Dr. Bill Pruden is a 1995 graduate of the Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University. He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Howard University in Washington, DC. Born in Norfolk, VA, Dr. Pruden was raised in the neighboring city of Chesapeake. After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Pruden returned to Virginia and became an associate dentist in Richmond. He also served as a community health center dental clinic director in Harrisonburg, VA. In 2000, Dr. Pruden opened his own private practice in his hometown of Chesapeake, Va. In 2015, Dr. Pruden moved to Midland, Michigan with his wife Arletta (a Michigan native).
In his spare time, Dr. Pruden is a musician who loves to play the saxophone. He is also a student of the guitar. He loves to ride his Harley throughout the state of Michigan (when its warm enough) or he can be found enjoying golfing or reading.
Dr. Pruden has 23 years experience as a Dentist and he is very excited to be a part of the LifeSMILES team. He loves the small town feel of Gladwin and thoroughly enjoys the Art and Science that we call Dentistry.
Her past includes teaching for seven years at Delta College in the Dental Hygiene Department, and spending a summer at Bay Cliff Health Camp treating special needs children, Michigan Dentistry for the Handicapped, and private practice.
She enjoys having the ability and working in a position to help her patients have better oral health and a bright white smile. She takes pride in doing a great job with every patient no matter his or her dental condition and needs. Shannon is a Ferris State University Dental Hygiene graduate with experience at multiple offices including Saginaw, Merrill, and here in Gladwin.
Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and two children when she is not at work. During the warmer months, she and her family are active hiking trails and enjoy time outdoors. She also enjoys creating unique decorations using her attention to detail making many different seasonal crafts and home dcor.
Amy was born and raised in Harbor Beach Michigan and has lived in Midland for the past 18 years. Amy is a Ferris State University Dental Hygiene graduate. She has more than 20 years experience doing dental hygiene.
Amy takes pride in her job, she loves helping patients take responsibility for their health and to educate them on how to take care of their teeth. She has their best interest at heart. Amys goal is to help her patients keep their teeth all their life. She enjoys working on kids as well as adults and forming a relationship with each one.
Kennedy can be found in the hygiene department, happily helping you make your smile healthier. She enjoys speaking to patients about complete oral health and is excited to meet you at your next visit.
Her responsibilities include managing dental insurance benefits to ensure that you receive your due share. She handles the day to day operations needed behind the scene to keep LifeSMILES of Gladwin smoothly moving along.
