that I just paid for today's service which included the x-rays but they refused to share a service I paid for. I never had this happen before. They said usually you get a copy of your x-rays because your insurance would have paid for them. I don't have insurance because I always just paid as I go and only for work that's needed. I then asked for the breakdown on of the service breakdown today showed it showed a balance of $244. I asked them for a statement showing it was paid but they said "yes it's already paid for and the balance just show because they didn't apply the discount yet". Seems a bit weird to give a customer a completely paid service statement that shows a balance due. What they were saying didn't match the statement. I asked them to reprint the statement showing the service was paid to date as they stated. Extremely weird. I am sure they would have billed me later. I do not like this place and it really rubbed me the wrong way.
