Hello! I 'm Dr. Natalie Nechvatal! It 's okay if you 're having trouble pronouncing my name; It 's 'Neck-va-tell'. Just as it is true that many people have a fear or dislike of going to the dentist, many have a little hesitation trying to say my name for the first time as well. Don 't worry, though... I promise I can smoothly guide you and your family to overcome both.
I am a 2004 Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) graduate of the Case School of Dental Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. I also completed a general dentistry residency program at The Cleveland Clinic. I was in the private practice of dentistry on the west side of Cleveland for nearly 7 years before I purchased my practice and moved to the Toledo area in the spring of 2011. My two main objectives that I had while searching for a practice to take over were to, first, find a community which I felt like I could call home and become a central part of and, two, to be more centrally located to my immediate and extended family. I searched long and hard for the right place and I am thrilled to call Holland and Toledo my home.
I love what I do. Dentistry is at the core of who I am and it has been since I was very young. I enjoy meeting new people in my office every day, caring for them and setting them up for the best path forward when it comes to their dental and overall health. I spend time learning about you, your personal and your family's health and dental goals and do everything I can to guide you in how best to get there. I show you what I see and teach you the X's and O's behind the plays that are available to us. And, whether it's an emergency, preventative treatment or purely a cosmetic treatment, my satisfaction comes exclusively when you are satisfied as well.
No: we're not shooting to be seen as the best dentist in Toledo. This is where we simply show you our story and maybe that we're set up to be the best general & cosmetic dentist for you and your family.
In 2011, Dr. Nechvatal took over an existing practice that had struggled to rebound from the tough economic changes the region went through in 2007 to 2010. It had everything she was looking for, though, in a place to start calling her own - patients to care for, a capable staff, a good community around it and proximity to her immediate family. She knew she'd need to invest sweat, love, energy and financial resources into essentially everything else in order to rebuild the practice one step at a time. It started with a fresh coat of paint, and the progress continues each and every day.
Dr. Natalie Nechvatal has always been committed to a simple vision of how she treats each and every patient who comes into her practice: with the same care, friendly conversation, treatment recommendation and gentle touch as if she were taking care of her own mother, father, sister, child, family relative or friend.
