Dr. Cary J. Limberakis graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. degree and earned an M.S. from Villanova University. He received his dental training and D.M.D. degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, a member of its 1978 centennial class. Dr. Limberakis is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

An active member of the American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association, he has served at the regional and local levels of these organizations as President and Executive Board member of the PDA's 2nd District Dental Association and the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society. In addition, he is a member of the ADA's Council on Dental Practice, the Academy of Stomatology and the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

A firm believer in continued education, Dr. Limberakis exceeds by far the annual credit hours required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and includes his staff in attending courses in the diverse fields of dentistry. In addition, Dr. Limberakis is recognized by his peers and voted as one of Philadelphia Magazine's TOP DENTISTS of 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021for General Dentistry. This acknowledgement is a testament to a lifetime of dental excellence and patient care.

He is an Attending Dental Staff member and Clinical Instructor of Abington Memorial Hospital's General Practice Residency. Being of Hellenic ancestry affords Dr. Limberakis the ability to converse with Greek-speaking patients.

Dr. Jonathan C. Limberakis is a graduate of Villanova University with a B.A. in History and completed his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he was selected to spend a year at the highly regarded General Practice Residency at Abington Memorial Hospital (now Jefferson Health). During this year of additional training, he learned from the top general dentists and specialists in the area, focusing on cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, surgical techniques including placing and restoring dental implants, periodontal maintenance, and advanced restorative techniques.

Dr. Limberakis is committed to the lifelong education in dentistry and has completed over 800 hours of continuing education since graduating from dental school. He routinely travels throughout the country to study from the cutting-edge leaders in dental science and technology. Dr. Limberakis is a member of the American Dental Association, Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and is a member of the Spear Education advanced dental learning community. in 2020, he earned his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, joining only 6% of all general dentists in the US to accomplish this. Subsequently he earned a fellowship in implant dentistry in association with the NYU College of Dentistry. In 2021, Dr. Jonathan was selected by his peers as a 2021 Philadelphia Magazine Top Dentist for General Dentistry.

Pursuing a profession in dentistry has been a lifelong dream for Dr. Limberakis. Watching his father treat multiple generations of families, he realized the unique role a dentist can play in the lives of their patients. Beyond connecting with his patients, Dr. Limberakis is passionate about the transformative effect dentistry can have on them. His treatment goal is ensuring total patient comfort and relaxation while utilizing the most modern dental techniques and materials available. Dr. Limberakis excels in oral surgical procedures and endodontics, and performs most root canal procedures, bone grafts, extractions, and placement of dental implants.

This fellowship is earned by completing over 500 hours of continuing education and passing an extensive written exam compromising every area of modern dental practice, technique and material science.

Dr. Cary currently serves on the American Dental Association's Council on Dental Practice and is an awardee of multiple national and local distinctions such as Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He has been recognized by his peers as a Top Dentists for General Dentistry byPhiladelphia Magazinethree times. Dr. Cary is also an Invisalign preferred doctor and oversees the orthodontic cases in the practice.

Dr. Jonathan, with big shoes to fill, has made a serious imprint on the practice and has already accumulated multiple distinctions of his own. After achieving his fellowship in the AGD, he pursued a fellowship in implant dentistry in association with the NYU College of Dentistry. He has also traveled throughout the country accumulating a staggering 800 hours of continuing education. After dental school he also completed a residency in general practice at our very own Abington Memorial Hospital- one of the states top dental residency programs. Given his training and expertise- he handles all surgical, endodontic, and grafting procedures in the office.

CEREC Digital Scanning and Milling- This 3D scanner allows us to take digital impressions of your teeth. Most often we use this for single crowns, but are also able to utilize it for Invisalign trays, inlays, onlays, and implants. The 3D scan is only half of the process though. We also have a milling unit that can mill a single crown in 7 minutes! This allows you to have a crown completed in a single visit. We dont use this for every case, as there are scenarios when we prefer a laboratory technician complete the case, but it is truly amazing technology!

Digital Radiographs- These are not new to the scene, but since many offices still utilize printed x-rays we feel the need to mention it. We have had digital x-rays in our office for over 10 years! What makes these so great is that not only is it faster, more convenient, and more comfortable, but it also reduces the amount of radiation needed for an x-ray by as much as 90% compared to traditional x-rays.

