Our patients can visit any of our four offices, allowing patients to choose a location ordentist that best fits there needs. Dr. Michelle Olmstead is a 1999 graduate of Marquette University Dental School in Milwaukee, WI. Prior to dental school, Dr. Olmstead attended Gonzaga University in Liberty Lake, WA. In November 1999, she opened private practice in Liberty Lake.
Dr. Olmstead provides full service general dentistry and also specializes in cosmetic dental reconstruction and lip augmentation. Skill, compassion, and a genuine concern for her patients have earned Dr. Olmstead recognition as a role model in her chosen profession. She is a proud member of the Washington Dental Society, a member of Doctors Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS), is trained in Dentox (Botox for Dentistry), and has hospital privileges at Sacred Heart Medical Center to accommodate her patients with dental phobia.
Dr. Scott Hager is a Liberty Lake native. He earned his bachelors of science in biology from Gonzaga University in 2006. He relocated to the Midwest to attend Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE and earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, he brought his education and knowledge back to the Northwest and in 2010 began working in a private practice setting as an associate in Post Falls. He is excited to bring his experience back to his home state and looks forward to providing an exceptional dental experience to his patients.
Dr. Hager holds dual licensure in both Washington and Idaho and is a member of both the Washington and Idaho State Dental Associations, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Hager enjoys all the possibilities and aspects offered by the field of dentistry, but truly loves advancing his knowledge in more advanced procedures, ranging from extractions to gum tissue regeneration techniques. In his free time, he enjoys exercise, sporting events, and other outdoor recreational activities. He is also a huge Gonzaga fan and loves watching basketball and mixed martial arts.
Dr Jacob Kerst was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Gonzaga Preparatory School in 1986, before going on to The University of Puget Sound. At UPS Dr Kerst did research in Chemistry and was NAIA Academic All American for Football. Dr Kerst received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. After Creighton, Dr Kerst practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in downtown Seattle. Was voted by his colleagues to one of the Top Seattle Dentists, Seattle Magazine, multiple years, and was awarded Best Seattle Dentist four years in a row by the Seattle Weekly. Dr Kerst has also done extensive training at some of the top Aesthetic Dental Centers in the country including the Las Vegas Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr Kerst focuses on functional aesthetic dentistry. That is, dentistry that works lasts but is highly aesthetic. Full mouth reconstruction and anterior porcelain veneer cases are his favorite. Dr Kerst is trained in the treatment of TMD, Temporal Mandibular Dysfunction, with Botox injections
Dr. Robert R. DesRoches Jr. is a Spokane native and has over twenty years of experience in dentistry. He is a well-respected dentist in the Inland Northwest community and has the expertise and knowledge for all of your dental needs.
Dr. Robert DesRoches was born on an Air Force base in Michigan but was raised locally in Medical Lake, where he attended school K-12. He graduated with a biology degree from EWU in 1992 and then graduated from Northwestern School of Dentistry in Chicago in 1998. Spokane is definitely home but be sure to ask him about Chicagos Italian beef sandwiches and the fireflies in the Midwest.
Dr. DesRoches continues his education with many hours of seminars and lectures, including an extensive program at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI) and participation in the Spokane Study Club. Additionally, Dr. DesRoches is certified in Forensic Odontology and works with the Medical Examiners Office as part of the Eastern Washington Dental ID Team. He is also actively serving in the Army Reserves as a Dental Officer. Dr. DesRoches professional goal is to continue to offer state-of-the-art dentistry to provide optimal aesthetic and reconstructive care for his patients. When Dr. DesRoches is not busy providing excellent dental care, he is spending time with his family, camping, fly fishing, and being an active coach in a variety of sports for his children.
A dental implant is a metal rod inserted in your jawbone that is capped with a crown to look like your own natural teeth. Many people use these to replace dentures because they do not get removed and are more stable and allow you to chew as if they were your real teeth.

