A North Carolina native, Dr. Quyen Ying graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She then received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Upon her graduation from Penn, she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and received several awards for clinical excellence. Dr. Quyen went on to pursue an additional two years of training, specializing in pediatric at Boston Childrens Hospital/Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Quyen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the College of Diplomates, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentists, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and Birmingham Pediatric Dental Association.
Dr. Quyen enjoys the opportunity to provide exceptional dental care to children in the local community and overseas. As a dental student, she participated in several dental outreach trips to Da Nang, Viet Nam where she treated children with special needs and children in rural villages who lack access to care. As a pediatric dental resident, she traveled with a multi-disciplinary team to Oaxaca, Mexico to treat children with cleft lip and palate. In fact, her outreach experiences sparked her interests, and during her time in Portland, OR, she spent over a year treating only special needs children, especially those with sensory processing disorder, those on the autism spectrum, and children with cerebral palsy.
From North Carolina to Pennsylvania to Massachusetts, then to Oregon, Dr. Quyen and her family have finally decided to call Alabama home. She currently resides in Mountain Brook with her husband and two sons. In her free time. Dr. Quyen loves to read, cook, explore new restaurants, and travel.

It was my toddler's first visit everyone is friendly and very nice Dr .ying knows how to approch with kids friendly when my 2 year toddler was scared she treated her nice , did a good job and she is the best dentist ,I highly recommend this place.

I have a daughter with special needs and a toddler who hates brushing his teeth. The staff go above and beyond to take care of both my kids. We live over 20 minutes away and it so worth driving all the way here.

This was our 1st visit and I was supper amazed. Everyone was very nice , patient and of course hands on to make my son feel comfortable. He is on the spectrum and I was so appreciative that Dr. Ying immediately noticed and gave me some recommendations/options. I was soooo pleased I smiled the whole time and had no worries at all. 10/10 highly recommended :)

My son had is 13 months old & had his first appointment. The staff was very friendly, the facility was very clean, & Dr. Quyen was very informative as well as nice. We enjoyed our visit.

I have lived in Liberty Park for awhile but only recently did my family start using Liberty Park Children's Dentistry for their services. They are friendly, helpful, and everything you'd want in a children's dentist. I highly recommend them!

I have been taking my kiddos to see Dr Quyen for years now and her and her staff are nothing short of amazing. Daysi and Haley are the absolute sweetest. My kids love going to the dentist now and they make it such a fun experience for the children.
