I love living by the coast with my husband Ian. Our daughter Caitlin attends University of Santa Barbara and is studying Biology. Our son Andrew attends Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and we are officially empty nesters. Fitness is an important part of my life and a healthy diet and exercise give me the energy I need to keep up with our full lives. I enjoy yoga, regular exercise, and organic gardening. I try to grow as much food as I can and share it with people I love.
I am a 1995 graduate of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine and completed my post-doctorate training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center at Newark, New Jersey. I am proud to provide my patients with the best in dental technology, treatment options and patient comfort. I spend several weekends a year at the world renowned Spear Education center to keep up with best dentists in the world.
I enjoy the changes and improvements in my profession and strive to take as many continuing education courses as possible. My personal promise to you is to give you my best every day, to make you comfortable, treat you like you are my family and provide you with the latest in dental technology! I will work hard to earn your trust and establish a relationship with you.
I was born and raised in southern California, and I just cant get enough of the wonderful weather! I love to stay active by playing basketball, golfing, and fishing. My beautiful wife Dr. Natasha Mallakis, who is a pharmacist, has got me into running and yoga. We also really enjoy food, so we are always trying out new recipes and finding interesting restaurants to eat at. Im a proud graduate of San Diego State University. Go Aztecs!
I earned my dental degree at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Arizona, a school that concentrated on comprehensive patient care with the newest techniques and materials. While there Iwashonored with an award from the American College of Prosthodontists. I am passionate about dentistry, and learning is a never ending journey in my career. Staying up to date allows me to provide the best care for my patients and contribute to a more positive perception of dentistry. I have attended countless hours of continuing education, including courses at Spear Education, the most innovative and respected dental education provider in the country. I love educating patients and helping them understand how to improve their oral health.I believe in always having a positive exchange with people and providing my patients with the same quality of dentistry I would give myself and my family. I look forward to seeing you at our office.

Lifetime Smile is the best dentist I've been to. If your looking for a new dentist, come here. Everyone is so friendly and personable. They make you feel comfortable and safe. I enjoy coming and getting my teeth cleaned every time. They work with my schedule. I come on my lunch break and am done in time to go back to work

I have been going to this dentist for many years and everyone I have interacted with is always super attentive and warm. That are also very accommodating when it comes to changing appointments and also during the appointments themselves. I recommend this dentistry to anyone !

I went in for an evaluation and cleaning. The facility is very impressive, with the most modern and up to date equipment. The procedure was the most thorough and complete that I have ever had, and I feel very confidant that my dental needs are in the hands of the best dental professionals ever!

Both the front desk ladies were very nice. They were very helpful explaining information. Tammy was very sweet and helped explain everything to me. I got called back very quick, It was even early. The hygienist was friendly and welcoming. He did a good job cleaning my teeth. Then after that I got my x-rays done by Tony. He was very nice and fun to be around. He made the experience less scary. The doctor was also amazing. Overall it was a great experience.
