As an honors (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. John D. Light has always had the knack for standing out. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Light completed a general practice residency program at the VA Hospital and the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he was once again recognized for excellence, this time by the prestigious L. D. Pankey private practice group in Coral Gables, Florida.
Dr. Light has held teaching positions at the L. D. Pankey Institute and Nova Southeastern School of Dental Medicine. He has taken countless hours of continuing education to enhance his skills and continue his search for truth in dentistry. In addition, he has been involved with several dental study clubs. Dr. Light has attempted to create a practice that embodies excellence in restorative cosmetic dentistry while integrating concepts that incorporate a health-centered approach to dental care. He recognizes that dentistry is only one component to providing health care and therefore, he has aligned himself with some of the top specialists in dentistry, medicine, chiropractic and nutrition.

Dr. Light is very skilled and knowledgeable, but also gentle. You can tell he really cares about you. His staff is great, too--very friendly and professional. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now!

This is a Dental Observer not an dentist office. Any extractions or work has to be done elsewhere they told me.