My mother has suffered 4+ years with posts drilled into her jaw waiting break after break for her teeth...dentures break over and over $15,000+ and still she has no bottom teeth! It is terrible to watch her suffer so much.They did this to her! Get 2nd opinion

My wife's experience mirrored some of the other 1-star reviews. Overall I think they do good work there and have some friendly staff. My wife had a partial made there and she broke it eating 2 times. The first time she broke it they charged us, which was fine assuming they did something to make sure it didn't break again. Maybe a year later it broke again, she went back and showed them. She isn't eating anything really hard or out of the normal. They fixed it and charged us and our insurance for it a 3rd time. I called and tried to ask if something they made kept breaking why are they not fixing it at a reduced rate, or maybe even for free after the second time? The Lady I was talking to was more inclined talking about future work my wife needed, so when I interrupted and asked again why we are getting charged for a faulty partial she hung up on me. Later when I went to schedule my wife's next cleaning, they informed me my wife was no longer welcome there.

Have been with Dr. Olmstead for nearly 10 years, and will continue! They deliver exceptional customer service with a smile, provide excellent care, and though going to the dentist isn't always my favorite thing to do, I feel less stress knowing the team at Liberty Lake Family Dentistry takes the best care of me!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Olmstead for 20 years. Dr. Olmstead and her team are caring, professional, trustworthy, and have never once disappointed our family. Going to the dentist was always very stressful for me prior to finding Dr. Olmstead. She and her team strive to make you feel comfortable and at ease. As long as she is practicing I will never go anywhere else! Highly recommend!!

This office is top notch! I have been going to Liberty Lake Family Dentistry for years. From root canals, bridge work, preventive care, etc., I have always experienced the best care and results. Dr. Michelle and staff are superior.

Liberty lake family dentistry made me feel very comfortable I trust them 100% to touch my teeth. I have super bad anxiety going to the dentist in general but they made me feel super comfortable. Went in there for a teeth whitening and my teeth look amazing and very white! Very impressed with the results and how nice and comfortable I felt. Would definitely recommend this dentist office to people.

Typically not a huge fan of the dentist... I mean once a year/every other cleanings which I know is bad, but dentistry offices have a hard job to do, and this office has been wonderful! I felt welcomed by "Loretta" at the front desk who has been working there ~22 years! My hygienist was personable and took my medical history and current physical dental health seriously (I also liked that the staff provide the computer with your record right in front of you to educate you, instead of the usual behind you thinking "what are you doing back there?"). The Dentist, herself, is professional, knowledgeable, and funny. I feel everyone in this office has been working in the dentistry field for years, and they're here to stay, so I'll be back in 6 months

This Dentist made several of my teeth food traps so I would end up getting root canals and extractions. I ended up getting numbed twice because they were over booked!!!

Having worked in dental offices for years before retirement, it's easy to pick up on how an office is managed. This office has such a great staff, pleasant and positive atmosphere, a solid sense that excellence is the standard. To top it off, Dr. Olmstead is the best and it feels like the staff enjoy working for her. They have a really good thing going on -- I highly recommend going there for your dental care!

The ladies at LL Family Dentistry are the best there is. Let's be real - going to the dentist isn't a day at the beach, BUT they make sure you are smiling, comfortable, and that your teeth are taken care of. They work around your schedule and do the best dental work in town. Dr. Olmstead is top notch and she has a fantastic team! You should probably get your teeth cleaned... and you should go to Liberty Lake Family Dentistry to do it.

Absolutely a great choice for your dental needs, treatment plans are discussed and they allow you a voice in decisions. All team members are cheery and attentive to ensure your visit goes well. Having had a horrible childhood dentist I've aways been on the edge at dentists...Dr. Olmstead and team take the edge off!

Dr. Olmstead and all her staff are awesome, from the front receptionist, dental assistant, and hygienist. Had several 40 year old cracked fillings replaced all at once. They are so good I even fell asleep twice when the were working on me. In and out in less than 90 minutes.

Having the ability to get a crown done same day is amazing, but having it covered by your insurance and the staff is efficient and thorough is top notch. I had the unfortunate experience of having a crown crumble apart, and the staff took the liberty to fix it within a few days. Their waits are minimal, but the care is impressive. I would highly recommend getting your care here over the others.
