Because composite fillings can be bonded to teeth they usually allow for more conservative preparations. When less tooth structure is removed, we are able to create smaller, more natural looking fillings than conventional amalgam (silver) fillings. The tooth-colored material is cured with an intense light and the surface is shaped and polished to match the rest of your tooth, rendering the final restoration smooth and virtually undetectable to the eye.

Dr. Michael Hatcher is originally from North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate studies. In 2005, Dr. Hatcher earned his D.M.D. from Temple University School of Dentistry, in Philadelphia, PA. Shortly after graduating, Dr. Hatcher completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, where he honed both his surgical and cosmetic skills.
If you are used to lengthy wait time in a room full of people, you will find our dental office very different. This is not because we aren't busy, but because we value your time and we schedule one patient at a time. We do accept and file traditional dental insurance but are NOT contracted with dental HMO's, also known as DMO's. We feel that this allows us to not only provide the highest quality dentistry, but high quality personal service. We are not aiming to see a high volume of patients. We offer quality, not quantity. This is why we have so many patients for whom we are not on their insurance list, but choose us as their dental provider because they value the level of service we try so hard to deliver with each and every patient.
Our dental team is fully trained, skilled, and certified to provide you with the expertise you deserve. We fulfill our responsibility to continuing education by attending dental conventions, seminars, and lectures that keep us up-to-date on the latest dental products and procedures. We are always looking for ways to better serve you and your family.
Our dental team is here to help you get the most out of your dental insurance benefits. We will accept and file any PPO or Indemnity insurance which are those that allow you to choose your dentist. We also have many patients who do not have dental insurance and we do have dental financing options that will fit almost any budget. We also accept all major credit cards.

We have been seeing Dr. Hatcher as a family for a while now. My daughter had some issues with a tooth and needed it pulled along with some other "baby" teeth that her Orthodontist recommended should come out. Dr. Hatcher was wonderful with her. He explained the process and answered her questions and just made her feel comfortable about what to expect. He even called that evening to check on her. The staff is amazing too with following up with scheduling and squeezing us in since the tooth was causing some pain. We certainly recommend this dental practice.

I finally found a dentist I can trust close to home! Every staff member I came into contact with was so nice and explained everything really well too. They all took the time to answer my questions and make sure I was comfortable. I am so glad a friend recommended Dr. Hatcher to me. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience somewhere else before I made an appointment here. I was nervous because of that but this experience was the exact opposite!

Dr. Hatcher and his entire staff are always professional, punctual and always has the patient's interest as a priority. I can (and have), at the drop of a hat due to some emergency, and no matter what day and time, they make sure I am taken care of as soon as possible and with as much haste as they can reasonably afford. Every time I go to Lifetime Dental, it is spotless and the staff are well dressed and polite. I've been going for many years and it stays the same! The BEST part is when you walk out of there, you feel like you were treated like the only patient they had that day! Don't wait -- run.

Came to change 5 ***** rating I gave three years ago to one star. Dentist is good but I was very disappointed to have to go elsewhere bc i was told i had no right to ask to be scheduled with a vaccinated hygienist. I'm a senior and it is my business to protect my health and well-being

This was my second visit to LIfetime Dental, this time for just a cleaning. Like before, everyone was very courteous and professional. I was in and out in 30 minutes. The dental hygenist was great.

If having crown replaced could be non-eventful, it was. Dr Hatcher took every precaution to prevent pain and alleviate anxiety prior to the procedure. Afterwards I had no discomfort. Super job.
