Dr. Lin is a New Jersey native (exit #11 on the NJ Turnpike!) that earned his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned his D.M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and continued his training during residency at the Pittsburgh Department of Veterans Affairs hospital. He is a firm believer in treating each patient as if they were his own family member. Dr. Lin enjoys hiking, fishing, and running during his down time and also traveling with his beautiful wife, Sheryl.
Dr. Goldstein is a Norfolk native and graduate of Granby High School. He graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He attended the Medical College of Virginia and is a member of the American Dental Association and the Tidewater Dental Association. Dr. Goldstein is married, has three adult children and is enjoying being a grandfather. He loves snowboarding, rollerblading, golfing, bike riding, yoga, meditation and photography.
Dr. Cronan was born in the great state of Maine and received his Bachelors of Biology from the Honors College at the University of Maine. From there he began a gradual migration from the frozen north to the warmer southern climate. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts Dental School in Boston, Massachusetts and after practicing in and around the city for a few years, he and his wife Shannon decided that they had experienced one too many snowstorms in Boston. During a family vacation to the Outer Banks, the couple stopped in Virginia Beach and fell in love with the active but laid-back coastal community. Dr. Cronan is a member of the American Dental Association and Virginia Dental Association. He actively pursues continuing education opportunities including oral appliance therapy for TMJ disorders and clear orthodontic Invisalign aligners to offer the best possible care for his patients. He believes Dentistry is a merger of art and medicine and is especially happy to help those who are reluctant or nervous to establish a positive dental home. When not treating patients at Lighthouse Dental, Dr. C can be found paddle-boarding, hiking, or playing at the beach with his wife, daughter, and two dogs Mr. Pickles and Cheerio.

We will call you soon to schedule your appointment." I reached out them twice after and still no returned call. At least they could have called and said they don't want my business!

My search for my favorite dental practice is over! I've been disappointed for years. So glad to have finally found one that has talented and friendly staff, the most modern equipment and best of all, they don't try to sell you stuff you don't need! Every dental practice I've been to the last 10-12 years are either not competent or they just try to sell you services and equipment you don't actually need! Look no further folks! This is a great practice! I live in Williamsburg and gladly drive 150 miles!

Very disappointed. Lighthouse called today and cancelled both my wife's and my dental cleaning knowing full well that they scheduled us this late in the year and near the holidays. Because we can't get our teeth cleaned this year, we will lose six months of dental insurance. That's just not acceptable with the cost of our dental insurance. Will start looking for another dentist, one that hopefully has more concern for their patient's health and finances.

I have been going to Dr. Goldstein for approximately 40 years. Followed him from his practice in Portsmouth to close to an hour drive to his Virginia Beach practice. I've had enough dental work for 4 people. He is always courteous, kind, compassionate and gentle.( sounds like a Boy Scout ). His dental work has always been a 10++. His staff has always been 10+. Can't say enough good things about him and his staff.

Dr. Cronan and his dental assistant, Kathy, go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable at every visit. I have a severe fear of the dentist from childhood trauma, a tremendous amount of restorative work and it takes a lot for me to even get in the building and I often break down sitting in the chair, or even when they're just looking in my mouth because being there makes me so anxious. They're so patient, gentle, and have such great bedside manners. They're in tune when something even like a drill or instrument noise is too much and causing me stress before I even gesture or say anything. I did have to take something before today, as I usually do, but today was the first dentist appointment I've ever had in my life where I didn't cry. It's relieving to know that I can walk in there and have my anxiety validated and respected and know that what I can handle emotionally is at the center of my treatment. It is greatly appreciated. Dr. Lin, who I also saw briefly, is the same way. It's been a while since I've been in his chair but like Dr. Cronan, he has a wonderful bedside manner and is gentle and intuitive.

Lighthouse Dental Group is an amazing family practice! They take care of my entire family (trust me, my youngest can be challenging!) and are even available for emergency visits. One of my children needed some fillings, and they were able to do it (with laughing gas) and she never even knew she got a shot! I started with Invisalign, and am now going to get that beautiful smile I've always wanted! If you need a forever dental home, this is your place!
