Dr. Bill Pruden is a 1995 graduate of the Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University. He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Howard University in Washington, DC. Born in Norfolk, VA, Dr. Pruden was raised in the neighboring city of Chesapeake. After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Pruden returned to Virginia and became an associate dentist in Richmond. He also served as a community health center dental clinic director in Harrisonburg, VA. In 2000, Dr. Pruden opened his own private practice in his hometown of Chesapeake, Va. In 2015, Dr. Pruden moved to Midland, Michigan with his wife Arletta (a Michigan native).
In his spare time, Dr. Pruden is a musician who loves to play the saxophone. He is also a student of the guitar. He loves to ride his Harley throughout the state of Michigan (when its warm enough) or he can be found enjoying golfing or reading.
Dr. Pruden has 23 years experience as a Dentist and he is very excited to be a part of the LifeSMILES team. He loves the small town feel of Gladwin and thoroughly enjoys the Art and Science that we call Dentistry.
Her past includes teaching for seven years at Delta College in the Dental Hygiene Department, and spending a summer at Bay Cliff Health Camp treating special needs children, Michigan Dentistry for the Handicapped, and private practice.
She enjoys having the ability and working in a position to help her patients have better oral health and a bright white smile. She takes pride in doing a great job with every patient no matter his or her dental condition and needs. Shannon is a Ferris State University Dental Hygiene graduate with experience at multiple offices including Saginaw, Merrill, and here in Gladwin.
Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband and two children when she is not at work. During the warmer months, she and her family are active hiking trails and enjoy time outdoors. She also enjoys creating unique decorations using her attention to detail making many different seasonal crafts and home dcor.
Amy was born and raised in Harbor Beach Michigan and has lived in Midland for the past 18 years. Amy is a Ferris State University Dental Hygiene graduate. She has more than 20 years experience doing dental hygiene.
Amy takes pride in her job, she loves helping patients take responsibility for their health and to educate them on how to take care of their teeth. She has their best interest at heart. Amys goal is to help her patients keep their teeth all their life. She enjoys working on kids as well as adults and forming a relationship with each one.
Kennedy can be found in the hygiene department, happily helping you make your smile healthier. She enjoys speaking to patients about complete oral health and is excited to meet you at your next visit.
Her responsibilities include managing dental insurance benefits to ensure that you receive your due share. She handles the day to day operations needed behind the scene to keep LifeSMILES of Gladwin smoothly moving along.

Practice has been in a constant state of change since it has opened. Numerous dentists have come thru. Hours changing, appointments being moved, and hope you catch the change in the automated call. Had hopes of having local dentist, with a reliable schedule.

I had a repair that fell apart.. Appt was canceled Feb by them for no dentist! Tried to get antibiotics but went to a different dentist in town for their lack of care!!

I actually enjoy going to Lifesmiles. The Dr is excellent, and the staff is very knowledgeable in their performed duties. I've been going there for some time and it is wonderful if you can say that about a Denist office, lol

I am so very pleased to be a patient of Dr. Pruden and staff. They are always professional, welcoming and the very best in their treatment of the work to be done! I would like to compliment Megan and Sherry as they assisted Dr. Pruden in my appointments. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating and I appreciate all of them and, especially Dr. Pruden. We are very fortunate that he chose LifeSMILES, Gladwin! I'm proud to recommend them!

Dr. William made me feel so very comfortable. I was a little afraid since I have never had fillings before and I was nervous about the shots. I literally did not feel the shots. I asked him when the shots were coming and he laughed while he told me he already had done them. His assistant also made me smile and laugh. The whole staff is amazing and friendly. You won't be disappointed. Thank you for your great service guys!

Dr. Pruden and the staff at life smiles are amazing. I had a very bad toothache and they were able to squeeze me right in and get me taken care of. The Dr and staff all made me feel very comfortable in one of the most uncomfortable moments of my life. I would highly recommend them. No need to travel out of town for great dental care. This officie is an asset to our small community!! Thanks for making me smile again

The staff was amazing and very helpful. And Dr. Pruden was a really great guy with a great sense of humor and took really great care of my daughter. Would recomend them to everyone and will definitely return in future.

All of the staff was very friendly. When I called to make appointment they got me in quickly even with being a new patient. The Dr and assistant were great. I thought I was going to have to get my tooth pulled and they were able to save it with a filling. First filling i have had that i didn't feel a thing. Highly recommend

This dentist is amazing! I am terrified of dentists (do to prior experience) my teeth are bad Dr Pruden didn't judge me and just said we can help you.I had a tooth pulled and believe it or not I did not feel the needle at all when Dr.Pruden numbed me!The staff is very nice and helpful and the assistant Megan is wonderful and helped me relax because I was so nervous,I will never go to any other dentist now that I found Dr.Pruden! He and his staff are the best!
