Dr. Claire Nawar comes to us with a well-rounded educational, experiential, and personal dental background. She attended the University of Minnesota and graduated in 2010 with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Nawar has completed the level 1 Postgraduate program in Contemporary Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry from the University of Minnesota and continues to broaden her knowledge and has been highly trained in the proper use of the newest dental materials and techniques. Dr. Nawar has provided dentistry to individuals across a full range of population groups and has developed a great appreciation for comprehensive dentistry and the value of compassionate dental care. As a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Dr. Nawar is now offering injectables such as lip and cheek filler and Botox. She is passionate about helping her patients feel more confident and youthful while staying true to natural beauty. Dr. Claire Nawar is continually pursuing the most updated techniques through continued education.

Dr. Carl S. Smetko has been practicing dentistry for 47 years of which the last 38 years have been in a private practice in Santa Ana. Dr. Smetko is known for his advanced dental and cosmetictechniques, and for his continuing education in all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Smetkos practice philosophy is on esthetic restorative dentistry while the scope of his practicing includes conservative treatments to reconstructions and implants, as well as hygiene and maintenance for all patients.
With his patients, Dr. Smetko is known for his caring and educational approach, his ability to get to know his patients with an emphasis on listening to each patients dental desires, for involving each patient in the development of their own unique treatment plan, and for his customized smile creations that optimize each patients facial bone structure.Dr. Smetko makes sure that both oral health and teeth alignment are optimized before cosmetic work is placed. For him, it is incredible watching the transformation people make when they feel confident about their new smile.
Today, he dedicates himself to his patients using the knowledge and skill he has developed over four decades. He creates beautiful, natural smiles with cosmetic procedures and helps his patients keep their teeth healthy for life. Dr. Smetko has been treating thethird generation of patients in the same family.
Dr. Alassy is a Periodontist (specialist in periodontal and implant surgery). He received his Master of Science degree and advanced training in periodontology from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Alassy authored publications in scientific journals with an emphasis on peri-implantitis. Prior to his specialization in periodontics, he practiced general dentistry from 2004 to 2017 and received his Fellowship award from the American Academy of General Dentistry in 2019. His UCLA training in Cosmetic dentistry in 2015 is utilized daily in the surgical procedures he performs.
Dentistry is both a science and an art. Dr. Alassy is fortunate enough to have mastered the science of dentistry. Microsurgery and cosmetic procedures are fulfilling when we can replicate mother natures beauty on a healthy smile.
Dr. Alassy, like many of us at LifeTime Smiles of OC grew up with a sweet tooth so he visited the dental office often as a child. Even though he was terrified of going to every visit, the dentists made him feel so comfortable. Each of his childhood dentists worked very well and he is passionate about comforting all of his patients the same way. Having a son is by far Dr. Alassys greatest accomplishment (which he had little to do with anyway). His son is indeed the apple of his eye. In the past Dr. Alassy identified as a surgeon but now he is most importantly a dad. Exploring new adventures with his wife and son takes all his spare time. They like new hikes and exploring the satisfying southern California beaches. When winter comes, they take advantage of snow activities whenever possible.

I love LifeTime Smiles! I've been coming here for 17 years. They made the transition from Dr. Smetcko seamless. Dr. Abraham and his team are amazing and always make you feel welcomed. They greet you with a smile and make coming to the dentist more bearable. Recommend them 100%!

I've been going here for many years, and all of the staff are incredibly friendly. I usually see Dr. Abraham who has been very, very good to me since I met him several years ago. Although, recently I've also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Shawn who, alongside Ana, had done a wonderful job filling a cavity for me. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants high quality, professional dental care.

I've been doing Invisalign for a couple months now and it's honestly been a really good experience. I went into this super skeptical thinking that i didnt really need it but I see a HUGE difference. Very thankful for Anna and Dr.Abraham for making the experience more enjoyable with the words of encouragement as well :)

I highly recommend Dr. Abraham for your dental needs. He's very experienced, friendly and puts you at ease. He goes above and beyond to make sure you have a clear understanding of everything. His staff are very friendly and accommodating too.

My family was referred here and my husband and I both say we've never had such extensive dental check ups! Very thorough, very friendly, very accommodating via scheduling and my husband's crazy work hours. My husband loved his Hygienist, Misty and I've received a deep cleaning and a consult with Dr. Alassy regarding a funky baby tooth. He was very informative about treatment options/suggestions and was very calm and easy to talk to. No pressure at all and I look forward to trusting him with my perio work.

Dr. Abraham is a savant regarding sleep apnea and how to fix it. The staff are super accommodating as well: I had a scheduling conflict and they called someone on the spot to reschedule them to make time for me. I was impressed! I felt kind of bad for the other guy though! Thanks random other person for being flexible! They also helped out with my unique insurance problem with the coverage of the sleep apnea device I got through them.

LifeTime Smiles of is a fantastic dental clinic. From the staff , hygienists and docs everything is first rate. I have received my dental care there for the last few years and I must say I have full confidence that Dr. Abraham and crew are taking excellent care of me. They go above and beyond. A story to illustrate. I have an older family member in his 80's who had neglected his dental care for years. He was very reluctant to visit any dentist. I convinced him to visit Lifetime and he met with Dr. Abraham. Despite my family members neglected care Dr. Abraham was kind, compassionate and respectful. He put my family member at ease and treated him with respect. I was very touched by this encounter and it said a lot about this practice. First rate .

I have been a patient at LifeTime Smiles of OC for the past two years. And would have to say that Dr Abraham is the best dentist and office staff that I have experienced in the last 35+ years. Every time you walk in the door you are treated as if you are the only patient that day. Dr Abraham is through and continues to ask pertinent questions and answer any questions that I have with honesty and in a way that anyone can understand. I have recommended three other patients to this office over the past 2 years and they too have had nothing but the best feedback I always look forward d to my next visit

I have been a patient at LifeTime Smiles of OC since 2018. I considered orthodontic treatment for over 12 years and consulted with at least 5 dentists who explained that my case could never be accomplished with clear aligners. I was disappointed because my company offered a free competitive clear aligner benefit at certain clinics. Other clinics said it would partially fix my issue, but I was unsure. Dr. Abraham evaluated my case and found a promising treatment plan, explaining the progression I could expect month by month, while including additional cosmetic changes that would improve my smile. I was excited to finally find a doctor who could fix my teeth. I declined the free treatment and chose Dr. Abraham's treatment plan. Although I am late on this well-deserved review, I am very happy with the results of my treatment and referred at least 8 other happy patients. Dr. Abraham's team demonstrates the highest quality standards which is apparent in the office cleanliness and the team's caring manner. Ana in the front office was always very professional and creates plans that work with my budget. Ana in the back office always makes me feel comfortable whenever I need treatment, even if I am extra stressed on those days. I've been to many dental offices and Misty is by far the best hygienist I have ever met; she is always very gentle and offers great advice. I've been going to Lifetime Smiles of OC since I was a baby. I've only ever had positive experience at this office. I highly recommend if you don't get regular cleanings, that you definitely do! I've also done cosmetic services here! I had a positive experience and even got to go home with whitening trays! Definitely invest in your oral healthcare! It has helped me keep a healthy and white smile!
