Dr. Leyferman earned his DMD at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and has continued to seek advanced training and education to hone his skills and stay at the forefront of dental care.
One way that our dentist and team are able to offer the most effective and comfortable treatments is by staying on the leading edge of dental technology including Zoom! teeth whitening, and the CAESY patient education portal.
Dr. Leyfermancompleted his undergraduate studies earning two degrees in four years. Receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology at theUniversity of Rochester. He then earned his DMD at theUniversity of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class in 2000.
Dr. Leyfermancontinued his education at theState University of New York at Stony Brookwhere he completed the Advanced Education inGeneral Dentistry Program. After five years as an associate inHillsborough, NJ, Dr. Leyferman opened upLife Family Dentistryto serve the general and cosmetic dental needs of families in the Flemington area.
As an advocate of lifelong education,Dr. Leyfermanhas invested countless hours in continuing education.Dr. Leyfermancompleted coursework at the renownedPankey Institute for Continuing Educationwhere he focused on coursework in neuromuscular occlusion and cosmetics. Dr. Leyferman offers implant placement and he is a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Dr. Leyfermanparticipates in theGive Kids a Smileprogram, an international effort to provide dental care to needy children. He also holds membership in the American Dental Association, theNew Jersey Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Liz appreciates our warm, friendly family environment and our commitment to quality care. She likes making patients feel comfortable and ensuring that they receive maximum benefits from their dental plans. She and her husband, Tim, have a daughter, son in law, three granddaughters, and two dogs to keep them busy. In her spare time, Liz goes to movies, travels, works out, and she also enjoys making floral arrangements.
Tracy earned her associate's degree in applied science and a license in expanded functions; she holds membership in theAmerican Dental Hygiene Association. She was recognized by local schools for her dental health awareness education program. A mother of two, Tracy spends her spare time with her boys. She also likes hiking in the great outdoors when time allows.
Christine has over two years of dental experience so far, and she attended both Union County College and Rutgers University. She loves interacting with patients and helping them promote better health in themselves. Originally from Rahway, Christine has two kids. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with them, gardening, and reading on the beach.
Nicole has been with us for over seven years. Her favorite part of the job is getting to work with our awesome patients each day, and seeing their smiling faces when their treatment is complete. Nicole received her associates degree from Nassau Community College and has been working in the dental field ever since. She has one daughter in college studying Veterinarian Research, and enjoys spending time with her boxer terrier, Lela. When not at the office, you can find Nicole biking, cooking or traveling.
Debbie has been in the dental field for over 27 years. She's dedicated to her patients and helping them achieve optimal oral health. Debbie has her associates degree in Applied Science from Middlesex Community College and went to high school in nearby South Brunswick. Debbie and her husband Keith have three daughters. She enjoys reading, music, working out, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your best smile!
Originally from Flemington, Casey attended both Raritan Valley Community College and Rutgers University. She has her Associates in Human Services and additional education in social work and applied science. Her favorite thing about her job is getting to see the patients smiles after having their teeth done! In her free time, she enjoys going on road trips up to the Poconos and spending time on the lake.
Hollie attended Rantan Valley Community College and has her X-ray license, as well as additional training in dental radiology. The best thing about her job is being able to meet good people and help them achieve improved smiles! She is originally from Whitehouse Station and her hobbies include learning and playing the guitar, spending time with her friends, and anything involving art and fashion.

I was having severe tooth pain for a week when on Friday at 12:30pm I just couldn't stand it anymore. I called my normal dentist, but they told me they close at 3pm and to come Monday- offering me no pain relief! I called Life Family Dentistry and Liz the office manager took pity on me. She was able to work miracles and had me seen by Dr Leyferman within an hour! Even though I was a last minute NEW patient before the weekend, everyone was incredibly friendly and understanding. Dr Leyferman was a joy to meet and quickly surmised a root canal was necessary and started it right away. I'm typing this pain free after the numbing agent has worn off. Admittedly I need a lot of dental work, but I found my team! Thank you all so very much for seeing me when nobody else would.

Being going to this office for over seven years now with my family. Nothing but the highest compliments. Dr Leyferman was exceptional with my 6 year old daughter! Very patient and understanding! Office staff is wonderful, very warm and caring. Cannot recommend this office enough!

I will never forget my first appointment with Dr. Leyferman. I walked into his office with such a great phobia of dentists, having had some bad experiences in the past. During that visit, Dr. Leyferman and his staff made me so comfortable and at ease, I wasn't even thinking about the root canal he was doing for me. My phobia is gone, knowing that whatever procedure I need done, I can relax and trust in him and his professionalism. That was fifteen years ago, shortly after he started his practice. I moved out of state in 2011 but refuse to go to anyone else. I travel three hours to see Dr. Leyferman and honestly, I would go further if I had to. Thank you Dr. Leyferman, you are simply the best!

Dr. Leyferman is a great family dentist! My husband and 3 kids under 9 all go to Dr. Leyferman. I have been a patient for nearly 10 years and he has always made me feel comfortable; especially at the beginning when I was afraid of dentists. He and his staff are great with kids and I have been taking my kids to see him since they turned 3. They all enjoy going to the dentist; which as a mom I love. Liz runs the office and is great! She is always smiling and caring and we have never had any insurance or office issues. She is really on top of everything!

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Micheal Leyferman and his staff! They are professional, yet personable and really care about every patients health and happiness. Working with Dr. Leyferman and his staff is always a pleasant experience! Liz is very pleasant very helpful working with my busy schedule and the office always follow up with sincerity and thoughtfulness after my wife and mine procedures. The best dentist I have ever been to. I greatly recommend working with Dr. Leyferman. Oh also Dr Micheal has a great sense of humor and that really calms you down if you are nervous going to the dentist :).

The first person you will come in contact with at Dr. Leyferman's office is Liz. She is the friendliest, helpful and most knowledgeable person in the office. If you have an insurance question, she will take the time to call the insurance company for you and get you an answer. Dr. Leyferman is a well rounded dentist that uses the most updated procedures and technology to help each and every patient. He will take away your pain!
