Dr. Leasa Dornbier is a Nebraska native, having grown up in Lodgepole, NE, just 18 miles from her office in Sidney. Dr. Dornbier earned her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and worked as a dental assistant for several years before attending dental school in Lincoln. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Dornbier has been in private practice since that time.

Dr. Dornbier completed her dental implant placement training through the University of Texas San Antonio Preceptorship in Oral Implantology in 2009. This is a rigorous program that requires three-day training sessions every month for six months at UTSA. Dr. Dornbier is a member of the Nebraska Dental Association and the American Dental Association, and she is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She was trained to administer Botox through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and is a member of that organization. Dr. Dornbier meets and exceeds the ADA's requirements for continuing education, and she strives to stay educated on the newest techniques and products available in dentistry.

Giving back to her community is important to Dr. Dornbier, and she does this by volunteering to care for the underserved in both the Nebraska Mission of Mercy program and the University of Nebraska's Dental Day. She hosts dental students each year when they do extramural rotations to share the experience of private practice dentistry.

Dr. Dornbier is a member of Sidney Regional Medical Center's Foundation Board and leads her daughter's Girl Scout troop. Leasa, her husband and their children enjoy being outdoors. They love to hike, bike, camp and ski in their free time. Leasa feels so fortunate to have a wonderful, supportive family and a career she absolutely loves. Her main goal for her patients is to make their dental experience a positive one by providing the highest quality care in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Robin is a registered dental hygienist with 31 years of private practice experience. She graduated from Sheridan College in 1981 with an associate's degree in dental hygiene. Robin has been a dental hygienist in the Sidney community for 15 years. Robin enjoys volunteering for public health projects around the panhandle. Her patients' dental and overall health are of the utmost importance to her. Robin lives in Kimball with her husband, Darrell, and she has two grown daughters.

Karen brings over 30 years of dental hygiene experience to our practice. She says, 'I still love what I do! It 's rewarding to get to know people, help them understand the benefits of a healthy mouth, and work together to achieve and maintain that goal.' Karen graduated from Normandale Community College in Minnesota in 1983 with an associate 's degree in dental hygiene. She 's been married to her dear husband, Dan, since 1988. They have two wonderful teenage children and live on acreage near Gurley. Karen 's farm and her family keep her busy when she 's not treating patients at LifeSmiles.

Jenna is originally from St. Joseph, Missouri, where she first found her passion for the dental field when she worked as a dental assistant. She now cares for patients both as a receptionist and as a dental assistant at LifeSmiles. Jenna strives to always make patients feel comfortable, help them understand treatment options, and provide them with the highest quality of care. For her, gratification comes from knowing she's made a positive difference in a person's smile! Jenna's husband is a Sidney native and they moved to Sidney in 2004. Together they have two daughters and two sons.
