Dr. Gregory DeVries was born and raised in nearby Kinnelon, NJ. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Marist College with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and earned his DMD from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. DeVries completed postgraduate training in a Level-1 trauma center as a general practice resident at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
An advocate of lifelong learning, Dr. DeVries has studied with the International Academy of Dental Implantology and taken a particular interest in Invisalign. Currently, he is accumulating hours of continuing education for a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Passaic County Dental Association.
When he isnt providing elite, personalized dental care for his patients, Dr. DeVries enjoys going down the shore and spending time with his family, including his nieces and nephews of whom he is a proud uncle. He looks forward to meeting you.
Dr. Vanessa Lee grew up in East Brunswick, NJ, where she showed an early interest in the sciences. She attended Rutgers University graduating Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Music. After college, Dr. Lee pursued her interest in the medical sciences earning her Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences and DMD from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Lee completed her first year of postgraduate training as a general practice resident at Hackensack University Medical Center. She went on to pursue further training in oral surgery and advanced implant dentistry by completing her PGY2 as Chief Resident of the GPR program at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Most importantly Dr. Lee loves providing the highest level of care for her patients. Outside of the office Dr. Lee enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, including her adorable 4 pound Maltese.

My dental insurance plan changed recently so I came here for a first cleaning. The hygienist was great, very nice, explained everything clearly, listened to me. So did the dentist when he came in at the end. They were very honest and didn't try to sell me treatments I didn't need (which has happened to me before!). Office is clean and modern. Very happy with the service I received and happy to have found my new dentist!

This place is a clean, and tidy modern office. The staff is friendly. Dr. Devries and the hygenist, Jenny, take their time to listen to your concerns and give great advice. Will definitely return for their services. Wonderful experience, very satisfied.

This was my first time going to this place and no regrets at all when I tell you everyone is so nice to you and friendly makes you feel welcome like you been there for years, I'm big on review's and that's what made me to call everyone so respectful and helpful the way they make you feel welcome I am glad and thank you all for helping me I will continue coming and I'm telling people about it already my family and friends.

My boys and husband have been going here for couple years, and me joining recently. Mr. DeVries and his entire staff are kind, patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Just recently my 15 year old had an accident at practice. After our hospital visit, Mr. DeVries wanted us to come right in. Me being hesitant after what he went through I went and still hesitant after what he told me needed to be done right away to reposition his beautiful smile and help him. Although, we have a long road ahead, Mr. DeVries put everything back where it needed to be. Not only did he reassure a worried Mom, the entire staff stayed 1 1/2 passed when they should've closed and it was a team effort to help my son. I am so extremely grateful to Mr. DeVries and his entire staff. More than ever I highly recommend Life Smile Dentistry. Mr. DeVries and his entire staff are caring, kind and patient, especially in the worse of situations! I am SO GRATEFUL!!!!

I have been here for my cleanings and other services since 2019, and I have been beyond satisfied with all services that have been performed to my teethies. Consistently clean, great space, solid location, and there's TV's on the ceilings. If your uneasy in a dentist chair, I can imagine watching a little TV through a filling, is a solid distraction. Appreciate my dentist, assistants, and front-end desk crew! Much love, from my shiny teeth and me.

I have been going to Dr. Gregory DEVRIES since July and I have nothing but positive things to say. I have gone to several dentists before to fix my teeth and he is the first dentist that has done an amazing job! He takes his time and explains everything and I left there with a new smile and a huge boost of confidence! THANK YOU SO MUCH. Great and amazing!! Update: Life Smile is a very professional dentistry. They are knowledgeable, kind, helpful and friendly. Always looking to provide the best service and care to their patients. They offer a joyful and safe environment, specially now during the Covid19 pandemia. Exceptional staff and service. THANKS! Twice the dentist claimed that I had cavities after the assistant told me all of my enamel was healthy. I have never had a cavity in my life, I went and got a second opinion and there's not even a START of a cavity, you can also hear him in the hallway filling in the assistant on what to say when he comes back into the room. This has also happened to several other people going to the office, avoid this place unless you like having your insurance assaulted, they dig into your teeth unnecessarily for a dollar. HORRIBLE.

I highly recommend Life Smile, my family has been attending this office since 2018. The office is very clean and well kept. Dr. Gregory Devries, is professional and very kind, I completely trust his work. Sharron, who is the receptionist is also really nice and helpful.

I've had the pleasure of coming here several times now and seeing Dr. DeVries and his staff. Each time is consistently as pleasant as the previous. Prior to dealing with them, I avoided the dentist at all costs, but here you don't think about it twice you know you're in great hands. You are informed and consulted the entire time no matter what you're getting done; and when I say you don't feel his needle I mean you don't feel his needle. As caring as they are professional!

Service was prompt, courteous, and highly professional. Any questions I had were fully answered. I feel fully empowered as the person receiving services by being listened to and planned with for future procedures, treatment, etc. I felt safe and comfortable with their suberb level of cleanliness and caution, especially with the concerns of Covid-19 spread.
