Dr. Zyk received her BS of Biology from Mizzou and studied Dentistry at UMKC. In her spare time, Dr. Zyk enjoys spending time with her husband Sean, son Andrew, and daughter Julia at The Lake. Shes an enthusiastic cheerleader for her son and daughter during hockey season as well!
Dr. Bockhorst graduated from Union High School before studying Dental Surgery at UMKC. Prior to joining the Lighthouse Dental team, she owned her own practice in Southern Illinois. As her family is expanding, she is thrilled to be closer to home and her friends and family.
Caiti holds a B.S. in Psychology and several years of experience with treating dental patients with sleep apnea. She has a huge passion for this because shes witnessed so many lives change by treating a medical condition they arent aware they have. Caiti has 4 kids and they enjoy going on outdoor adventures any chance they get!
Amy is the smiling face that will greet you at the door or on the phone. She is from Sullivan, MO. While not at work she enjoys spending time outdoors with her son and pets. You may run into her on the river floating or in the woods on a deer stand! We all appreciate her excellent patient care.
Hannah joined Lighthouse Dental in 2013 after graduating from Missouri Southern State University with a Bachelor in Health Science, emphasis on dental hygiene, and a minor in biology. Hannah loves being able to help people have an enjoyable experience at the dentist making it easier to come back. In her free time, Hannah enjoys being crafty and decoratingbut has the most fun being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with her husband, Ethan, and two-year-old son, Rowan.
Kelly is the chipper voice you hear working as an assistant with Dr. Zyk. She lives in Union with her husband, daughter, and dog. She is grandma to her older daughters Corgi as well! Kelly loves spending her free time at home grilling, relaxing in the sauna, and spending time with her family.
Nicole joined Lighthouse Dental in 2008 after graduating from dental hygiene school at St. Louis Community College- Forest Park. Nicole loves interacting with patients and helping them to improve their overall health. Nicole enjoys staying activerunning and spending time at the lake, as well as spending time with her husband, Ryan, and three kiddos, Emric, Gwen, and Bree.
Stacie is a capable dental assistant with experience to perform extra procedures. Stacie lives in Sullivan with her husband and dogs. Stacie is proud of her daughter serving our country in the Navy. In her free time, she is always crafting!
Stephanie has been with Lighthouse Dental for over 12 years after starting with the office as an intern from Missouri College. Stephanie loves working with patients, explaining treatments, and helping them gain confidence with a beautiful smile. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, especially, going to the park with her daughter, Elsie. Stephanie also has five turtles that she and her daughter care for.

All the staff, assistants, hygienists, and doctors are the bomb dig. They are friendly, listen, and are careful about your care. The rolling memes on the televisions are hysterical and help to relax you and pass the little time you are waiting. Very welcoming and comfortable experience every time!

to their office I am met with the most professional staff. Expeditious and conscientious care provide to me and always a kinds spoken. My previous visit required removal of cracked tooth which was exceedingly painful. The staff was so patient and I struggled to let DDS continue the extraction. Dr. Zyk and Nicole are the best. I drive an hour to see them twice a year and well worth the drive and extra time spent out of my day. They are very professional and always very personable. The front office staff is also very nice to work with:) thanks for all u do for your community!

Don't go there.. I'm completely unhappy with this business . First visit, I made an appointment, arrived , went back to start Xrays & the front desk person come back to tell me, they could not confirm my dental insurance. When I gave them all my info, my ID # . They said they could not get thur to my insurance & I would have to payout of my pocket or reschedule. I Do have Great Dental insurance. I'm blessed I wasn't in pain. I quickly got thur on my phone to my dental insurance. the insurance rep. on the phone said no one had contacted them since 2019. I am ANGER. I let the dental office front desk person talk to my insurance. They confirmed it & still they said I would have to reschedule. Horrible & incompetence Katie took my information days b4 over the phone. At least I found out early , plus I talked to 2 Friends, they also had bad experiences . They treat people like cattle They wasted my precious time.

My experience at Lighthouse Dental has been wonderful for many years! How often can you say that about a dentist. Enjoyed meeting Dr. Brittany for the first time this visit. Across the board, the dentists, techs and office staff have always handled our family's dental needs gently, professionally and efficiently. Highly recommend this dental practice.

The most unprofessional, rude staff ever. My dentist was extremely rude and inhospitable to me while working on my teeth. When going in for an emergency extraction that had been on the books for two weeks, we (my mother and i) were told "we don't do extractions here", given incorrect information on my file, and tried to re-charge us $175 for X-rays and a new check up after a $350 visit and assessment in November. I'm 16, by all means do not bring your youth to this astonishingly unwelcoming facility.

Absolutely best experience. All the girls are pleasant and professional. Office was clean and new up to date equipment. The doctor took the time to answer my questions and gave me recommendations for concerns I had for on going issues. Thank you for helping me!!! I highly recommended! You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely 100% the best dentist I've ever been to not only is your pain and comfort their number one priority but they treat you as if you are family and not just another patient! They will even work with you financially to get the smile you have always wanted! I love these women! They are amazing God bless them

Came in for a chipped tooth and wouldn't fix it without a comprehensive exam (200 dollars by itself). It was at the end of the year and they urged me to try and use all my dental insurance benefits up. I walked out with a 2 thousand dollar treatment plan and a 350 dollar bill when I just wanted a chipped tooth fixed which was only 90 dollars. Stick with smaller dentist offices that are more patient oriented and less about money.

I called to see if they needed anything for my NP appointment. Apparently it was never scheduled. The receptionist was rude and then the next person I spoke to was not accepting me as a patient. They weren't helpful or willing to do anything about my appointment. They could not solve the problem and were not able to understand the frustration of waiting so long for an appointment then to hear it was never scheduled.
