Dr. Adam Poyfair is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He also earned a Bachelors Degree in Nutritional Science with a Chemistry Minor at Brigham Young University. While attending Case Western, Dr. Poyfair was very active in student government and attended many extracurricular education courses. He served as his Class Representative while in dental school.
Having been a member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Poyfair enjoys being active within the local dental community. He has served as Chairman of the South Sound Free Dental Day Design Committee, which helps to serve hundreds of local residents with free dental services. He has volunteered his free time with Medical Teams International to provide free dental care and education to underpriviliged school children. Dr. Poyfair enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is proficient in many disciplines including: Crowns/Veneers, Extractions, Root Canals, Implant placement and Traditional and Clear Braces.
Dr. Poyfair is proud to have called Washington State home his whole life. Dr. Poyfair enjoys spending his free time playing Dad and taking his four children to various activities, as well as cheering on the Mariners and Seahawks. He has a good sense of humor and is a firm believer in the age old saying that 'laughter is the best medicine. Dr. Poyfair is very active with his church and is a member of Watch DOGS (Dad 's of Great Students) at his childrens local school. He also loves going on dates with his amazing wife, Carissa. People wonder where such a super dad finds the time to help out in so many ways, but he is really an incredibly generous and thoughtful person.
Dr. Poyfair has been with Light Dental Studios at the Lakewood office since 2009 and has built some amazing relationships with his patients and dental team. You will notice what a warm and inviting atmosphere he has helped to create for his patients. Dr. Poyfair's vision for each of his patients is to let them know what he can do to help them keep their oral health the best it can be.

Amazing staff and great location. Extremely happy with my first visit, looking forward to many more! I highly recommend to anybody that is especially nervous or high anxiety, they made everything very quick and painless. Staff was professional yet easy going throughout the entire visit, genuinely made everything more comfortable.

Never before in my long life have I appreciated a dentist as much as I appreciate Dr Koby, Kristle, and Ricky. They are gentle, thorough, friendly, and open. They invite questions. They explain options including cost. Gabby at the front desk is very welcoming. This is not hyperbole--I enjoy going to Light Dental Studios in Lakewood!

I was always scared of going to the dentist (like a lot of people), on top of that I was not exactly blessed with great teeth to begin with. The lovely folks at Light Dental made sure that none of that fear or anxiety ever came through during my few visits here. Dr. Koby has been a blessing every time I have had a dental problem. I really can't recommend this place enough.

The team at this office is absolutely phenomenal. They are kind, understanding, and gentle. They took amazing care of me and when I brought my partner in for a blown out wisdom tooth, they took amazing care of her as well. I cannot recommend Dr. Poyfair and the team here enough. They are amazing. Hands down the best experiences I have ever had in a dental office.

This was my first visit to Lakewood Light Dental Studio. It was an extremely pleasant experience, for a dentist visit. The staff were wonderful, service prompt, gentle and Sean was wonderful.

I really like this dental office. Everyone is super nice and makes you feel very welcome. I am a big scaredy cat but Dr. Adam Poyfair is so nice and is very gentle. He listens and explains things very nicely.

Dr Koby is quite the Blessing in Dentistry. She's Knowledgeable & Highly Skilled. I found her Caring & Pleasant to work with. Her Staff are Courteous, even Friendly, and Helpful. They really do their Best to accommodate their Clients. My very First Impression was that this is a Happy Place. Light Dental Studio's prices are the best I found in our area. Great dental office! I, like many, have also hated going to the dentist. After a traumatic experience as a kid, I avoided the dentist for years as a young adult, and this was the first place I finally convinced myself to go to. Everyone here is incredibly nice and friendly, and I've received careful and great treatment. I've been going here for years now and never dread it. Sean is a great hygienist and always provides a fun conversation. Thank you Lakewood Light Dental for making me not hate the dentist!
