Dr. Adam Poyfair is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He also earned a Bachelors Degree in Nutritional Science with a Chemistry Minor at Brigham Young University. While attending Case Western, Dr. Poyfair was very active in student government and attended many extracurricular education courses. He served as his Class Representative while in dental school.
Having been a member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Poyfair enjoys being active within the local dental community. He has served as Chairman of the South Sound Free Dental Day Design Committee, which helps to serve hundreds of local residents with free dental services. He has volunteered his free time with Medical Teams International to provide free dental care and education to underpriviliged school children. Dr. Poyfair enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is proficient in many disciplines including: Crowns/Veneers, Extractions, Root Canals, Implant placement and Traditional and Clear Braces.
Dr. Poyfair is proud to have called Washington State home his whole life. Dr. Poyfair enjoys spending his free time playing Dad and taking his four children to various activities, as well as cheering on the Mariners and Seahawks. He has a good sense of humor and is a firm believer in the age old saying that 'laughter is the best medicine. Dr. Poyfair is very active with his church and is a member of Watch DOGS (Dad 's of Great Students) at his childrens local school. He also loves going on dates with his amazing wife, Carissa. People wonder where such a super dad finds the time to help out in so many ways, but he is really an incredibly generous and thoughtful person.
Dr. Poyfair has been with Light Dental Studios at the Lakewood office since 2009 and has built some amazing relationships with his patients and dental team. You will notice what a warm and inviting atmosphere he has helped to create for his patients. Dr. Poyfair's vision for each of his patients is to let them know what he can do to help them keep their oral health the best it can be.
Dr. Nazish Haq is a native of New Jersey where she completed her BA in Chemistry and minor in Math from Rutgers University. She graduated Cum Laude with high honors and also received the prestigious Ronald Rahman Award for excellence in Analytical Chemistry. Dr. Haq then pursued her DMD from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she spent a year doing in depth research on human pathogens involved in periodontal disease.
After receiving her DMD, she enrolled in a postgraduate program at Rutgers. This challenging program focused on Pediatric dentistry, Oral surgery, Periodontics and dentistry in the operating room. She especially enjoyed working in the Oral Medicine department because of the compassion and kindness that was necessary to treat medically compromised patients.
Dr. Haq strives to provide the kind of care for her patients as if they are a part of her own family. Developing a personal relationship with them and making them feel comfortable during treatment is her number one goal. Offering amenities such as pillows, blankets and even headphones are always available to patients who experience anxiety in the dental chair.
When Dr. Haq is not doing dentistry, she enjoys traveling across the globe, volunteering and cooking. Being a fitness enthusiast at heart, Dr. Haq also enjoys activities like rollerblading, biking, hiking, bouldering and anything outdoors with her wonderful husband, Hasan.

Coming to Light Dental Studios is one of the best decisions I ever made. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Chiffon, the front desk lady was very cordial and accommodating. She treats each patient like they've been their patient for a long time. She answers questions knowledgeably and makes you feel at ease when In the clinic. Their hygienists, Morgan and Melissa are the best. I had deep periodontal cleaning and didn't feel a thing during the procedure. I always get nervous inside the dental clinic but these ladies made sure that I am relaxed and comfortable. This clinic is very busy and I can understand why but they will find ways to get you in their schedule. At light dental studio, there is no judgment, they just genuinely care about you and your health! So highly recommended so don't hesitate to call them for your next dental appointment.

I have been to Light Dental Studios for years, I would say some of the dentists and hygienists were good. My appointment today August 18, 2022 with Dr. Corbett and Morgan, my hygienist was an especially delightful experience. Dr. Corbett who shows her patients respect and with a warm manner that made me relax! She took time to explained my condition crystal clear I felt comfortable immediately! And Morgan, my hygienist who is especially delightful and caring with her delicate yet professional skills; I didn't feel any pain at all under her gental work of art. I highly recommend Light Dental Studios.

