Dr. Scot ODonnell is a native of Chicagoand earned a Bachelor of Sciencein biology from the University of Illinois. He continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, from which he graduated with honors in 1994.
His postdoctoral residency was completed at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. While there, he earned a Master of Scienceand a specialty certificate in orthodontics. His research on early treatment was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Scot is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. He proudly supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Autism Speaks.
Dr. Barbara ODonnell is originally from Austin and enjoys treating her patients close to home. After earning a Bachelor of Sciencefrom the University of Texas, Dr. Barbara spent the next year teaching high-school biology in Irving.
She enrolled at Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated with honors. Dr. Barbaracompleted her postdoctoral residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and earned both a Master of Science and a specialty certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Barbara has launched two successful orthodontic offices but has decided to limit her practice so she can spend additional time with her family. She is dedicated to working with her daughterSarah, who is severely autistic. Dr. Barbarais motivated to find a treatment strategy that will improve Sarahs quality of life.

My name is Dara, and I was born and raised in Austin. I am a clinical assistant and a laboratory technician at Liberty Hill Orthodontics. I have worked with the ODonnells since 1998. The things I enjoy the most are giving our patients the best care possible and being a part of a dedicated team.
My name is Kelly and I was born in Florence. I am a treatment coordinator and assistant. I began dental assisting in 1990, and started working with the Drs. ODonnell in 2006. During my many years in the dental field I have worked in every discipline, but I have found the most satisfaction in orthodontics. I love interacting with patients and their families, and always try to give the best care I possibly can. I consider myself very lucky to be working at an office where everyone works so well together and truly loves their job.
My name is Callie and I was born and raised in Lexington, a small town outside the Austin area. My husband and I now reside in Jarrell with our son Caden. I have been in the financial field since 2013 and was given the opportunity to work for Liberty Hill Orthodontics in 2018 as the financial coordinator.
What I love most about my job is getting to build relationships with our patients and their families. I couldnt be more proud to be working with such an amazing and dedicated group of people every day.

My son Wyatt, got his phase one braces off today after about 9 months. I have never seen a kid so excited about going to the dentist. He was never really nervous or scared before or during any of his visits. I know that when we are ready for phase two, we will be going right back to Liberty Hill Ortho for sure!!

My son Burk has had an expander, upper braces, bite blocks and now lower braces. I know not all of this has been fun for him, but Liberty Hill Ortho has gone above and beyond to make him comfortable and to make sure he understands what they are doing and how to take care of his braces. I recommend this place above all others we looked into.

This practice was our third opinion for getting braces. We by far liked the staff and dentist the best. We didn't feel like they were just trying to make a sale. The dentist gave us the options and didn't try to push us in any certain direction. My son was worried about getting braces due to sensory issues. On the first appointment they made him feel very comfortable and explained each step so he knew what to expect. I highly recommend this practice.

We've been coming for years to monitor a few things. Dr. O'Donnell has a conservative scope of practice. His entire team have been wonderful to work with. We've been informed every step along the way, and actually enjoy every visit.

Kelly and Ellie are wonderful! From the initial inquiry to seeting up a consultation appointment, and starting treatment Kelly has been so helpful and informative! My son had his braces put on today by Ellie, and she explained to him everything that she was doing at each step of the way. This made him feel comfortable with no surprises! She was incredibly diligent and quick. The braces care procedure was detailed and greatly appreciated, as teenagers don't listen to their parents when we tell them what foods break brackets!

If I could give Liberty Hill Orthodontics 10+ stars, I would. From the moment I made an appointment for my daughter the entire staff has been amazing. When you walk in the office door you see all smiles from everyone. Kelly answered every question I had with patience and detail, and included my daughter in the conversation which made her feel comfortable. Dr. Scot has the best disposition and really makes us feel like we are the only patient in his office every time we are there. He is kind and makes sure to check in with my daughter on how she is feeling throughout each appointment. You can tell that this office works as a team and they support each other and their patients. I am so glad we chose Liberty Hill Orthodontics! Thank you for all you do!

I am consistently amazed at the level of professionalism and heart I see at LH Orthodontists. When I first took my son Michael to see Dr. Scott, we were somewhat traumatized by our last orthodontist. We came in for a second opinion. Both the Dr and Kelly were very upfront with us regarding what to expect, the steps, as well as finances. There was never any pressure. I never felt I wasn't given all the information. Every time we come in we feel taken care of and that our hand will be held through the process. As a mom, I cannot begin to express just how much it means to me, that my son feels safe in their care.
