Dr. Craig Wernette is part of a trusted tradition of dental comfort and care. He received hisundergraduate degree in Physiology from Michigan State University in 1981. He then earned hisDoctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit in 1985, finishing in the top 10% ofhis class. Dr. Wernette grew up in mid Michigan and now resides in Bloomfield Township withhis wife and six children. When he is not busy with his family he enjoys skiing, swimming,hunting and taking in the great outdoors.
Dr. Wernette is continually upgrading himself and his staff on the newest dental techniques andapproaches in order to offer you and your family the most advanced, comfortable andpersonalized care available. He incorporates the latest high tech dental equipment in the officeand attends extensive continuing education courses to stay abreast of the newest trends indentistry. The office offers Cerec CAD/CAM dentistry, Claros diode laser dentistry, Invisalignand Fast Braces orthodontics, Lumineers and traditional veneers, Rembrandt and LumiBrite teethwhitening, The Wand STA computerized injections , Protaper precision root canaltherapy, ultrasonic teeth cleaning, digital low radiation x-rays and all other standard dentaltreatments.
Dr. Wernette is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Associationand the Oakland County Dental Association as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Hodas was born and raised in Clinton Township, Michigan. He is a graduate of the University ofMichigan School of Dentistry and is a member of the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hodas is fully adept at Cerec one day crown technology and also specializes in FastBraces, acomprehensive orthodontic treatment which takes months and not years to complete. He also enjoyshelping people achieve beautiful smiles by doing cosmetic dentistry, bonding and veneers.

Just got my first dental cleaning in 2 years here. This was my first visit and all of the staff that I interacted with today was very friendly. It was a very good experience and I will definitely be returning.

Craig Wernette was my dentist throughout my childhood, 90s-2015 ish. He went above and beyond with my teeth and sealing them so well that now, in my 30s, when I go somewhere else (out of town), I get so many compliments on his work and how well it's maintained for the last 15+ years. No joke. Most recent dentist said, "whoever did this work really loved your teeth and did a beautiful job". No cavities or any dental issues due to his proactive work years ago.

UPDATE related to Covid - 100% trust this office. With family/household members that are high risk, I've not taken risks during COVID. However, I had a dental emergency and HAD to go see Dr. Hodas. I have been very impressed with the precautions they take. ORIGINAL POST: I chose Lifetime Dental when I moved to Clawson 2 years ago. I liked that they were close to my house, but loved that they worked with me closely to optimize my insurance benefits and tailor a plan that worked best for my dental health and financial abilities. It's been 2 years and we are finally finishing some major dental work. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Dr. Hodas, Marina, Julie and everyone else!

Words can't express enough how happy I was with my experience. I called last minute to get in. I was having extreme tooth pain and I had never been to this dental office before and they took me within an hour. Helped figure out my issue. They were so nice and accommodating. They gained a new customer for sure. Thank you again Dr. Hodas and staff! You guys are amazing

This is the single most unprofessional establishment I have ever worked with. I scheduled an appointment with extended time for a cavity fill. When I got there, they said that they couldn't do it and called me a liar. The office manager proceeded to call and leave me SCREAMING voice messages about how I was a lair and they do not schedule appointments like that for a 2 days straight. Finally, the person I scheduled the appointment with spoke with her and confirmed that I scheduled the appointment as I had stated from the beginning. That conversation was revealed to me in another SCREAMING voicemail. She was mad in this one that I hadn't returned her screaming messages for the days prior and about how I should have called her back. I called back and notified her I would no longer be using them for my dental needs. She continued to berate me and then in an eerie calm state, "you know what? I think it is best for you to find a new dentist" I WILL NEVER GO BACK. SAVE YOURSELF AND AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. THE OFFICE MANAGER IS NOT WELL.

Everyone is always very nice. I like that this office uses the latest technology. Theres always a plan before any work is done, and my input is valued in the treatment decisions. I like the text message reminders about appointments. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dentist!!!

2019: I've been coming here for about two years for regular teeth cleanings and fixing a slightly chipped tooth. Always great and prompt service! Plus I love supporting Clawson businesses! 2020 Update: had three fillings that went great with zero pain

I feel when you walk in on time you are going to wait. Office is not on schedule. Staff are nice, however cleanings are only 30 min and rushed. Cleanings should be an hour long. I feel the hygienist does not take her time to clean good. Will try another dentist office.

I had my wisdom tooth removed. It was really quick. I didn't feel any pain. Everyone there are so nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

Staff is very friendly and supportive. I have alot of anxiety getting dental work done and they are understanding and go out of their way to make my experience better. They also have the latest equipment which also makes the procedures easier for patients.
