Dr. Kim is truly committed to delivering quality dentistry in a comfortable, caring environment. I enjoy providing a customized experience for each of my patients, from toddlers to senior citizens. Dr Kim has built an exceptional team-oriented staff that are dedicated to providing a positive personalized office experience, with a high level of dental care and customer satisfaction, for each of our patients at every visit. I truly believe prevention and oral health is a lifelong partnership with my patients. I am wholeheartedly invested in that relationship. Dr. Kim received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Washington. She has served as an affiliate faculty member at UW and she is a member of the Washington State Dental Association (WSDA), the Seattle-King County Dental Association (SKCDA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). Dr. Kim is also currently a dental practitioner for Seattle Childrens Hospital, practicing at the Odessa Brown Childrens Clinic, and volunteers for the WSDA outreach program. In her spare time Dr. Kim enjoys golfing, Purebarre classes, running in local races, and spending time with her family. She recently has a new addition to her family, a microgoldendoodle named Peppa.
Dr. Chen is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Prior to that she attended the University of Michigan and recieved her Bachelor of Science in molecular biology. She is originally from Taiwan and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Dr. Chen is passionate about providing patients with personalized, comfortable treatment with a gentle touch. She is actively involved in continuing her dental education and supplementing her existing knowledge in order to continuously deliver the most up-to-date treatments for her patients. Dr. Chen loves to travel and is a big foodie. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, going on bike rides, and keeping busy with her baby daughter.
Dr. Koh graduated with high honors from University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. Prior to that she received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from University of the Pacific undergraduate. She was born and raised in the Seattle area, and returned from California immediately after finishing school. She fell in love with dentistry because it provides the opportunity to meet and treat people in the community, and she cares for her patients as if they were her own family. Outside of the office Dr. Koh enjoys attempting to snowboard, playing tennis, baking and eating desserts, and hiking with her Australian cattle dog.
Dr. Schrack has teamed up with Lina Kim DDS to lend his specialized expertise to our patients needing extractions, in the comfort of our Magnolia office, one or two days per month. Dr. Schrack is a general dentist who is passionate about oral surgery and has limited his scope of practice entirely to oral surgery treatment. Under the direction of board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons Jeffrey Carter, MD, DMD, Adam Pitts, MD, DDS, and Stuart Mckenzie, MD, DMD, Dr. Schrack gained extensive training and experience in performing routine and complex oral surgery procedures, completing pre-op and post-op patient health assessment and radiographic evaluation, performing proper general anesthesia administration and safety, the logistics of mobile surgical services, and the management of post-operative surgical complications. Dr. Schrack was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. When he isnt working, Dr. Schrack is doing his best to enjoy the beauty around him; hiking the Cascades, water skiing and wake boarding, visiting local vineyards, and eating his way through the state! Dr. Schrack also loves the rest of the world and loves to travel. Ask him about what hes got planned for his next international trip!
Dr. Hashemzadeh is our prosthodontics specialist at the clinic. He is a graduate of University of Washingtons Advanced Prosthodontics program, where he also earned his Master of Science in dentistry (MSD). Prosthodontists are trained to provide specialized care for patients with deficient or missing teeth, and are highly trained to solve complex dental problems. While many dentists provide these services, prosthodontists are the experts in delivering high-quality dentures, crowns, bridges, and dental implants. Dr. Hashemzadeh is originally from Tehran, Iran, where he was born and raised in a family of dentists. He cares deeply about informing his patients about their treatment options and providing the best care possible for each patient. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hashemzadeh can be found playing or following tennis and soccer, trying his hand at composing music, or planning his next travel destination.
Amber has recently joined our front office team after moving cross-country to Seattle from North Carolina. Although new to the dental field, her previous experience as a personal insurance agent and her many years in the customer service industry have proven to be a valuable addition to our office! Working as the primary office billing coordinator, she will do her best to clarify any insurance and billing questions you may have. In her free time, Amber loves baking, spending time outdoors, exploring Washington with her husband, and hanging out with her two dogs Freya and Baxter!
Annie grew up in the dental field with a father who was a dentist. Shes been working in the field for a very long time and works primarily at the Magnolia location on Saturdays. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and helping them find ways to work with their schedule and their pace. Outside of work, Annie loves to spend time with her large family.
Jamie has been with Dr. Kims office since Spring of 2017. While newish to the dental field, Jamie brings over 20 years of client and customer service to our front desk. She loves chatting with our wonderful patients and doing everything she can to make sure your dental experience is the best possible. When not at our office, Jamie is hanging out with her family, taking lots of road trips, wine tasting (Malbec please), and walking her little French Bulldog around the Bryant neighborhood. Youll see Jamie in both Magnolia (on some Tuesdays) and Laurelhurst (on Wednesdays and Fridays).
Kelcie has a background in finance but is excited to make the transition into dentistry. Her favorite thing about working in the office is the opportunity to interact with patients throughout the day. Kelcie grew up in Arizona where she spent as much time in the sun as possible. Now that she has left the sun behind however, she loves to travel, craft and swim on a local synchronized swimming team.
Lisa works for us at both our Laurelhurst and Magnolia offices. She has been working in the hygiene field since 1980. She is a native of West Seattle, and a graduate of Shoreline Dental Hygiene program. Lisa enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients, and has a warm and cheerful personality. Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys snowskiing, gardening and travelling to Hawaii with her husband.
Hai is the newest addition to Dr. Kims team. He is a graduate of Shoreline Community College Dental Hygiene Program and holds a bachelor degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Washington. Hai is passionate about dental hygiene and believes in educating his patients to have good hygiene practice not only in the dental chair, but at home as well. Outside of dental hygiene, Hai has three main passions; food, tango, and travel. His life goal is to travel to, dance in, and eat from as many countries as possible.
