Dr. Adam Poyfair is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He also earned a Bachelors Degree in Nutritional Science with a Chemistry Minor at Brigham Young University. While attending Case Western, Dr. Poyfair was very active in student government and attended many extracurricular education courses. He served as his Class Representative while in dental school.
Having been a member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Poyfair enjoys being active within the local dental community. He has served as Chairman of the South Sound Free Dental Day Design Committee, which helps to serve hundreds of local residents with free dental services. He has volunteered his free time with Medical Teams International to provide free dental care and education to underpriviliged school children. Dr. Poyfair enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is proficient in many disciplines including: Crowns/Veneers, Extractions, Root Canals, Implant placement and Traditional and Clear Braces.
Dr. Poyfair is proud to have called Washington State home his whole life. Dr. Poyfair enjoys spending his free time playing Dad and taking his four children to various activities, as well as cheering on the Mariners and Seahawks. He has a good sense of humor and is a firm believer in the age old saying that 'laughter is the best medicine. Dr. Poyfair is very active with his church and is a member of Watch DOGS (Dad 's of Great Students) at his childrens local school. He also loves going on dates with his amazing wife, Carissa. People wonder where such a super dad finds the time to help out in so many ways, but he is really an incredibly generous and thoughtful person.
Dr. Poyfair has been with Light Dental Studios at the Lakewood office since 2009 and has built some amazing relationships with his patients and dental team. You will notice what a warm and inviting atmosphere he has helped to create for his patients. Dr. Poyfair's vision for each of his patients is to let them know what he can do to help them keep their oral health the best it can be.
Dr. Nazish Haq is a native of New Jersey where she completed her BA in Chemistry and minor in Math from Rutgers University. She graduated Cum Laude with high honors and also received the prestigious Ronald Rahman Award for excellence in Analytical Chemistry. Dr. Haq then pursued her DMD from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she spent a year doing in depth research on human pathogens involved in periodontal disease.
After receiving her DMD, she enrolled in a postgraduate program at Rutgers. This challenging program focused on Pediatric dentistry, Oral surgery, Periodontics and dentistry in the operating room. She especially enjoyed working in the Oral Medicine department because of the compassion and kindness that was necessary to treat medically compromised patients.
Dr. Haq strives to provide the kind of care for her patients as if they are a part of her own family. Developing a personal relationship with them and making them feel comfortable during treatment is her number one goal. Offering amenities such as pillows, blankets and even headphones are always available to patients who experience anxiety in the dental chair.
When Dr. Haq is not doing dentistry, she enjoys traveling across the globe, volunteering and cooking. Being a fitness enthusiast at heart, Dr. Haq also enjoys activities like rollerblading, biking, hiking, bouldering and anything outdoors with her wonderful husband, Hasan.

This place has some of the worst customer care i have seen in any business, i got my Invisalign here and the dentist spent at least 2-3 minutes talking about the process of getting them, after i got my xray, and teeth cleaned i though i was going to get more information from them but after signing some papers that had barely any information on it except if you wanted to pay all at once or monthly payments, they didn't tell me that they take a 1200-1400 down payment upfront which after paying all my other expenses took a huge chunk out of my savings. now after having Invisalign for half a year i barely see any change . to be honest just do braces that's what everyone i know who has Invisalign saids in the end. Also while signing the papers for the payment the front desk didn't know how to do it because there is only 1 person in the company that deals with invisalign payments and they work at a different site which in the end took me a week to be able to do. The staff is good but if i had a change to start over i would pick another dentist.

Dr. Amrita and her assistant, Jess are the best! They have taken care of me since the beginning which is nice (I don't get/see that a lot). I've had the pleasure to get to know them and they got to know me very well! My last appointment was in July (today is near the end of October) and Dr. Amrita remembered where I worked and all our previous conversations. HUGE thanks for personalizing my business relationship. And they're so fast!! I had two fillings this morning and it only took them 30 mins! That's AMAZING! Even though they're fast, they still take the time to inspect everything and take care of any concerns right there on the spot. All of the staff are nice, including Gaby the receptionist <3

Dr.Gharpure and his assistant Jen were incredible every appt for my surgery in Puyallup. Gentle, thorough, kind. I cannot say enough great things about Light Dental Studios and their staff. Not to mention, Dr. Gharpure has a great sense of humor. Between him and his assist I was relaxed the entire time. I highly recommended them!

Dr. Amrita is my favorite Dentist I have ever had. She is very knowledgeable and very gentle, and I have had more than one major procedure with zero follow up pain or soreness. The staff is friendly and I love being a patient here. Highly recommended.

I needed a crown and some other work done. This place is great!! Very friendly and professional office. They try to make it as pleasant and comfortable as possible and I can truly say I experienced no pain or discomfort. I highly recommend them for any dental work you need.

Very kind and caring. My mouth was not in a good way for a long time due to depression and they were so understanding and considerate. They are also quite affordable if you do not have insurance and help work with you for a longer term treatment plan. Wonderful. I will be back!

Dr Bauer and his assistant Jessica are amazing! I have serious dental anxiety. They are great at keeping me calm and relaxed. They both text me after the procedures to make sure I'm doing OK. This is the only place I will go for dental work from now on. You guys are amazing!!

I switched to Light Dental in Auburn because I lived so close & heard great things from my husband who goes there. During arrival I noticed how clean the building was and the inside was clean, new and decorated really cute for fall which made me feel welcome. The super sweet receptionist, Gabby was helping a woman in front of me & I couldn't help but over here how sweet and dedicated she was to making sure she was comfortable with what I think were invisaligns? She was so concerned with the patient. making her feel comfortable and able to call at any time if she was uncomfortable. I was seen promptly by Miss Ashley, I could tell she had a smile on behind her mask and was happy to greet me, make me feel comfortable and welcome.Miss Ashley was able to get started on me very quickly and work very thoroughly with no pain, Very gentle. We did X-ray's polishing and cleaning. Then doctor Amrita came in and continued the warm welcome feeling and comfort of being there. I really enjoyed my treatment today and am so glad I made the switch!!! I would highly recommend these people they seem to really care and seemed to want to go above and beyond for you financially, comfort wise, and treatment wise. 5 stars!