Digital Smile Design- Dentistry is experiencing a revolution in digital technology. One of the ways we have adapted is by bringing in advanced software that will allow us to digitally design your ideal smile! Using your photos and an incredibly powerful app, we can show you what your ideal smile can look like without every taking an impression or using a handpiece. It's like taking a test drive of your smile. Best of all- we will do this complimentary for you. Ask for Dr. Jonathan to show you how this process works!

DryShield and ReLeaf- Our office utilizes two forms of intraoral high speed suctioning. Why is this important? Well, for one it makes your experience more comfortable. The Dryshield combines moisture control with airway safety, so that nothing from inside your tooth goes into your throat during the procedure. The ReLeaf system minimizes aerosols during your cleanings and keeps your comfortable and dry so that you dont need to stop and start to suction throughout the procedure- its done automatically!

Invisalign Clear Orthodontic Aligners- Dr. Cary and Dr. Jonathan have been integrate orthodontics into their practice in order to help our patients achieve their ideal health and dental esthetics. Often, through clear aligners, like Invisalign, we are able to complete a more conservative treatment but maximize the outcome of your smile. Both doctors are happy to review the process with you and makes it as simple and easy as possible to get your ideal smile. A digital scan and a few photographs are all you need to get started! Then we can bring your plan to life and you can see it all unfold on the screen digitally- so you know what your end result will look like!

Latest Implant Technology- We utilize the most modern dental implant technology in order to safely place and restore your dental implants. While implants have been around for nearly 30 years, the technology has changed rapidly. That's why we utilize a system that has a proven track record of success for bone to implant integration and long term success. We also utilize CBCT cone beam technology and surgical guides to allow us to place implants precisely where there will be most successful and safest for you!

Cone Beam 3-D Digital Imaging- Our office utilizes the state-of-the-art Sirona Orthophos S11 CBCT scanner. 3D allows us to visualize so much more and overcomes the limitations of traditional 2D radiographs. This technology allows us to look at your smile 360 degrees around each tooth- uncovering information that we previously would not have been able to ascertain. What does this mean for you? We can complete our procedures with more accuracy and give more better information than ever before! That means before an implant is ever placed, we can digitally plan it with total accuracy to position it in the best possible location.

Intraoral and Extraoral Photographs- We want you to see what we see! Its as simple as that. We utilize the Mouthwatch intraoral cameras to show you anything we find concerning in your mouth. This might be inflammation of the gums, cracks in teeth, leaking fillings, or cavities. We know you can trust us, but it doesnt hurt to see it with your own two eyes. For cosmetic procedures, we utilize a Nikon D3400 camera with a lens and flash system specifically calibrated for dentistry. So when we have to communicate shade and information to a lab- they are getting an incredibly high quality photograph to create the best possible match.

Spear Education Chairside Patient Videos- Everyone learns differently. Some of us need a combination of visuals, reading, and verbal communication to fully grasp a concept. So, if theres a complicated topic to discuss all we need to do is pull up a high quality video to explain it in a different way that may work better for you. These videos can also be e-mailed to you for your review whenever you would like. They help break down new advanced concepts into easy to digest information.

Advanced Endodontic Instruments- Without boring you, we utilize some incredible technology to diagnose, perform, and complete root canal procedures. This involves digital sensors to determine the true length of a canal, cordless reciprocating rotary files for quick and complete cleansing of a tooth, and warm condensation techniques for fully sealing a canal.

One of the best parts about our office is that you will see the same smiling faces for years and years. We have an office culture that keeps our team around! Most of our staff has been here for 15+ years, and some, such as our fantastic office manager, Joanne, and our EFDA, Eileen, have been with us for 30 years! Our team of hygienists and assistants are highly trained and skilled and routinely exceed the number of continuing education hours needed for licensure. Office Appearance- We know the dental office is not typically everyone's favorite place to be, so we've tried to do whatever we can to make it more relaxing for you. It starts with the beauty of the office. It's doesn't have that cold/lifeless feel that many doctors offices present- rather it's warm, relaxing, and inviting. Our color scheme was chosen to put you at ease and every room has a beautiful view of the outdoors with expansive windows.

