We want to make dental care enjoyable for our patients. While going to the dentist may never be fun, we try to take the stress out of dental care. Our dental center is filled with comfort amenities, and we offer sedation dentistry for those who have anxiety when visiting the dentist.
Dr. Macall, Dr. Casey and our entire team at Liberty Lake Smile Source are experienced, compassionate dental professionals that care about our patients. We take the time to get to know each patient and their family all ages are welcome at our practice. From the moment you walk through our door, you will notice a difference. We cater to our patients, from our beverage bar and childrens play area to the advanced technology we use in our operatories. Most importantly, we treat every patient like a VIP and part of our dental family.
Dr. Casey is a General Dentist who takes pride in creating and maintaining healthy smiles. He grew up in the Inland Northwest and attended undergraduate school at Franciscan University in Ohio. He attended Dental School at Creighton University in Nebraska and is happy to be back in the Northwest practicing since 2001. Dr. Casey opened his practice in Liberty Lake in the Fall of 2002.
Dr. Casey has participated in FDA clinical research trials for the implant system called Trefoil All-On-3. Four of his patients successfully completed the trials, and Nobel Biocare launched the release in the Fall of 2017. Dr. Casey has also completed hundreds of hours of continuing education including advanced cosmetic, implant, Invisalign and orthodontics. He has been a member of the American Dental Society, Washington Dental Society, and Spokane Dental Society since 2001.
Dr. Brian Macall was raised in San Jose, CA and introduced to dentistry at a young age by his grandfather and two uncles who were dentists. He attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2001 before earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2005. Upon dental school graduation, Dr. Macall moved to Liberty Lake, WA and started his dental career in private practice in Coeur d Alene, Idaho.
In 2006, he relocated to Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, a community health clinic in North Spokane. At this clinic, Dr. Macall treats many of the areas underserved residents and serves as Mentoring Dentist to dental students and dental school graduates. While at Yakima Valley Clinic, Dr. Macall was instrumental in establishing a successful one-year advanced education dental residency. He currently is a faculty member of Lutheran Medical Center which provides one-on-one training for post-graduate dentists. In addition to this, he is a dental faculty member at the University of Washington and a mentor for UW students who do a four-month rotation at Yakima Valley Clinic in Spokane, known as the RIDE program.
Dr. Macall is a member of many dental organizations including Washington Dental Quality Assurance Committee, ABCD Program, the American Dental Association and the Spokane Dental Society. He is also a medical staff member at Sacred Heart Hospital where he treats pediatric and developmentally disabled patients.
Dr. Macall enjoys spending time with his wife, Abby and their five children, playing golf, attending his kids sporting events, and taking advantage of various outdoor recreational opportunities in the area.
Dr. Smith loves being a dentist because it gives her the opportunity to help people achieve a healthy mouth and a great smile. She loves being able to incorporate her medical knowledge with precise techniques and artistry. She believes that every patient is different and enjoys finding the best solutions to help improve their dental health.

The people in this office are friendly, concerned and super efficient. I appreciate that they don't chat with me while they work in my mouth. A short chat then down to work! Afterward, advice on future care, more friendly chat and I'm on my way, relaxed and feeling good about choosing a new dentist.

Update: I wanted to come on here again and say how amazing Liberty Lake Smile Source is! I was diagnosed over a year ago with trigeminal neuralgia which is an awful nerve pain condition in my mouth. The office offered comfort measures during my cleaning which was so helpful. Becky was amazing as always she made me feel comfortable and she is very skilled at her job. Becky also took it slow and constantly checked how I was feeling. Becky has always been so positive when she talk to me and never makes me feel bad when my "build up" is more than previous visits. The new provider Dr. Smith was also very kind and she also took it slow and easy. My whole experience at their office was much better than I had prepared myself for. Previous: I have been seeing Dr. Casey for several years since my family moved back to Spokane. He has been the nicest most caring dentist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. Recently he had to break some bad news, that one of my root canels failed, and he did it is such a kind, gentle and educational way. I struggled with the news but I know it would have been far worse if it came from another less caring provider. Dr. Casey is always positive and encouraging every visit and the staff makes you feel like you are family.

This was my third visit to Liberty Lake Smile Source. I could not have been more pleased with Dr Tim Casey and his dental assistant, Mariesa - both competent, professional, and friendly. I greatly appreciated the details they provided on my teeth and their recommendations. I really felt they respected my input and final decisions were left to me. This was an ideal dentist office for me. My wife is immune system compromised so I try to be masked to protect her from COVID. Dr Casey and his dental assistant, Mariesa were really good at being masked. The reception and checkout were nice, but all 3 visits masks were on their chins or below their noses. I did appreciate being able to call from my car and then go to my exam room with only a short wait in waiting room. I absolutely hate going to the dentist. But all of the staff at smile source Liberty lake are extremely welcoming and make for a good experience. The cleanings are quick and I have no complaints.