Like many people I hate to going to the dentist, most of the time it's my terrible, horrible, not so good very bad day, however my appointment was the very best visit of my life (and at 77 that says a lot). My visit started with the receptionist, Ms. Chit Ensoy, who was very friendly, polite and helpful. I had an issue with my insurance and she took the time to make several phone calls to get it straightened out, unlike so many other places where if you have a problem - it's your problem. She truly was great. The next person was Savannah, the Dental Assistant who did the initial contact, tour of the office and X-Rays; she was excellent put me at ease. Then I met Dr. Caroline Corbett, who turned out was the best dentist and have ever experienced. I had several issues and Dr. Corbett was wonderful. She helped me through the difficult times (with a colorful word or two which I apologize for) and got it done. She clearly explained everything that was done, what to expect and what the next steps would be. The best part came the next day; I had very little soreness and no pain. So if you ever find yourself in need of a great dentist, I highly recommend Light Dentistry, Dr. Corbett and her team.

Chit, who works the front desk, is friendly and instantly makes you feel at ease. Morgan does a great job cleaning your teeth and engages in authentic conversation that doesn't feel forced. She genuinely seems interested. Dr. Corbett is great, too! She doesn't seem to be in a hurry, even though she has a jam-packed day. This is my favorite Light Dental office.

I've been a patient with Light Dental Studios for many years now. As always all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Today Miss Chit at the front desk attended me with such a pleasant smile and courtesy and assured me that this visit is as pleasant as the previous. While Morgan the hygienist that took care my Dental care was so precise yet gentle. She is so good on her job and she provided me a lot of good advice on how to maintain my teeth and to keep it healthy. Dr. Corbett is the main Doctor in this clinic. As the main doctor she is responsible for everything that 's going on in that office. Dr. Corbett is one of the best Dental doctor that ever work on my teeth. Besides being friendly, honest, and most of all caring and good at her job. I can't ask any better treatment than the treatment I have been receiving from this clinic and this team of professionals. Thank you Dr. Corbett, Miss Morgan, and Miss Chit for your hard work and dedication while making or keeping a lot of smiles to a lot of people.

My July 6 appointment at the Ruddell Road Office was very pleasant. The professional team approach reassured me that I made the right decision to switch dental offices. Chit's friendly, warm, and genuine welcome during the check-in process made me feel at ease right away. Morgan, my hygienist, was very gentle yet very thorough as she took x-rays and cleaned my teeth. I felt very relaxed--it was like I was visiting a good friend. I felt no pressure at all when Dr. Corbett explained my options regarding how to fill in the gap left by a cracked/ removed bridge. She will monitor and follow up during my next visit in January 2023. I feel so blessed with my new dental family members. Thank you!

I.went to light dental studio Ruddell road and monday had a toothache scared to go but Dr Corbett and Laura had the best care ever. Then on wed had my teeth cleaned and the dental hygenist did the best job gave me instructions how to keep my teeth in good condition. Last chitti the one who dies the books helps find my dental insurance and helps get it paid They are safe nice there Cindy

Emergency apt they got me in same day. Had to go in today for severe tooth ache. I am scared to death of dentists haven't been in years. I don't remember which lady worked on me but she was AMAZING! Explained my treatment options as well as cost after my insurance. Luckily they are in my ppo network so cost was minimal to me. I have NEVER EVER fallen asleep in a dental chair but she had to wake me more than once! If you are apprehensive at all about going to the dentist I highly recommend this place! Even explained my future needs for my teeth. I will definitely continue treatment at this clinic!! They will be my primary place from now on!! Thank you so much for the way I was treated today! Hope you like smoked salmon come September you will be receiving some of my fresh caught fresh smoked salmon!!! Awesome place for treatment!!!!

Avoid at any cost. Went here for a regular visit and was told I just need to get a few fillings. 1. Dentist drilled down my tooth all the way to the nerve to find out that it needs a root canal. My tooth didn't hurt and they didn't tell me about the need of root canal from xrays before the procedure 2. Referred me to a root canal place that didn't accept my insurance 3. Promised me to call back and find an endodontist that can perform the procedure at their clinic 4. Never returned my calls or called me back I'm on my own now with a temporary filling at the end of the year to find a doctor that can perform the root canal.