Office Chairs- We can assure you that you've never been in a dental chair as comfortable as ours. Not only does it gently cradle the body, but every chair has a built in massager to put your body and mind at ease. Multiple speeds and settings are all available for you to adjust right at your side. Additionally, the chairs have a built in heating unit to keep your temperature right where you need it to be during the colder months.

Monitors and On-Demand TV- Each room is equipped with large monitors that are specific to each room. The rooms are equipped with YouTube TV so you're free to browse ESPN or Bravo right from your chair. We also utilize these screens to show your radiographs and photos to help you gain a better understanding of your treatment needs.

All of our professionals, including the doctors, dental hygienists and expanded function dental assistants, maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing continuing education to stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in dentistry.

Office Manager Joanne Joanne oversees the operational flow of the practice and has worked with Dr. Cary Limberakis from the day he opened his own office in 1983. She is well versed in dental techniques and treatment coordination, as she has continued to maintain her dental assistant certification. Her clinical expertise compliments her administrative aspects which qualify her to thoroughly explain procedures and financial matters to patients at Limberakis Family Dentistry.

Financial Coordinator Bunny Bunny has worked at Limberakis Family Dentistry for 10 years as financial and patient coordinator. She started her dental career as an orthodontic assistant and later transitioned into the administrative side of dentistry. Bunny enjoys the interaction with our patients and is known to get them laughing before and after their visit.

Patient Coordinator Rachel Rachel graduated from Kutztown University in 2019 with a BA in Music and started working in the dental field in 2020. She enjoys exploring new places, making music, and spending time with her friends and family. Rachel is so excited to be a part of the team and loves the friendly environment here at Limberakis Family Dentistry.

Registered Dental Hygienist Colleen Colleen has worked with Dr. Cary Limberakis for 20 years. She enjoys working with patients and utilizing the intra-oral camera for patient education. Patients look forward to their routine visits with Colleen and are always sure to leave with a smile on their face.

Registered Dental Hygienist Anna Anna was born and raised in Southeastern NC. Attended college in NC and PA, She has a dental hygiene licenses to practice in both states. She has been in the dental field for ten years, between dental assisting and hygiene. Anna is passionate about my career and I show that through patient education and results. 'The most gratifying experiences is when I see improvements in health. I focus on detail and to be gentle. I enjoy my work at Limberakis Family Dental because we share the same values.'

Registered Dental Hygienist - Judy Judy joined Limberakis Family Dentistry in 2019, although she has been practicing hygiene for 37 years! Many of you may recognize her as she worked for Dr. DiGirolamo at his periodontal practice for years. This gave her a strong background in periodontal treatment and allows her to really educate patients on their gum health and home care. When Judy is not creating healtier smiles, you can find her on the golf course and enjoying time with her husband!

Registered Dental Hygienist - Kerianne Kerianne received her training as a Dental Hygienist at Pennsylvania College of Technology. She continued her education and received her B.A. of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2020. Kerianne also holds her Local Anesthesia license to keep you as comfortable as possible during your visit. Kerianne is quick to make all her patients feel at ease. She builds trusting relationships with each of her patients. She is devoted to educating each patient on their individual needs to assure their best overall oral health. In her spare time she likes to spend time with friends and family and enjoys the outdoors.

Chairside Dental Assistant Eileen Eileen has been working as an EFDA for more than 30 years, most of them with Dr. Cary Limberakis. She utilizes her skills doing crown and bridge dentistry and restorative cosmetic work. She enjoys working in our family-oriented practice!

Chairside Dental Assistant Kacey Kacey graduated from the Expanded Functions Dental Assistant program at Manor College in 2015. She did her internship at Limberakis Family Dentistry during her last semester of school, and has been a part of the team ever since. She enjoys being an EFDA, and being able to utilize her skills to help patients achieve a better smile.

Chairside Dental Assistant Paula Paula was born and raised in Londrina, Brazil, later moving to Philadelphia in 1993. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, she graduated from Manor Jr. College in 2000. Since then, Paula has been working as a certified Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary enjoying the intricacies of providing patients with beautiful smiles. She loves working in the warm atmosphere of the Limberakis Family Dentistry. On her spare time she is an avid runner and rock climber.

Chairside Dental Assistant Emily Emily graduated from Middle Bucks Institute of Technology in 2021 where she was awarded Dental Occupations Student of the Year. Emily has also received her radiology certification. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has future plans to become an Expanded Financial Dental Assistant.
