While completing his pre-doctoral education at Nova Southeastern University, he dedicated a large portion of his time to medical research and community service. This experience helped him connect his passion for helping people with the academic challenges of medicine and led him to pursue a dentistry career.
Dr. Cicortas was part of the inaugural class of the Lake Erie College of Medicine (LECOM), Dental School in Bradenton, FL, where he received training in the latest techniques with state-of-the-art equipment. He then refined and mastered his cosmetic dentistry skills, full mouth rehabilitation, implants, and surgery at the LECOM Outreach Clinic in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Since graduating, Dr. Cicortas has provided comprehensive care to the South Florida community from Lake Worth to Hollywood. Dr. Cicortas goal is to provide exceptional dentistry to his patients in a caring and comfortable environment.
Dr. Cicortas is passionate about honing his skills through continuing education in cosmetic dentistry and new emerging technologies such as laser dentistry and minimally invasive surgery. Skills he uses to serve his patients and underserved communities in Guatemala and Mexico, where he regularly travels as part of his commitment to community services that improve the lives of those who need it most.
When out of the office, Dr. Cicortas enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, and spearfishing. His evenings are often spent playing cello violin duets with his wife Cristina and walking the boardwalk with their son Jacob and daughter Sophia.

The staff is friendly & personable. It's clean with a modern atmosphere & TVs in every room. They don't push teeth scaling like the last place I went to years ago. Marina My dental hygienist Is very detailed & doesn't kill your gums. But she takes her time so you leave with absolutely no plaque also very knowledgeable & explains your options.

10/14/2022 Never have fear, anxiety or dread going to a dentist again as long as you go to LifeWay Dental. I had a tooth extraction and bone graft done yesterday. I was in a room with a soothing environment and was given exceptional care by Dr. Cicortas and his wonderful staff. Not only was the procedure painless but it only lasted 35 minutes! I only needed local anesthesia. I was given prescription strength Advil when I left and hesitated to take it as I had no pain afterwards. Dr. Cicortas called me last night to see how I was. He is an exceptional dentist and caring person. I took one Advil just in case and slept through the night . I woke up this morning and had NO PAIN or discomfort. If you have teeth, please be good to yourself and go to Lifeway Dental. Updated 12/7/2021 I had a cleaning yesterday. My appointment is ALWAYS on time,, I never have to wait. Mariana did a great job. She is very professional and pleasant and has useful suggestions on how to keep your teeth healthy in-between visits.. I have been in Boca for 5 years and tried numerous dentists, I am happy to stay I found the BEST and will be using them from now on. If you have teeth, go to Lifeway Dental. I just went back yesterday for a crown. It was painless and professionally done and I was out of there with my new crown in less than 2 1/2 hours. Dr. Cicortas makes the crowns there. The whole experience was very pleasant and my teeth look great. I definitely recommend Lifeway Dental of Boca. Dr. Cicortas is very professional and knowledgeable. He provided me with affordable solutions by priority that are doable. The staff is friendly and hard working and created a pleasant environment. I recommend Lifeway Dental to everyone. For the first time ever, I am looking forward to going to the dentist and getting the much needed work done thanks to Dr. Cicortas and his staff. .

If I could give more than a 5-star rating I would give Lifeway Dental a 10-star rating. I have read most of the reviews that patients have given Lifeway Dental and I couldn't agree more. The experience I had with each person who works for Lifeway Dental, was outstanding. From the minute you entered the office you are greeted by Chantel, who couldn't be anymore charming. The staff was professional and caring. I actually fell asleep as they worked on me. I can't say enough about Dr.Cicortas, how patience, compassionate, and gentle he is. He explains everything in Layman's Terms. It was a pleasurable experience.

I truly love Dr. Cicortas really he's the best dentist in the world. I've been working in the dental field for over 30+ years and I've worked with several different doctors. In the field of dentistry you as an assistant pick up on who's a good, bad or great dentist. I truly have worked with my fair share of quacks like really, believe it or not I work with one now. I've also worked with Dr. Cicortas and we've trained together, so I know his chair side manners, his skills, how he's up on the latest technology and material use. He's gentle and takes his time to make sure that what ever procedure he's doing is done correctly and that all patients leave with a smile, if a patient is not happy he himself will do all that he can to make it right. He is truly an amazing person and has a kind heart. I use to call him Mr. Wonderful and If you ever meet him you will surly know why. He's WONDERFUL
