We have been operating since 1982 and have continued to grow our practice with each consecutive yearadding some of the most advanced technology in the field to promote comfort and convenience for all our patients. Two of our dentists, Dr. Blake Setien and Dr. Brent Setien, are natives of the area, and graduated from Parkway West High School. They are pleased to serve in their hometown and look forward to meeting even more members of our wonderful community.
We are a large dental practice, but we maintain the warmth and friendliness of a boutique practice. God, if I could give zero stars, I would have. The most horrible and disrespectful experience I've had to oblige; especially in business. You guys can Thank Me later, should your future visits becomes more welcoming. I won't elaborate fully, but let's just state the office manager and staff solely forgot the one statute they're to abide by, code of professional conduct. It's a duty by all rendering a service to the public; however, I will help them to remember their obligations to us all. From their unethical practices, unprofessional reactions to one not satisfied with their services and wasted time overall, it became appalling to hear the reply, "my daughter was not a good candidate for them." Really?! Someone missed the assignment; understanding of ADA Principles. I think it's outrageously disturbing for a dentist to practice in a geographic area and when a patient becomes agitated, you blatantly state you will call the police! WOW, after you've injected yourself into my daughter and I conversation? And to presume she thought this was fair treatment to us because I told her she needs to learn customer service etiquette. Their primary obligation includes dealing with people justly and delivering dental care without prejudice. YOU FAILED! A mental note: When an African American' frustration is distorted by constructing attitudes and perceptions, in which does not match reality, you perpetrate inaccurate stereotypes. SAD but TRUE! I will not allow this to sit as okay.

I must say that my experience at lifesmile dental care has been great, the staff there are some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. From Dr.Blake to all the ladies in the office and examination room they all get high marks from me!!! My smile has improved greatly since day one, I always enjoy my appointments because the professionalism and friendliness of lifesmiles staff. My wife and kids also have been going there for years and i highly recommend lifesmile, on a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 100 best dentist office I've ever gone to. I've been visiting here for a few years now and will not be returning after my experience with Dr. Blake. First off the office staff is really good no complaints there. On Aug 24th I went in for a root canal and filling which end up turning into a extraction & bone grafting. When he started the root canal it was ok in the beginning shortly after I started to experience pain he did stop for a few minutes at that point. He soon started again and shortly after I started to experience pain again all he could say was you "Shouldn't have waited so long to do this". Not saying that probably wasn't true but in that moment that wasn't called for. It was obvious I was in pain not to mention no additional numbing was done. The assistant tried to comfort me but it was only so much she could do. He stop again because apparently the bleeding wouldn't not stop and I couldn't take the pain anymore. He walked away and I was in so much pain that I was confused. Shortly after he came back in and told me there was no point of saving the tooth and that if I was his wife he would just tell me to get it pulled. Again I'm in pain and just wanted it to stop so I agreed. The girls came in explained my options (Implant or bridge aka more money). I agreed to an implant not realizing that now I'm getting a filling, extraction, and a bone grafting all today. His bedside manner was horrible so bad when I went back for my follow ups I refuse to see him. I felt mistreated and not value as a patient there for many years. I did speak to the office manger but this is Dr. Blake' practice so how much good did that really do? I'm no dentist but after seen how much pain I was in I don't believe all that should have happen the same day. My swelling was so bad it caused a black eye. I had to work from home and was in pain for 3 weeks total. I ended up on antibiotics twice and three other pain medications. Which I end up having an allergic reacting to. My whole experience was awful and I wouldn't recommend any one to go there.

Ashley was a GOD send. I called this morning and she went above and beyond to help us get in and be seen immediately for an abscessed tooth for my daughter. She rushed and called the insurance company and got it done. Professional and sweet to my daughter in her time of emergency. Thank You
