Crowns are ideal for people seeking a natural appearance by replacing a missing tooth or strengthen a weakened tooth. A dental crown is a dental material that is applied over the crown of the tooth to provide it with protection and support.

Crowns serve a wide range of purposes. They can strengthen broken down or weakened teeth, help restore them to them to their original contour, fill spaces in our smiles, help bring teeth forward, improve the appearance of stained and discolored teeth and support bridges that are replacing missing teeth.

Prior to a tooth being restored with a crown, we need to build a strong foundation on the remainder of the tooth being capped. The foundation will strengthen the tooth and ensure the crown is well-retained. The foundation is often called a Core and may be manufactured from a range of materials, such as a bonded filling post. It may also be a cast gold post produced in a lab. You will normally only need a post if there is only a small amount of structure remaining. If the dental nerve is inflamed, we may need to refer you to an Endodontist.

After the foundation has been created, we can prepare the tooth for the crown. We can then create a model of the prepared tooth. Crowns can be ceramic, porcelain, gold or made from metal alloys. Gold alloys may be ideal if you dont have much healthy tooth left.

Crowns are ideal for people wishing to restore their teeth. Those seeking a natural appearance may be best served by most porcelain-based crowns, while people who require extra durability may wish to opt for gold or metal alloys. Talk to us today to find out more about our crown restorations.

Even though they can't guarantee that I may not feel something, as soon as I do, they work to fix it so I am not in pain. I like that about Lifetime Family Dental. They also are super compassionate and caring and make sure that I am always comfortable.

Going to the dentist now is a very different experience. I'm no longer fearful that it's going to hurt as they are compassionate and care about how I am feeling throughout the procedure. That is one of the few things I want from a dentist and Lifetime delivers on that.

Having a compassionate dentist is very important to me and Lifetime Family Dental is just that compassionate. After that, it's affordable and they offer payment plans so you don't need to neglect your teeth if you need a lot of dental work or an expensive service. They make sure to have a plan that helps you.

I wasn't sure who I could trust and was glad when my dentist gave me the referral. My family dentist does not do implants but they knew just where to send me. It was funny because the whole office said Lifetime Dental all at the same time. That was enough of an endorsement for me.

Had the worst experience ever with receptionist Jana, she advised me that I can have my Xray's transferred being that I was a new patient. I advised I just has them done at another dental office earlier in the year. I made the cleaning appt two weeks in advance to my appt date. She advised she would take care of getting my x-rays( I also emphasized to her that my insurance only pay for one a year) and I just needed to complete a form which I did. The day of the appointment 2 hrs. before she advised she did not get the x-rays and that they don't accept them anyway. I have to x-rays done in order for them to see me. I was shocked that was not our discussion earlier and i felt she lied to me in order to get me in the office to pay for x-rays, if I had known that I would not have wasted two weeks, completing all that paper work to learn the day of my appointment her lies. Don't go to this place they are about the money, they don't do as promised and Jana is a piece of work when I called her on the lies her response was I will pray for you my response back pray for yourself!. Avoid this place!

If you have bad teeth, anxious about going to the dentist, or just need a cleaning; Lifetime Family Dental is the place to go! I've been coming for a year and they treat you like a person, not just a payment and they care about their patients and their tooth health.

It was hard for me to find a dentist that offered sedation after moving to the area. I finally heard about Lifetime Family Dental and I did not give a fig if my insurance covered them, I was going. I am so glad I did. The payments are affordable so that was a relief.

My daughter was in an accident on her bike and it knocked out some of her teeth. There was no way that was going to be left unfixed so off to Lifetime Dental we went. Lifetime already did some work for my dad so I knew she was in good hands. They honestly took amazing care of both of them.

What a great team of individuals at Lifetime Family Dental. I absolutely HATED going to the dentist, and hadn't been happy with my dentist the last few times so a friend told me about this place and I had my first cleaning and a discussion about some loose teeth and will be returning in the next month. They know how to treat individuals and care about your questions-I LOVE Lifetime Family Dental!

We discovered this clinic after a cousin referred us. It was helpful to have someone who could provide us with relief when my kiddo woke with a swollen mouth one morning. We got in on an emergency appointment and we walked out with options to actually heal my kid.

I went there for cosmetic dentistry. I have dental insurance that pays for that. They charged me 86 dollars for a consult. Then they took x-rays and said they would do a cleaning and fix my two surface cavities. The dental assistant was very rough on my teeth. I never got a cleaning and they tried to charge me. They first said they wouldn't need to even numb me for these fixes. They they said they did. My insurance covers 70% and I was WAY over charged 540 dollars for two surface fillings. This visit was a complete nightmare! I am filing a complaint with the ADA.

At a young age I had an accident that knocked out quite a few of my front teeth. Since my 20's I have had dentures and it was time to make a change. I began the process of dental implants with Lifetime Family Dental and as of today the process is finished. I love how awesome these look and feel. It's so much more natural than dentures and works so much better for my life in general.

When my husband broke a tooth we needed to get into see the dentist quickly. Since Lifetime Dental offers sedation we were all about it. It's what he needs and it's not offered anywhere so having it available was a tremendous relief.

I discovered the best patient doctor relationship I have ever had when I came in here. I'm always heard and the dentist really takes time with any procedure or questions related there to.

This is the dental care we needed when my son hit his jaw on the end of a baseball bat. His teeth were rearranged, but this dentist was able to help him both relieve the pain and smile without the crazy again.

I was in so much pain and was visiting here from Ohio visiting relatives. I broke a tooth and was in so much pain. They immediately called Lifetime, which is their family dentist, and got me an appointment. Thankfully they were both accommodating and amazing. They were able to give necessary sedation when I needed it most because I was freaking out to be honest.

There are some great people out there, but you can find a great dentist in here. It's a fun, family centric office with some really thoughtful people. I'm glad we come here. It's nice to have a dentist my children don't feel a concern about.
