Eric M. Yabu, DDS, earned a bachelors degree in biology from UC Berkeley as well as a bachelors in dental science from UC San Francisco before going on to obtain his dental degree from the University of California at San Francisco. He has since undergone extensive postgraduate education in the areas of dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Yabu recently attained Diplomate status in the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. His advanced training in sleep apnea allows him to offer his patients oral appliances as an alternative to CPAP machines to aid in achieving a good nights sleep. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.
You may have seen Dr. Yabus interview featured at WebMD, for which he serves as the Oral Care Expert, or heard about his lectures on sports dentistry and the use of cone beam CT technology. He is a Team Dentist for UC Berkeley and serves as a youth basketball coach. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and running.
Geraldine A. Lim, DDS, also obtained her dental degree at UC San Francisco, after earning bachelors degrees from UC Davis and UC San Francisco. Her continuing education courses have included training in the latest dental materials, cosmetic dentistry, and alternatives to gum surgery such as laser periodontal care. She has experience managing patients with temperomandibular joint disorder so she can provide her patients with a pain-free, beautiful smile. Dr. Lim is also a member of the American and California Dental Associations.

Mary attended Kaua'i Community College and the University of Hawai'i at Manoa for general studies and went on to receive a degree in management from Diablo Valley College and her dental assisting license from Carrington College. She has been with our office since 2012 but has over 20 years in dentistry. Married with one daughter, she enjoys reading, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, singing, and traveling.
Jenny has obtained associate 's degrees in health science, dental assisting, and dental hygiene, and shepreviously worked as a dental assistant for 5 years. She received her RDH from San Joaquin Valley College. She is married and loves Netflix and Hulu as well as travel and eating. The motto 'Live to eat, not eat to live' is one of her favorites.
May obtained associates degrees in allied health and dental hygiene from Carrington College and is also certified in the use of the soft tissue laser. She has been an RDA for 10 years and an RDH for 5. She has one daughter and loves traveling, singing, playing volleyball and badminton, and working out, as well as spending time with family and friends and doing outdoor activities.
Ana studied in the dental program at Alameda College and joined our practice in 2015. She is married with one daughter and loves traveling, cooking, reading books, hiking, dancing, and playing table tennis.
Wendy started in dental field 20 years ago, after teaching physics for 4 years in China. She has a bachelor's degree in physics and finished her dental hygiene program in Fresno. Wendy has learned a lot from her patients and been inspired by them at the same time.Outside of work, she is married and has two children. She enjoys walking, hiking, yoga, classical music, and gardening.
Sophia has a bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona and received her RDH from Western Career College in San Jose. She came to Lim & Yabu in 2017. Married with a young daughter, she enjoys traveling, ballet, and being outdoors.
Michelle received her degree in dental assisting from the College of Marin and has been working in dentistry for 23 years. She is certified by the CDA Cares program. When not at the office, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and bowling, including spending time with her son (who is now 23) as well as family and friends.
