Dr. McLelland grew up in Alberta, Canada and completed his dental school training at the University of Alberta. After a one year General Practice Residency, Dr. McLelland completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. McLelland met his wife Krista in Chicago, Illinois while she was a Pediatric ICU nurse. The McLellands have three girls, Kate, Addison and Ava. Kate and Addison are avid soccer players and enjoy Volleyball and school sports. Boating, hiking and traveling are a few of the many activities they enjoy.
Dr. Olsen received his Doctorate in Dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University and then went on to obtain his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from Boston University. He is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health and hes looking forward to being involved in your patients complete oral care and treatment.
Dr. Olsen is moving to the Spokane area with his wife, Lindsey, and their three kids (and one on the way!) Briggs, Eric and Caroline. The Olsen family have enjoyed exploring the parks, museums and restaurants that Boston has to offer, but are looking forward to hiking, camping, fishing and skiing throughout the Inland Northwest.

Fundamentally, trauma to the facial bones is treated similarly to how other types of broken bones are treated with reducing or lining up the parts of the affected bones and then fixating or holding them in place. As the bones are fixated, they heal over time. State insurance is accepted but you won't be seen anytime soon. 2 month waiting period if you're older than 20. They also will refuse to schedule you until they have your x-rays and referrals. Mine were sent over twice and they still couldn't find them. People were nice but terrible service for anyone that has state insurance, they'll accept you as a patient but you won't have any sense of priority because as the lady on the phone said "We don't get paid for state insured people so those kinds of people are not our priority" Kind people but terrible service. Would recommend Chas Dental. Great service and they'll make you a priority regardless of your insurance. ****In response to the owners Comment***** "I understand the limited availability of state insured acceptance but you can't tell people they're not a priority simply because of their insurance. It's inhumane. To try and justify that just goes to show the kind of business that gets conducted. Telling me that I'll have a longer wait period is fine and understandable until you're receptionist blatantly says "We don't get paid for working on state insured individuals so you won't be a priority"

Liberty Oral has shown lack of communication, interest, and commitment to guaranteeing my safety and well being. They show no concern, over a very long process, once again I am back at square one. The administration staff is very dry, cut and would rather sit around and chat within themselves then give a customer an extra two minutes of time and helping with an issue their practice created... It seems it was always some one else's job when inquiring with this office. Very unorganized office, and they are never up to date on information or trying to reconcile that. I think more training for front end associates is needed here. Very unsatisfied, will find a new practice..

Thank you dr Mclelland for an incredible experience! Your staff, cliff, Hailey, and heather are truly top notch! They were so kind and great to have during surgery. I'm extremely difficult to get an IV on but Heather never gave up and after a lot of perseverance she was able to get it so that I could have my surgery that same day. Thank you all for a wonderful experience and taking such good care of me!

I Just wanted to say that I had a great experience with Liberty. I went in a couple of weeks ago for a consultation with Dr. McLelland and really liked him and his staff. I felt very comfortable and came out of there knowing that I wanted to have my dental work done there. Yesterday, October 3rd, I had two teeth pulled. I was welcomed and checked in by the receptionist and then taken back. Dr. McLelland came in and greeted me and I met the surgical tech, Katlyn. She was very knowledgeable and explained the procedure . She got me hooked up to everything and stayed right there. Heather, the nurse, came in and did my IV. She also did a great job. I was very impressed with everyone I came in contact with. I highly recommend Dr. McLelland and his staff for any of your surgery needs. Deanie Brantley

My husband just had his bone replacement graft and implant done by Dr. Bryan McLelland. He said it must have only taken 5 minutes because that's all he remembers. A few hours later and he's doing great! All of the staff are warm, attentive and very friendly. Dr. McLelland is the friendliest doctor we're ever met explaining everything in detail and we did not feel like we were ever rushed through. "Cliff" and "Terry" were welcoming as well and Terry explained costs like we were family.

Bryan Mclelland was great. My son had all 4 wisdom teeth out at the same time. I really appriciate the office calling to see how my son was doing. I like the informational emails that were sent out following the weeks. My son was in very minimal pain and healed fast. I would recommend Dr. Bryan and the clinic.

I have known Dr. McLelland for 20 years. I was originally his patient. He took my wisdom teeth out and removed scar tissue that had over grown on my ear. After that I went into the dental field and attended several continuing education courses through his office. So when it came time for my son to have his wisdom teeth removed, I knew who I could trust to take exceptional care of him! I'm pleased to say that my 14 year old had just as good of experience with Dr. McLelland and his team as I did 20 years ago! Dr. McLelland's team is knowledgeable and very professional. The office is extremely well-kept, up to the highest of standards to help make sure you and your family stay healthy during your procedure. Dr. Brian McLelland has a very nice office located in a convenient place in Spokane Valley. His staff are informative and thorough. Dr. McLelland has a an easy-going and wonderful "bedside manner" about himself which makes the patient and loved ones feel at ease about the procedure. I felt confident that my son would be just fine even with the possible complications that could occur. I was very impressed that the doctor himself called to post op check on his patient that same day!

My extraction appointment was scheduled for 8:30 a.m.. Because of the organization and preparation of the Liberty office, dental staff and Dr. McLelland, my extraction was completed and I was home, by 9:10 a.m. I found Dr. McLelland's personality to be very engaging and humorous. He has a way of creating a comfortable environment and reducing concern about the upcoming procedure. Also, prior to and during the process, he explained what was about to happen and continued the narrative, as he finished the work. Post-op instructions were provided, along with a prescription, for pain medication. Dr. McLelland, personally called me, that afternoon, to see how I was doing and if I had any questions. Since then I have not experienced any discomfort and am healing very well. I highly recommend the Liberty Oral and Facial Surgical.

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed here at Liberty Oral surgery, the procedure went well and I felt good about it until I started experiencing a lot of pain about 4 days after. I called on day 5 because I was experiencing a significant amount of pain where I felt I was dismissed by the nurse and told to just continue taking the pain medication, I called again on day 6 still experiencing alot of pain and I thought I may have dry socket where they called in Antibiotics. On day 7 I was still experiencing a lot of pain and scheduled an appointment to be seen. My mistake, wasn't able to get to the appointment on time and was told they then couldn't see for another 6 days. I opted to not be seen, in hopes that 6 days later I'm not still feeling the same. In the end the procedure went well, but I felt that their post-op care is lacking.
