Dr. Cropp was born and raised in Erie, PA. He graduated from Cathedral Prep High School in 1989 and subsequently attended the University of Pittsburgh. He earned a B.S. in Combined Sciences and then attended the School of Dental Medicine where he graduated from in 1995. He then completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Youngstown, OH.
Dr. Cropp then returned to Erie and worked at two different private dental offices from July of 1996 until September of 1999. At that time he took a giant leap and opened his own dental office in the Yorktown Center off of West 12th Street. He practiced there for 10 years until he built his own building in the summer of 2009. This building is the current location of Lighthouse Dentistry. Dr. Cropp plans to one day retire from this office and never move locations again!
Dr. Strazisar was born and raised in Erie PA where she graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 2002 in the top 10% of her class. She went on to attend Point Park University in Pittsburgh PA where she graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Science. She is a 2012 graduate of Temple University Kornberg School of Dental Medicine and was selected through the MATCH program for the St. Luke's/St. Vincent's Charity Medical Center General Practice Residency in Cleveland OH. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Strazisar continued to work in Ohio until her desire to be closer to family brought her back to Erie. After beginning her private practice career in Fairview, PA she found her permanent home at Lighthouse Dentistry with Dr. Cropp where she focuses on providing excellent dental care to all, but with a special focus on the pediatric patients. She is an active member of the ADA, PDA and ECDA.

I would not recommend this office. The staff here is very nice, but their "policies" are unfair and conniving. This office is all about money and it shows. I've paid over $5,000 in dental work and they discharged my son and I from the practice over a $37.00 balance, because I didn't reach them in a timely matter to pay them. (Clearly all they see is $$$ signs). Do not become a patient here!

I called and lucky enough there was a cancelation so they got me in within the hour. They gave me a cleaning and filled my front tooth in no time! I feel a lot better about smiling now and I'm all set up for an extraction and more fillings next month. Great office very clean and welcoming. The staff was amazing and kind. Definitely my go to dentist office in Erie! Highly recommend.

10/10. Best experience I ever had at the dentist this morning. I got three cavities filled in about a half hour. My experience couldn't have been better. Dr. King is great. Receptionists are very nice. Dentist tech was also great and personable. No pain whatsoever.

Absolutely the best dentist office anywhere. They quell any fears or anxiety you might have and have a comfortable atmosphere. The staff & technicians are all kind and friendly. Dr. Laura is amazing! Always a good experience.

I just can't say THANK YOU enough to Dr Cropp and his staff!! I'm petrified of dentists and try to avoid going but had an emergency and they graciously got me in the door within an hour and helped me!!! I will say now that I have found MY dentist! Dr Cropp and everyone there was very kind and compassionate and most of all Dr was GENTLE! Would highly recommend this office!!! THANK YOU AGAIN! Michele Widdowson

Wish I could give an actual review on their service but I probably will never have that chance. I Need to get my five and eight year old into a good dentist and seeing as the reviews look promising here I thought that I would call and see if they were taking new patients. I called and asked if they were taking new patients because I feel like that's usually the beginning step to getting into a new dentist. The receptionist that answered quickly said no ma'am we are not and I said thank you she did say you're welcome but quickly hung up. I never actually thought she would say they weren't! What just happened?

I'm 12 weeks pregnant , & woke up with a small Abscessed tooth so I called to make an appointment for this because it's very dangerous & could be fatal to my unborn baby & I was blown off & given October 28th as the soonest I'd be able to be seen . The lady I was speaking to had an awful attitude and was very rude . I wish I would have gotten her name but I hung up because I was so upset .

They are the best. During the process they kept asking if I was comfortable. The whole staff seemed to care and went out of their way to accommodate my needs and make me feel welcome.

Jennifer the manager turned me away because I'm black she said my insurance wouldn't cover it so o told her I have cash than she she said I was speaking to her and her staff rude when my and my dentist are both on the the phone with her she than went to say we aren't even seeing people out for 3 months if you guys didn't want my services just say that dont lie I'm reporting them to the bbb

I have been a patient of Lighthouse Dentistry for over 5 years. Dr Cropp & Jennifer have always made me feel comfortable & soothed my anxiety. I was alwsys greeted with a smile. Highly recommended this practice.

I absolutely love Lighthouse Dentistry! The staff is so amazing and so friendly. I've always had a fear of going to the dentist but Dr. Cropp and his staff have always gone above and beyond to make me and my family feel comfortable. Hands down the best. The front desk staff is always pleasant and friendly!
